We chose the outdoor seating option since it was a beautiful day. Outdoor area is very spacious and kid friendly. They had live music the day we stopped so that was a plus as well. Service was phenomenal! My second glass of water had a weird taste, shared with the waitress and it was immediately corrected. Had the pretzel as an appetizer and smash burger for my entree. Both were excellent! I live about 1.5 hours away and would seriously consider driving back for the pretzel! Yes, it's big and that good! ENJOY!

Enter David's Kitchen & Bar, opened for a little over a year now at 1020 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45245. My daughter joined my wife and me on this visit, and while there is a kids menu, she opted for something more exciting and went with the crispy chicken sandwich topped with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles on a potato bun with a loaded baked potato on the side ($15.69). Nothing too out of the ordinary, but a solid chicken sandwich and potato. My wife ordered the tender basket with fries ($13.99), which featured hand-breaded and fresh tenders that were really good. Their fries are also hand-cut and freshly fried. Good stuff! I enjoyed the grilled chicken balsamic sandwich topped with balsamic glaze, pickled onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and a mozzarella cheese melt served on a potato bun along with a small garden salad on the side ($15.69). I think this was the star of the meal. The balsamic glaze combined with pickled onion was outstanding!

I went in just needing a caffeine boost, but ended up staying for lunch because I was pleasantly surprised by how many good food options they had. I started with a latte with vanilla and macadamia milk. They offer real milk, oat milk, and macadamia milk. The latte was delicious and came out at the perfect temperature. The person I was with got an Earl Grey that was equally good, and they also do full pots of tea if you want to sit and stay awhile. For lunch, I got an egg salad sandwich on gluten-free sourdough bread that's made in house. It felt healthy and filling, and I paired it with the carrot miso soup, which was also gluten free and really comforting. There was a small mix up with my friend's order and they didn't get exactly what they asked for, but honestly it was fine. I love supporting small businesses, and you could tell everyone was trying hard. The ambiance is absolutely adorable. It looks like they thrifted a lot of the décor. It's Peanuts/Snoopy themed, which was so cute and a little Hallmark-movie cozy. The seating was a mix of hardwood tables with mismatched chairs, bright and sunshiny with lots of natural light, and it just felt welcoming. The staff were wonderful. The worker helping us was so friendly and careful about my food allergy questions, running back to the kitchen to double check at every question so there were no mistakes. Someone I assume was the owner or manager came around to check on every table, which made the whole place feel very personal and cared for. Overall, I absolutely loved this café. I'll definitely be back, and honestly I hope they get enough love to expand someday because spots like this make a community feel special.

    Biggby Coffee - Menu - September 2025

On a recent trip to the Cincinnati area to visit with some local family members, I stopped at…read moreBiggby Coffee for a morning pick-me-up. When I am in any new place, I like to visit businesses that are either local, or do not exist where I live. As I was looking online for some coffee options, I came across Biggby. Having never heard of it, I decided to give it a try. I am the only person in my family whom I was traveling with that drinks coffee, so I made this trip to Biggby solo. From my research, it appears that this is a coffee chain that originated in East Lansing, Michigan. It has since amassed over 400 locations across the US, with most being in the northern Midwest. There is one store in Idaho, and some more scattered along the southern Atlantic coast. Most locations seem to be franchises, as I assume this one is as well. Biggby Coffee is located in the Eastgate area of Cincinnati. Specifically, it sits on the corner of Eastgate N Drive, Wyler Park Drive, and Glen Este-Withamsville Road, just off of James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway. It is near the Clermont County Public Library - Union Township Branch, Meijer, and several other restaurants. To me, it looked to be a newly-constructed building, so I am not sure if anything was ever here previously! I thought it was relatively easy to navigate to Biggby. The building sort of sits by itself, and though there is no road sign to see from far away, the orange roof and branded signage on the tallest part of the building help to point you in the right direction. This is primarily a drive-thru establishment, but there are parking spots around the perimeter of the property. The footprint is small, but is it relatively easy to figure out which way to go in order to get in line. Along with the drive-thru setup, there is a walk-up window to order at. Not too much seating here, which is expected given the nature of the business, but there is a bench near the walk-up window to utilize. I arrived here just after 11:00 AM on a Sunday morning in September. It was not too crowded, but there were a few other customers both in the drive-thru and at the walk-up window. I chose to go through the drive-thru, so I took a minute to look over the menu before ordering. The staff was fine with that, and since it was not super busy, I was not in a rush to keep the line moving. They serve a variety of coffees, lattes, teas, freezes, energy drinks, cold brews, food, and more. There were probably over 20 different flavor options to add into drinks, several of which were sugar free. It appears that they have seasonal flavors and specials, as the feature items on the menu were pumpkin and maple at the time of my visit. Since I had already had breakfast, I opted to just get a coffee to drink. The staff were all very nice in providing some additional information and giving their recommendations on what to get. I ended up ordering a 24-Ounce Iced Coffee with Pumpkin and White Chocolate, half sweet. They called this White Pumpkin, and it was a seasonal feature. I really did enjoy my drink! It was the perfect sweetness for my personal taste, and I got to sip on it for a few hours. Service here was very prompt and efficient. I spent less than 3 minutes in the drive-thru from when I placed my order to when I was pulling away. I had a very positive experience in regards to the overall service I received. I think the value here is pretty good, but also pretty standard when comparing to other coffee shops. They have several different Bigg Deals, where you get a drink and food item for either $5, $7, or $9, depending on your choices. My coffee ended up being around $5, which again is pretty normal for a drink like that at a shop like this. I thought the pricing of the menu as a whole was pretty fair. I am glad that I stopped at this Biggby location to give it a try! Like I said, I have never heard of this brand before, but really enjoyed my visit to this location and my first experience trying the coffee here. I would definitely stop again at a different location, or at this one when I am back in the area. On my next trip, I hope to try some of the food items or maybe even a fancier latte-type drink. I think this is a good edition to the Eastgate area, and provides some variety for your coffee choice. I would recommend giving a Biggby a try if you are thinking about doing so!
