Needless to say, those problem areas are still leaking. I've found more leaks with this new roof than I had with the 20 year old roof from the new construction. I had them come out to "fix" the areas that were leaking and they were here less than 15 minutes. It leaked again after that so they came back and put a some caulk down on a few nails. I'm still finding leaks all over the roof. Absolute crap work.

This is not an evaluation of JCi Gutter Services as a whole, merely a reflection of my experience…read more On 10/13/2022, I inquired about price, availability, and reliability to clean my gutters, and JCi subsequently committed to cleaning my gutters before winter in an email stating, "You got it!!!" [Emphasis JCi's.] On 12/20/2022, I emailed JCi noting that I'd apparently not made its list after all and that I'd look elsewhere for a reliable contractor. The response included an apology with excuses about workload and weather, and an offer that if the weather warms up he could "try to get out there" -- not exactly the 'firm' commitment he'd made in October, so I once again stated that he needn't worry about it as I 'd look for someone reliable. JCi emailed again late on 12/29/2022 with an offer that he "may be able to come by" the next day -- once again, not a firm commitment to actually showing up, so for the third time I responded that I'd look for someone else -- some reliable. JCi replied on 12/30/2022 that, "I wasn't really interested in working for you after that last email but I was going to fit you in...". And there it is -- with JCi, I am the bad guy despite being clear in my very first inquiry that I was looking for someone RELIABLE. I am the bad guy despite the fact that JCi failed to keep a firm commitment to clean my gutters before winter [There's a word for that, and it's not "Reliable"]. I am the bad guy because JCi couldn't be bothered to let me know they couldn't keep their commitment [Reliable? Guess again!]. I am the bad guy here because I have this outdated notion that fulfilling one's commitments and keeping customers informed are actual evidence of being reliable -- not promises that I'll "try to get out there" and I "may be able to come by", all the while hedging your actual level of commitment by noting there are still other customers still needing service.

Aaron (third generation in the business came promptly and looked at what we skylights we had presently, made some suggestions (include solar powered shades), and would replace them w/ the same size Velux windows. The estimate was reasonable, and we decided to have them do the replacement. Aaron planned to replace them in about 4-6 weeks (upon delivery by Velux), and did fit installation into his busy schedule after about 7 weeks from August quote. He and John Schouten (2nd generation) installed them, and followed CDC mask guidelines, etc. when inside our home. Cleanup was very thorough. We are very satisfied with their work and recommend them to those considering similar roofing, siding and window projects.

Whenever deciding on a contractor, you also want fair prices, and no surprises, and A2Z did well on that too. We did have a hiccup however, the team made everything right in the end. We have 2 tips that we think can take the business to the next level. There must be a clear understanding between both parties when doing the estimate. This will reduce the need for scope creep in the project. For projects that require cleaning up, you need to make sure there is a plan to remove the trash. You take it with you, or it needs to be bagged in contractor bags to be put out periodically with the trash. I wish your business the best. I have no doubt that they will take these tips into consideration going forward. We will be in touch for the upcoming project.

Contractor sub-contracted the work (without informing me know) and the sub-contractor damaged the walls by using incorrect pressure washer jet nozzle, ruining the foundation of house (knocked out mortar from foundation blocks). They told me to fix their mistake they must charge me an additional $900 on top of previously agreed upon price. This company does not do they work, they sub-contract it out. Your results will depend on who is available at the time to do the work. There are good reviews from people who have had good sub-contractors come in. There are also bad reviews from people who had bad sub-contractors come in. If a bad sub-contractor damages your property, it will become your financial responsibility to have it fixed.

When a young man finally did show up to look at the roof, he said the foreman would return later in the evening because he knows what is wrong. The foreman did not show up. Much of the wallpaper removal damaged the underlying wall board which required them to repair and seal it with an oil based paint. Once sealed, they skim coated the walls using three applications, sanded, and primed the walls leaving a very smooth, paint-able surface. They finished by painting all surfaces with two coats of our pre-selected colors using my favorite paint from Sherwin-Williams. They were very flexible with their scheduling and fortunately completed the wall paper removal and smelly, oil-based painting while our office was closed over a three day period. They completed the rest of the work starting at 7 AM until noon each day when we were least busy. They cleaned all areas well before departing each day which allowed us to keep dust to a minimum. Most importantly, at no point did they disrupt our business operations. At all times Jeff and his crew were courteous, flexible, considerate, respectful, and quiet with our administrative staff, our counselors, and most importantly with our patients . They were truly kind with a great attitude and great sense of humor. Significantly, the price was very fair and reasonable for the huge amount of work they completed. On this visit I heard a strange banging outside the second story bedroom and realized that the flashing under the eve had come off and was hitting the power cable coming from the pole to the house. Mom is 88 and I'm not a spring chicken either, so the thought of finding a giant ladder and trying to fix this was out of the question. I had remembered that Robert's did the siding in the 90's, the garage roof in early 2000, and put 2 new windows last year. They did beautiful work each time, so I decided they should be my first call. I explained my situation to Sarah and she immediately hooked me up with Jerry. He remembered my Mom and her house and said "I got a few guys in the neighborhood, I'll send them by this afternoon"! What incredible service!!! Twenty minutes after talking, two great Techs were in Mom's driveway! They searched the bushes and found all the parts that had fallen off and then re-attached them. They then went and made sure all the other pieces were secure. Less than a half hour later, the problem was solved! I talked with the techs about two areas where the siding had gotten damaged by the trees and they said they could see if they could find some matching siding. I didn't think it could be possible almost 30 years after it was installed. This morning they showed up and fixed the damage and you can't even tell where it was! Beautiful work! Great Service!
