They yell at you when you enter but it's cool - they're just saying "hello." They are very quick - if you beat the lunch rush you can enter, order and leave with your sandwich in probably under three minutes. I frequently go to JJ for lunch since they are so close to my work. On days that the weather is bad or I am being lazy I have noticed that they are really fast when delivering it to you, even when I decide to get out and walk there you still see their workers literally running out the door to their cars making deliveries. They are always so nice with a smile and seem happy every time. I like the Italian sub the most and that is what I usually get most days but sometimes I try to mix it up and try any of the other sandwiches which are just as good. The pickles there aren't bad either, they are pretty decent. When you go into the restaurant it is pretty small like Subway is except it seems to be louder in JJ, as there are a lot more employee's behind the counter all making sandwiches, they are definitely way busier than Subway. That being said, I prefer to usually eat outside (there isnt a patio outside but I eat in my car on a pretty day) or take it back to work and eat it there. Overall the sandwhich was what I expected, good, well put together, but the value isnt there. By the time you buy a sandwhich, have it delivered and tip the driver a dollar or two, you're spending well over 10$. The sanwiched are good, but don't expect there to be a lot of meat in it. The tuna sanwich actually tastes like tuna-not just mayo and mustard. Worst place ever to get your food delivered. It took them about 2 whole hours to deliver my sandwich when I don't even live 10 minutes away. If it's going to take a whole day delivering food just don't do it at all. I called in to place my order at exactly 6:06pm and the guy taking the order was also very rude and hung up while I was trying to ask a question right after he took my card number. To try and not miss the knock on the door I even turned off the TV and waited in the living room. Then I waited a good 50 minutes and called them again at 6:54pm wondering where my order was. The first guy told me to wait and another girl picked up the phone and she also told me to wait. Really?? Then a couple minutes later the girl told me that my sandwich was delivered, but no one answered the door so the driver brought the sandwich back. Is this some kind of a joke? So if I didn't call in the first place they weren't even going to notify me that my order was sent back with it already being paid for? This is ridiculous. And I've ordered from them before and the guy who delivered back then gave me a call when he arrived at my apartments because he couldn't find the correct house. So why didn't this driver give me a call when I "didn't" answer the door? After calling back at 6:54 I thought my order was getting delivered right away so this time I sat right next to the door waiting for my order then I receive another call at 7:20 saying that my order is NOW getting delivered and might even take longer because the driver went out with a couple other orders. If I was able to give them a no star rating, I would. I live about 5-10 minutes from this Jimmy John's. I've ordered from them 4 times now. All 4 times took them over an hour to deliver. The 3rd time not only did it take over an hour, but they also forgot my drink. The delivery guy said he'd go back to get it for me, but he never came back. The 4th time I ordered from them, again not only did it take them over an hour to deliver, but this time they forgot my chips and brought me the wrong drink. This location used to be fine, that is no longer the case. I do not know why I continue to order from them but my laziness gets the best of me. I often order the tuna salad and about 1/2 the time they are out, which would be fine if you got more than one slice of turkey as the replacement. The last few times I have placed an order it has taken roughly 45 minutes when I live about 5 minutes away. Most of this I get over however, today they brought me the wrong drink AGAIN! I called and told them that I received tea instead of Dr. Pepper and they said "Ok, I'll tell them" and quickly hung up on me without saying whether or not the correct drink will be sent or if I will be refunded. 15 minutes later the delivery guy showed up and apologized with the correct drink in hand. I am a self-professed sandwich aficionado, so this place piqued my interest with their "gourmet" sandwiches! They have a wide variety to choose from and you can always add to your sandwich or specify what you do and do not want on your sandwich or whether they should go "e-z" on a particular item or liberal as they usually are. I typically get the Tuna (Tuna with onions, celery and mayo or whatever the sauce is!) or Vegetarian (Alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, provolone-yum!, and an avocado spread with mayo-be sure to go light on the mayo, you may want to tell them no mayo and grab an individual packet or two) sandwiches on 7-grain bread and they're awesome, it's usually enough for lunch and dinner. The price is great considering I get 2 meals out of it. My serious complaint is about their lack of pickles, they only have whole pickles, which they will give you sliced in half, but this is not on the sandwich, I'm mystified as to why there is an absence of sliced pickles! Their whole pickles are not tasty, so my pickle needs are not met, I know it's very sad. To make up for this travesty I opted to put banana peppers on my sandwich and found it to work just as well, as they are not "hot," and are pickled, so... voila. Their hot peppers are very good as well, especially if you get the Vito (salami, capicola, provolone, onion, lettuce, tomato and vinaigrette on french bread)! As other people have said their lettuce is a bit "off," I honestly think it has to do with the way the lettuce is shredded or even the machine, suffice to say I typically 86 the lettuce. I work close to this location so I have them deliver quite often and they are SUPER fast! I was impressed to say the least. Oh!
