I frequent this location a lot within the past year and I have to say that some of the reviews I've read here don't reflect my experience at all. The restaurant has always been clean , my food has always been well made and fast. I typically eat at the restaurant because the tables are clean. The staff has always been great , specially the manager , she's a tall Hispanic woman who is always working hard and she's very courteous. Sadly, I won't be able to stop as often as I like because the job site where I go to will be moving. Support this restaurant and it's hard working crew .

Compared to the rest of the fast food garbage in Benbrook this JJ's is a decent option. Unfortunately that's the best I can come up with. As far as JJ's goes, this location is my least favorite. Seems to be a high turnover of staff, and not very friendly. I appreciate the swift sandwich assembly, but the vibe here is a bummer. It's a 50/50 shot that they will mess up my order so I'm usually adding or subtracting something from my sandwich. Lately, I've been scraping off all the lettuce because it's old and yellow. I get it....they want to maximize the use of veggies and not waste any inventory, but the cut off for freshness needs to be re-evaluated. I hope it stays open but it needs to up its game to get to the level JJ's is known for.

1 Star Just because It Only Takes 1 Person to Ruin the Experience:…read more My wife and I visited the Jersey Mike's Subs in Benbrook tonight, Tuesday, February 3rd, around 8:30 PM. We're both in the service industry, so we're very mindful about going into places close to closing time. This location closes at 9:00 PM, and we even paused before walking in, debating whether it was fair to the staff. Ultimately, we decided it was still within business hours and went in. There were two gentlemen working who were polite, professional, and welcoming. They took our order without any attitude and started preparing our food right away. Honestly, their service was exactly what you'd hope for--calm, respectful, and professional. Credit where credit is due. Unfortunately, the experience was completely overshadowed by the behavior of another employee. A young woman who was mopping the floor visibly changed her expression when she saw us come in, clearly annoyed that customers had walked in before closing. She then went into the restroom. When she came back out, she immediately jumped into food prep--handling sandwich paper and bread without gloves after being in the restroom and touching her hair and hat. My wife politely asked her to change gloves due to basic food safety and hygiene. While she complied, her body language and attitude made it very clear she was unhappy about being asked to follow basic sanitation standards. No customer should feel uncomfortable for expecting safe food handling. We considered asking for the sandwich to be remade or walking out altogether, but given the time and the situation, we decided to let it go and not escalate it in the moment. That said, after we paid and got into our car parked directly in front of the store, we could see the same employee in the back area visibly upset and reacting dramatically, while the two gentlemen were laughing with her. Let me be clear: we fully understand how exhausting service industry work can be. We've both lived it. We know what it feels like when you're close to closing and just want to go home. But that never excuses poor hygiene practices, unprofessional behavior, or making customers feel like an inconvenience for simply walking in during posted business hours. There are no "nasty places"--only nasty attitudes that make places feel unwelcoming. Employees like this don't just affect one interaction; they drive customers away entirely. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we won't be returning. This location has potential, and the two gentlemen working tonight represented the brand well. Management should seriously address the attitude and food safety standards of the other employee, because one bad interaction can undo the effort of the entire team.

My husband found The Great Outdoors Sub Shop, and it absolutely hit the spot. The bread is baked fresh in-house, and all of the fixings tasted fresh and high quality. I grabbed a bag of chips and a drink, and it made for a solid, satisfying meal. If I'm being picky, I wouldn't have minded a little more meat--but overall, the flavor was on point. The place was clean, with steady foot traffic from nearby businesses, which is always a good sign. The servers were ready to take on all the orders that came in. Bonus points: they also offer desserts and ice cream! Definitely a great option if you're craving a classic deli experience

I ordered the salmon Benedict's and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. We were quite perplexed on their sides. They don't offer french fries with a hamburger or even a bag of chips. Their sides are potatoes au gratin, asparagus, Mac & cheese,if they have it, and mushrooms. We were also quite surprised at the exact location of this restaurant. It's tucked away on a small street of a camp Bowie in a strip shopping center. We found the food to be very good, but it'd be nice to have appetizers on every menu and it would be nice if you could have french fries to go with a cheeseburger. I'm sharing pictures of the menu for the brunch and lunch. The dinner menu has more options.
