Horrible. Do better for us in rural nevada. Couldn't even fill 50 gallons. 100 gallon minimum they say.

Gayle and I filled up our Subaru Forester here before heading out into the Central Nevada interior…read moretowards our destination several miles beyond Warm Springs and Base Camp (US 6). Gas stations are few and far between in parts of Nevada and it's always a good idea to always be driving above a half tank. This Golden Gate Petroleum facility is very nice. It's easy to drive in and out, the pump bays are wide and inviting, the wash water/squeegee equipment was in good order, the mini-mart was roomy and well stocked, and best of all the rest rooms were clean. For a 10-15 minute gas and pit shop, it doesn't get much better than this.

This gas station is fairly new in Fallon. The convenience store is big, nice, clean and well…read morestocked. The pumps are big, plenty of space for your big rig to maneuver and get in and out. Customer service is hit and miss and some of the services provided are affected by the customer service provided. A good example is propane filling. Getting propane tanks filled at this station is an ordeal of its own. I have tried to get propane tanks filled at this station many times and only successful twice. Other times it is too early, it is too cold, it is dark, they don't have enough people, even though one specify instance, there were two people at the register just chit chatting and one maintenance person walking around the lot, the store was not even busy but yet, they didn't have anyone to fill propane tanks. I believe they don't bother to fill propane unless it is a big camper or RV maybe it is not worth their effort unless it is 50GL or more at once. The times I have called and asked if they have propane to refill tanks, I am told yes but not today because it is cold, it is dark, too early (10am) it is this or that... but later as I drive by looking for a exchange or refill station, I see an RV getting serviced.

This used to be an excellent company. I don't know what happened. They have revamped everything…read morethey do and it is so customer unfriendly that after years of doing business with them their customers are looking for someone new to take their business elsewhere. Where do you start? Their phone system is atrocious. You can't reach them directly and they don't call you back if you leave a message. If you are lucky enough to get through then you are unlucky enough to get 'Eden' who is stereotypical of what is wrong when you have a bad reputation for customer service. You would think a company would want someone representing them on their phone system who is both pleasant and customer oriented. Apparently not here anymore, they prefer a snippy attitude from their customer service representative. They have done away with any previous discounts they applied to their customers for years. No explanation. They have taken away the option of paying for their propane immediately when rendered. Now you don't even get an amount due, you must wait for them to 'bill' you and hope that your amount is both correct and that payment will be applied correctly to your account. That was my first experience in finding out how radically the company has changed, when they applied my payment to someone else's account and sent ME an overdue payment notice and told me I was wrong when I called them to try and straighten it out. It took a trip into their office, in person with all appropriate paperwork and proof, after several unsuccessful attempts via telephone, before it was finally straightened out. If you have an option of getting your propane through someone else, do it. Bi-State doesn't care about customers and customer service anymore.
