O.K. to explain the negative review from Mr. Greg Langron, Mr. Langron brought his vehicle in to be repaired for a hit and run. We repaired his vehicle for him, when he came to pick vehicle up we went over the repairs with him and he left satisfied. He came back about two weeks later saying there is a rattling noise and his alarm was not working. We looked at his vehicle adjusted the rear hatch, lubed the latch we did not hear any rattling after that. As far as the piece of broke trim yes it was broke but it looked as if someone had been in the hatch messing with things, because if was broke from the get go obviously he would have noticed that when we went over the repairs with him when he picked up his vehicle, although we bought a new trim piece for his car to make sure he was satisfied with the repairs. As for the alarm we instructed him to take it to the dealership due to the fact that we did not touch the alarm system as is standard operating procedures. The dealership informed him it needed a new latch. We put a new one in, he came to pick up vehicle and left satisfied. A month later one of our good customers called me and told me he had terminal cancer, and that he didn't have much time to live so he wanted to get things in order for his wife because he didn't want her to have any worries with his vehicles after he passes, so he asked me to sell his 2010 Chevy Camaro for him. He was not behind on his payments and only owed 14,480.00 which the car is worth about 28,000.00, so I did not see any problem in selling the vehicle for him, so she has no worries. My customer called The Harvard Community Credit Union and informed them of his illness and let them know that we would be selling his car for him. Well Mr. Langron works for The Harvard Community Credit Union who holds the lien on this vehicle. Mr. Langron came and scoped out my Lot the very day the car came on the lot to be put for sale. He later called my shop acting as if he was an interested party on this vehicle asking for information on this vehicle which we gave him. Then he came to my shop asking questions about a ford focus that was for sale. That was the end of it until the next day when I came to my shop and realized the 2010 Camaro was missing, I immediately called John who was in the hospital dying at the time, he said I'm not sure Jim let me call the Harvard Community Credit Union. So he did just to be told that they had repossessed his vehicle why "to protect there interest in the vehicle". But I'm not behind or any thing he says they informed him that it was in his best interest that they sell the vehicle for him. So Mr. Langron comes to my shop that morning asking for the key to the vehicle I responded with I do not have the key I can not help you with that, so he turns to walk out of my shop and the immature female that was with him at the time proceeds to call me a fucking asshole in front of my customers. To my understanding the Harvard Community Credit Union then takes silent bids on the vehicle that is up for auction before the 21 days the customer has to retain the vehicle. They have the wife sign the title. Guess what they offered her 20,000.00 and informed her that she should take the offer because it was a good offer. The car is worth 28,000.00 all day long. Now lets not forget he just passed away five days after they repossessed the vehicle. So he passed now worrying about his wife who he wanted to protect. Well me running the stand up company that I do I talked to his wife and offered to pay the loan off for her and to get the car back in her possession. So when we went to pay off the loan they tried telling her she owed them 1500.00 for a key a tow and the repossession costs as well as some mysterious past loan of 1500.00 and informed her if she did not pay this that they would come knocking on her door. Just ridiculous if you ask me, but now the car is back on my lot for sale for 28,000 and I will make sure the lady is taken care of not taken advantage of. My opinion is someone magically made a silent bid and was going to buy this car for 20,000 and then turn around and sell the vehicle on the street for 28,000 and pocket the 8,000 for himself not taking the customers wife into consideration at all. So I would have to say be careful if you have or are gonna get a loan from Harvard Community Credit Union they might just turn around and take your vehicle. I have heard of this happening with them on other occasions too. So a month later I get a complaint from the BBB and see all these negative reviews from Mr. Langron. Pretty funny how he left satisfied from my business about the repairs on his vehicle, until this situation came about now he has all kinds of complaints and continues to talk negatively about my business. THAT'S THE TRUE STORY HERE. Please keep in mind we fix over 1000 vehicles a year. read more
