I have to give you 3 stars Jimmy John's and here is why. I stopped in the other day at lunch (first visit ever) because I needed something fast and I saw available parking which means there might be a chance of me getting food in 10 min or less. So anyway I go in and order my pepe (ham and provolone) and ask for some pickles - all cold sandwiches need pickles in my world - and am informed you only sell whole pickles. I don't want a whole pickle. I want slices of pickle goodness spread through out my sandwich. Apparently this is not going to happen so I give up on the pickles, but I was sad about it. Pay my $ (I think it was pretty cheap) got a combo. Go to fill my cup with Diet Dr Pepper and it comes out clear - yuck! no syrup. I dump that out and get a diet coke instead. That's now 2 things I wanted and couldn't get (without a hassle anyway) at JJ's. Bonus - as I finish filling my (2nd) drink they call my name and my sandwich is done. Wow! That was indeed lightning quick! As I ate my sandwich back in my office a few things crossed my mind: - WOW this sandwich totally needs pickles (about 5 times) - Too much mayo... - My lettuce tastes weird - This is the best bread I've ever had at a sandwich shop. Quick update: Visiting the store still gets 5 stores, but ordering online is down to 2 stars. You'd think ordering online would be a great idea. You're sick, busy, don't have time or energy to cook or go out to eat, so just go online an place an order. Sounds simple, right? I've never had more problems ordering online than with Jimmy John's website. Chips are always missing, they forget mayo packets, you order a sandwich with no veggies and get sprouts... I place an order for 6:30pm, and it arrives three hours early. Seriously? THREE HOURS? In addition, the drinks they offer online don't match what is available in the store. Powerade is a great match for the sandwiches and is available in the store, but not offered online. Call or visit, and you'll get exactly what you want. Order online and take your chances. read more

When it comes to sandwiches, this place is my to-go. There are many things to love about Jimmy Johns... One is the bread. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's simply delicious. I love that they insist on freshness, too. I also dig that they sell loaves of the day old bread for fifty cents too...take that, Subway! The meat and toppings are super fresh too. Provolone cheese and sprouts are a must on my sandwiches. And when they say they're fast, they mean it. They have one heck of an efficient sandwich assembly line! This place is a bit pricey though...the one and only drawback. A meal with chips and a drink can run you between 7-8 dollars! A combo should be a bit cheaper, IMHO. read more

This location should be stripped of it's right to use the phrase Freaky Fast. Delivery here is ridiculously slow. The average delivery time for me is close to an hour. Today we are at 30 minutes and I'm still waiting hence the Yelp review. That being said the food is great and even when my sandwich arrives an hour later than expected it still tastes great! Food quality is always superb but "freaky fast" does not exist at this location. We ordered once before for 1 sandwich, and it took over an hour for delivery. I live exactly a mile away. The manager didn't even call to tell us a big order had come in before mine, I only found out when I called after 30 minutes. Today was a lazy Saturday. Ordered at 2:15, it's been almost 30 minutes, and still no sandwich. I'm shocked because work delivery Was always quick from this location, but apparently not home delivery. This is not a gourmet samich like advertised! Tasteless white bread, no pepperocinis, barely any vinagarette. No sweet tea, staff was nice but not real welcoming. Should have checked Yelp before walking in....will find a Subway next time. read more

This jimmy johns sucks. I always call and ask the delivery time prior to ordering to see if I should just get it myself. For the past 2x, I was told the delivery time was less than 15 minutes for my house. Both times, the delivery time has been over 45 minutes. Jimmy johns needs to do a better job at quoting times because that is So infuriating. Obviously there is no concept or care of others time constraints. read more

I'd have to say Jimmy John's sandwiches are amazingly delicious. It's very rare to find good bread around Texas, when you were spoiled with amazing bread, and Italian food from NJ. I recommend the 9. The only thing that drives me nutzo, is that it's so echoey when your placing an order I have to repeat myself 4 times and they forget to bring stuff on your order. Mind you, it may be a side of hot pepper, something small who cares. But when you order from there almost once a week at the same place and tip them $5 every time, you would think that they could remember. read more

Very unhappy with their delivery service. It took an HOUR to receive my order from this location that was 1.5 miles away. I called to ask what happened and if they could give me a discount or another offer and I was told that I should have allowed 30-45 min for the driver to arrive AFTER my order was placed. This is ridiculous. I could've just driven there myself in 5-7 minutes and been done. Not to mention the person on the phone just kept talking in circles when I called. When the driver finally arrived, I told him it was an hour after I ordered-to which he said "wow! That's weird. We're not even busy today." Hmmmmmm Jimmy Johns, you need to step up your game with better service and possibly better staff that actually knows what "customer service" means. read more

I love Jimmy John's. Now that they deliver I love them even more. The order is always accurate. The deliver has arrived in less than 10 minutes at one time. Usually it can take about 20 minutes though. The only recommendation I have is use the order online function rather than calling. It tends to be loud in the restaurant. I used the online function the other day, the system told me what time my food would be here, and it arrived before that time. I was able to give instructions for them to get into my apartment, rather than having them call me to come down, and it was super easy. I couldn't recommend this place more. I just wish they had a bigger menu! read more

All I want is a sandwich and it appears that getting one might cost me my life. As I pull into the parking lot I'm greeted by the car behind me doing to my rear bumper what dogs do to each other. Ordering one sandwich at a time, pretty sweet but they forgot to do two things which are kind of important; 1 is napkins, this is the second time I have ordered a sandwich from them and had it delivered and they cant remember to put napkins in my bag. A seemingly simple task but apparently they are either penny pincers or they justify it by saying well they didn't come to the store so they don't get a napkin. Either way, put napkins in the bag next time. The second item which is not as bad but they dont seem to follow instructions on the online order, I asked to have the sandwich cut in half, how can they miss that because it is a Check Box as an item on the website so it wouldnt be hard to miss. They just forgot, the only good thing was the sandwich arrived within 30 minutes so that was nice. And on one last note, the sandwich I ordered was a Turkey Bacon sub with Tomato, Onion, Lettuce and Mayo well all in all it was good except the bacon was very salty. Jimmy John's has become an important ally in my low carb journey. They have perfected the unwich, a lettuce wrapped sandwich. The JJ Gargantuan is my go to and is both filling and delicious! Nothing is lost along with the bread on this sandwich. The texture is perfection and the lettuce is wrapped in such a way to optimize sandwich style eating. I suggest asking for it to be cut in half, as the Gargantuan is just that. It's enormous. Even better? JJ's delivers! read more

I first encountered Jimmy John's while living in Denton. A sandwich place that delivers until 2 in the morning? Hell yes! Many a time did I stumble in here as the bars were closing just making the cutoff on getting a sandwich made (and if not, paying $0.25 for a loaf of bread). Then I stumbled my way home through the Denton ghettos while munching on my Turkey Tom or Billy Club hoping that a mugger would want my wallet and not my sandwich. Now in Addison, I was thrilled to hear I had a Jimmy John's down the street. My thrills deteriorated when I heard they shut down at 10pm. The novelty of a sandwich place delivering me my sandwich after midnight was what made this place so great. Yea the food's good for the most part, but I often find myself adding on to my sandwich once I get it home to make it have a little more flavor. As a firm anti-mayo advocate, I have a hard time with the fact they insist on putting the stuff on EVERYTHING. . .and they're liberal with it too. Your condiment options are dijon mustard or mayo. . .I really think they could step the game up here. My favorite thing to get is a Turkey Tom (simple turkey sandwich) or the Beach Club (turkey, sprouts, avocado) but only after I can get some horseradish or chipotle sauce on them. I'll agree with some other reviews that there's something really weird going on with their lettuce. It's almost got a metallic aftertaste to it. Not serving pickle slices is also a huge let down. . .who really runs a sandwich shop w/o having the option to add pickles??? The delivery service is usually pretty reliable and I've only had one or two instances in the past couple years when they've really dropped the ball and I've called in and cancelled my order. If you're looking for a quick sandwich for lunch, you can't go wrong with Jimmy John's but don't hold your expectations to anything gourmet. It's good, but better when you're drunk. read more

I ordered from here almost 2 weeks ago for delivery. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 bags of chips. They delivered only the sandwiches so we called them and told them we didn't receive them so they said they'll credit us a free sub next time and the chips. I called tonight to place an order at 9:25 and its 11:12 and they never came. I called them at 10 to see where they were and was told it would be delivered soon as their last driver was out on delivery. NO ONE EVER CAME. I called and they were closed. This is ridiculous and I find it absolutely inexcusable to conduct a business this way or treat customers this way. I mean, how incompetent does one have to be to forget a delivery? Or chips from the initial delivery? This place is terrible and I'll never use them again or recommend them to anyone. read more

DON'T EAT AT JIMMY JOHNS!! I am 8 months PREGNANT. A couple weeks ago, as I pulled into the lot, a Jimmy Johns employee in his truck was tailing me about a half an inch from my bumper, he was swinging his arms around violently. I parked, he drove around and flew past me swerving his truck as if to hit me. He then parked and got out of his truck threatening to fight me! Needless to say I did NOT eat at Jimmy Johns that day. I went to SMASHBURGER. I wrote Jimmy Johns corporate office about this and they never acknowledged my email. I won't ever eat at Jimmy Johns again due to the worst customer service I can imagine. This location again fails to meet expectations. I would prefer Jimmy Johns above most competitors, but this location is horrendous. The customer service is horrendous, with employees (including management) being careless and seemingly incompetent. They have on multiple occasions delivered incomplete orders (missing chips, cookies, drink, etc.) and have failed to correct the issue after the fact. Additionally, the quality of sandwiches is simply sub-par, compared to their other locations. Though this experience wouldn't prevent me from remaining a loyal customer to other locations, I will not be ordering from this Belt Line location ever again. read more

I order here from time to time and it seems like the employees don't care or do not know how to read. I ordered a sandwich, drink, chips and a cookie and did not receive the bag of chips. I called the store and whoever answered the phone did not seem to care that there was no chips with my order. They didn't even offer to refund the $1.35 for the chips. For a group of people who claim they need to be making $15 an hour to survive can't seem to do $15 an hour worth of work. Well i walk in on April 21, 2016. It was about 3:45 pm. It was customer appreciation day and the subs were only $1.00. I told the guy i wanted one if the $1.00 sandwhiches they were giving for a $1.00. The guy tells me that stopped at 3:00pm, and i just took down all signs that say it ended at 3:00pm. I tell him show me the sign that says the $1.00 sub sandwiches ended at 3:00pm. He refuses to show me the sign. I tell him ok i'll leave my review on Yelp. I have tried to give this location chance after chance but they always have some issue. It must be managed poorly. Sometimes they tell me they only have one delivery driver, other times they just flat out get my order wrong. Tonight's excuse that caused me to give up on this location? They ran out of letttuce. Freaky Fast.... I would say not. My office is less than 5 minutes from this location and always takes 45 minutes to an hour. You can't advertise freaky fast if I could have gone to a different place and finished eating by now. If they know it is a high traffic area with lunch, maybe higher more drivers. I will no longer be ordering from them I will go to the other sandwhich shop, across the street that is a little more expensive, but faster. They obviously don't care by the overall rating.
