He showed up & took his ladder off the truck which I thought was to examine the amount of debris in the gutters for the estimate. Instead he took a bucket up & started to clean the gutters without giving an estimate first. He said, his pressure wash equipment was stored away for the winter but would remove the debris from all the gutters & 2 clogged downspouts by hand for $150. which I agreed to. He finished & I paid him. After he left I checked my home security cameras & didn't see him clean the upper level gutter above my backyard deck that runs the length of the house. I checked went on the deck & could see leaves overflowing in the gutter which is right next to a mature maple tree. I called Tyler & he came out a couple of days later & finished the job. I then asked him to give me an estimate to pressure wash my large retaining wall & back cement patio for the following Spring. He measured the retaining wall & patio & I never got the estimate until I emailed him in the Spring. The half done gutter cleaning job & having no pressure washing equipment wasn't so much the problem I had with this company it's this. I was blown away when I received the estimate $1,535! I checked average cost on both Google & Angie's List to do an entire exterior of a one story house which was $150.-$750. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THERE A RIPOFF!!!

I was satisfied with the quality of the work, but the project was not completed. The larger issues were timeliness, follow-through, communication, and billing transparency. Communication became increasingly unresponsive, and eventually the contractor stopped communicating with me directly, routing communication through his wife instead, which led to confusion about prior agreements. By late October 2025, the project remained unfinished. I was later told the business was prioritizing other types of jobs, something that had never been communicated upfront. I ultimately terminated the project in November 2025. A final walkthrough was never conducted before billing. I raised questions about specific invoice items multiple times over several months but did not receive explanations. Concerns that were raised were not addressed, and responsibility for unresolved issues was not acknowledged. In several instances, issues I raised were attributed to my expectations rather than addressed as deviations from the agreed scope or as workmanship concerns. Payment discussions were directed to a third party rather than handled directly with me, which I was not comfortable with, and I was unexpectedly told there was an unpaid balance after being informed a reduced payment would settle the account. I was also later told--after the fact--that the job was being worked on only in the contractor's "free time," which was never disclosed and would have affected my decision to hire them. Taken together, the lack of response to my questions and the use of third-party communication instead of direct contact ultimately damaged the process and made the experience feel dismissive and disrespectful. Additionally, a late-fee policy was introduced retroactively nearly three months after invoicing and had not been disclosed in advance or listed on the invoice. I paid the balance aside from the disputed portion in an effort to move toward closure. Based on my experience, I would not hire this business again. If you choose to work with them, I recommend confirming that scope, timelines, communication expectations, and billing terms are clearly documented in writing from the outset.

Never have we encountered such a professional, dedicated, precise and honest firm run by Charlie Patterson as Quality Landscape. From the very first contact, he proved to be superior to others.  Our property and lawns were decimated due to construction and to make matters worse, we had a drainage issue which required contouring for proper water flow away from the house, as well as construction of a new retaining wall.  We called 2 firms recommended by Angie...no response.  I did my own search and called Quality due to their 5 star rating.  Charlie was at our home within days as promised, came back again for another look at the retaining wall and promised a proposal by the end of the week which we received.  The work began on Wednesday, through Saturday, and was completed the following Wednesday, with over 18,000 square feet of topsoil, sod and mulch.  The new retaining wall is a work of art.  He works side by side with his crews.  His professionalism, easy demeanor, dedication, attention to detail, honesty and quality work is a refreshing change from the ordinary, and greatly appreciated by us. Everything he promised, from job visits, proposal, work, and timing were accomplished. I highly recommend speaking with him for your landscaping and construction needs!!

Crew showed up around 9:00, left for lunch around 11:00 and wrapped up each day by 3:00. They did not introduce themselves upon arrival or ask ANY questions like "where can we put the materials/supplies? Where can we put our ugly dump trailer? Can we set up our saw in front of your garage door?" They were also very sloppy leaving materials all over the yard including large nails and razor blades without regard of dangerous conditions for children and pets. The only reason they got a 2 star instead of a 1 star is because the end result does look nice. Too bad we had to complain and be "one of those customers" to get action.
