staff is rude and argumentative! Order was made incorrectly and staff actually argued with me over it telling me the onions they put on, were in fact not onions and were simply thick slices of lettuce that tasted like smelled like onion because the lettuce sits by the onions lol. Going on day two of feeling unwell from the onions I ate from the bite of sandwhich they argued didn't have onions on it . Oh and to make things worse , even though I had taken a bite of the sandwich , they dismantled it in the prep area rather then just toss it out. Holy unsanitary! This place needs more training for staff on how to legally handle food. We will never be back. read more

I was excited for a Jimmy John's spicy Italian sub. I was looking for something easy to take back and eat at my hotel. The place was slammed. They had a good number of folks working, so it didn't take long. Biggest disappointment was the bread. It did not seem fresh. It seemed like it was day old bread. Unfortunately restaurants like this can be hit or miss. Tonight was a definite miss. I won't be headed back to any Jimmy John's soon. read more

We always have a good experience at the Alexandria JJ's! It's our favorite stop when going up north.

SUNDAY 3:00Greeted with a smile and patience's as we scanned the menu. Server was helpful answering questions. Food was fresh but dull, lacking in any REAL FLAVOR. I ordered #5 Vito with salami and capocollo with lettuce , tomato, mayo, vinegar and oil and oregano-basil. I will definitely ask for more seasoning, next time. There were five employees on staff, who seemed to be busy with customers, both in-house and at the window. Dining room was disappointingly dirty. Perhaps, they just finished a busy shift ? Tried the little John $5.35; not worth the price!Meat was not even close to half of what one would get in a regular, which costs only $2 more. Normally in the past I've had great experiences here. The past 2 times, not so good. One was the in their drive-thru. The person taking my order did not listen, cut me off while talking and even though everything was repeated several times they ended up getting the order wrong. Second time was delivery. I ordered an Unwich which was wrapped in really brown, slimy lettuce. Pretty sure anyone that would eat such a thing would be sick, so it went right in the trash before taking a single bite. Might be a while before I go back to JJ's. read more

I tried to order a sandwich online, the way I wanted it. Every time I tried to finish the order it popped up saying I hadn't checked all the options. I finally gave up and didn't order it. Are they trying to sell me more stuff? I'm done with JJs!! read more

I have always loved jimmy johns and go quite often. Never had any issues until today...the young man who took my drive through order rushed us and was annoyed when we wanted to order more than one sandwich. We had to repeat our order multiple times. when we got to the window he was extremely unfriendly and forgot 4 things that was on the receipt but not in the bag. When we told him, he rolled his eyes and shut the door on us. love the food and all the workers there, but not this one. read more

I have been going to Jimmy Johns restaurants in MN for the better part of two decades and these guys win the award!! Alexandria is half way between our cabin and our house (a 3 hour drive) and these guys continually help to make it at least 3.5 hours! Freaky Fast? I think not! More like unbelievably slow! Nobody is even in the place and the wait is horrendous! Most Jimmy Johns have your sandwich damn near ready by the time you paid.....these sloths are counting out napkins......one.......two......three. Then they have 4-5 dudes, with their underwear showing cus they are sagging their pants so bad, just waiting around until the one or two people actually working, are assembling Sandwiches like Mr. Miyagi trims his bonsai tree. We have no choice because our kids love JJ's but my goal is to start timing this store to get real data.....hopefully that will get the owners to make some changes in their management, hiring and training. read more

The owner personally contacted me apologizing for our horrible experience and agreed to buy us lunch. We came a few weeks ago and were happy with our pleasant experience. Everyone working was friendly and our sandwiches were made perfect this time and quickly! We will definitely be returning in the future. read more

Very fast delivery and very nice delivery guy. Glad I asked for tomato and extra mayo. The sandwich was still very "dry".

We stopped here on our way to and from the Cities. Went through the drive-thru and it was SUPER slow. The sandwiches were fresh at least.

Way to many sprouts on sandwich. Staff was not even close to the enthusiasm I expect at jj's. Music way to quiet, sandwich maker was way out of line with a profanity laced tirade about something. I am not a small guy and he never saw me or offered an apology, just was concerned that I had heard the comments. Ain' t no way you can give me a 5 star, it's a friggin sandwich, yea I know they are pretty good. I eat there for lunch regularly. read more

First time I ate here I actually had enough time to get my drink filled and sit down before my sub was ready. I frequent many Jimmy Johns and this was by far the slowest one. Freaky slow not fast here. Speed has been better since but it's still the slowest I have ever eaten at. read more
