This Jimmy John's location does most of its business during the day. I was there at dinner time and there were just a couple of people there. It's a nice place to sit and enjoy a good sandwich. The staff there is really nice, too. I don't have a lot to say. It's all good. Use the app and you can have your order waiting for you when you get there....and probably find a coupon deal to go with it! read more

Just a quick note to say what great service I received today . Ordered for delivery and order was incorrect . Their phone line was down so I tried texting the # that notified me of the delivery and the person on the other end responded . I'm not sure why JJ's have decent sandwiches but charge so much! They are quite expensive, honestly. And I find the size of the sandwich odd because one sandwich is more than one can eat for lunch but if I split half with a colleague, we're both still left a little hungry. It's no secret that I love Jimmy John's. But this location? Hands down the best. The bread is better than many of the other locations I've eaten at. It's just.... fresher. Chewier. More delicious. I'm wondering what their secret is. The staff is wonderful here and they always provide excellent service. They are one of the few locations that has a rewards card, so you can get free subs after you fill a card up. Actually, this is the ONLY location I've seen this at. And when I've called to place a catering order for work, the manager is super easy to work with and fun to talk to. When they deliver catering orders, they take the time to actually set it up for us instead of dropping it off and leaving. They're the only place that does that. Sadly my office is moving deeper into the Loop this weekend, so I won't be a regular here anymore. Though the manager has assured me I can still call him instead of another location for my catering needs, it's a bit far to trek for lunch for myself. I was in Chicago for a football tournament recently and we decided to go to Jimmy John's for a quick lunch. I am from California so I was not familiar with Jimmy John's so I just went with the classic turkey sandwich. I don't know if it was because I was so hungry, but this was probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was extremely fresh and flavorful and was a perfect size to satisfy that lunch craving. I have eaten sandwiches from many different shops but this one just did it for me. This location just opened last week and so far everytime I walk by it's been pretty packed. I couldn't decide where I wanted to go for lunch, I knew I wanted a sandwich but my favorite sandwich places were all outside and it was just too cold for me to venture outside. Anyways, the line wasn't too bad when I got inside and it went fairly quickly. I ordered my sandwich and it was ready in less than a minute. The sandwich itself was very good. My only problem was that it cost me $6.71! And I only got the sandwich, no chips, no drink. As much as I enjoy their sandwiches I can take my $6.71 down to Brian's or the Deli across the street and get a huge sandwich, bag of chips and a drink! But when it's snowing or too cold outside I guarantee I will be back at Jimmy John's. read more

Quick trip to Chicago and while walking on Wednesday night had a sandwich here. Quick visit, quick bullet points. + place was empty and I got my sandwich in less than a minute (some people may think the place being empty is a - ) including paying for it. Take that competition! + the sandwich maker was a very young girl who had a smile on her face and literally turned the whole sandwich tray with ingredients and meats around for me to look at because it was the first time I had heard about the chain let alone eat there. She was friendly and helpful. The thinner girl at the cash was not so enthusiastic. + tuna sandwich (no cheese) was what she recommended and it felt delicious and fresh. She did say most people choose deli however. - the bun was fresh, but should have been heated or toasted or something. It was cold. - premise was clean - seemed like a dearth of drink choices. All I could see was water so I took it, but a few fruit juice options would be nice. read more

Bread was fresh and food was up to Jimmy Johns normal quality. I will mention 2 negatives in my mind. First the music is so loud that you can't hold a conversation without basically yelling. This location is the worst to order from. I've ordered from here about 10 times and each time I either got the wrong sandwich, wrong ingredients or my order got cancelled without me knowing. Every time! For what they claim to be and how fast they deliver I wouldn't order from this location. They cannot uphold what they advertise. Amazing. Literally stumbled on to Jimmy John's accidentally driving by on my way to a shoot. I thought it was a steak or yet "another" burger place. Am I glad I stopped in. Amazing sandwiches. It's been about 5 years since I've had a sub from Jimmy John's and its good to know they haven't changed a bit. The bread is still great for a fast food joint as is the quality of the meat. I love Jimmy John's sandwiches, but volume of music in here is obscene, ruined our lunch. Saw other people go to sit down, then head for the door when they realized how loud it is. I realize they are creating an atmosphere, but they are a lunch place, not a nightclub. We pointed this out to person at counter, she said nothing could be done, management told them it has to be that loud. Great customer service. They were taking longer than usual for delivery so i called after about thirty minutes (which really isn't that long). The person on the phone apologized profusely, explaining it was because they were really busy with the weather and had only one delivery person and offered to throw in a freebie to make up for the lateness. I like this place. It is a good quick place to get a bite where everyone on the staff has been very friendly. I walk in every other day and ask them what I want. They always deliver.
