Nicely decorated and again, that bed was so so comfy. If you are under 5'8" you may need a step stool to get in the bed! It can be noisy with the freeway and train nearby but we weren't bothered by it. There is a huge fountain outside the window that helps. This would be a great place for a small wedding or family reunion... the whole place is inviting and cozy. I am sure the grounds are gorgeous in the spring! They do not offer breakfast so we brought some muffins and fruit and enjoyed our coffee in the parlor... you do have full use of the kitchen so If you want to cook, you can. Within minutes of checking in, I noticed visible cleanliness issues that were hard to overlook, including dark spots and stains on the bedding, debris and dirt under the bed, and general signs of wear throughout the room. These are the kinds of things most guests notice immediately, and it made it difficult to feel comfortable settling in. Beyond the bed and floors, the room showed additional signs of poor upkeep. The lamp shade had visible stains and discoloration, and the privacy drape had what was very clearly someone's dried snot on it. Once I saw that, yes, I inspected the room further because I felt I had to. While checking the bed, I found dried raisins wedged between the mattress and the box spring. There was also an odd white powdery substance on the bottom of the TV that continued across the top of the dresser. None of this should ever be present in a room that is supposed to be cleaned and ready for a new guest. What made this more frustrating is that the room did not match the photos shown on the website. The online pictures present a much cleaner, better-maintained space than what you actually get in person. The difference between expectation and reality was obvious right away. Breakfast was another area of confusion. Some places on the website say continental breakfast, while other areas call it grab and go. In reality, you have to fill out a paper form with your selections and drop it off at the front desk. That may work for some people, but the way it is described online is inconsistent and misleading. Parking is now an additional $12 per day. We were given a paper to place in the car at check-in, but when we left, we noticed plenty of cars in the lot without any visible paper at all. It's unclear how this is actually monitored, and it came across less like a managed system and more like an easy way to collect extra money from guests.

Roseville/Rocklin is usually where I lodge when near Sacramento. This time, I needed something close to highway 65. I only needed one night, because this had to be a short trip. Staybridge is part of IHG hotels and I just signed up for free, to be a rewards member. Great perks! I looked over the features of location and it fit my budget and everything I needed! The room, a queen suite, exceeded my expectations! I was in awe! It was clean, had so much space, a fully equipped kitchen (minus oven but it did have a stove), utensils, etc. The bathroom vanity even had makeup remover wipes! Just look at my photos to see! Room temperature control were easy to use and comfortable. This location allows pets and there are so many grassy yards, with poop bags, for your dogs! Lots of nearby dining and shopping (literally in a mall parking lot). Off the highway! Check in, with a reservation, was a breeze. Staff was polite, friendly, and informative. If you ever need lodging when going to Lincoln, this is nearby. The free breakfast buffet was outstanding!! I didn't get any photos because I wanted to eat ;) Eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereals, yogurt, toast, bagels, juices, coffee, and more. I hear there is Happy Hour on certain days too, at some locations. I believe this is one but check ahead. I was there on a Sunday , so it wasn't that day. There is a quaint dining room and patio. I loved this place so much, I am looking regionally for all Staybridge's. This is my go-to lodging choice!

It's all in the IHG family, so I get all my points. This location is kinda weird off the back of a shopping center, not really in plain view, so use the GPS to get here! Staybridge has a free happy hour with food and drinks Mon, Tues, Wed evenings. FREE BEER! The breakfast food is pretty bad compared to Holiday Inn Express where I usually stay. The eggs tasted like a dry mix, the potatoes were soggy. The sausage was just OK. You can eat in the dining room or take the food back to you room and eat in private. The social hour food, I've had better at other locations. This was just pathetic the offerings. The meatballs were weird and sour and the other evenings food wasn't much better. THe coffee was good and hot though. My room was just fine, I got a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom king suite. No cooking on this trip, but you could if you wanted. The room was clean and no creepy crawly thingies or stray hairs in the bed not of my color! Everything worked as it should, the WiFi was decent and I could stream Netflix onto the big screen TV from my laptop. I might pick one of nearby Holiday Inn Expresses next time.

I have been so miserable here and I'm not a miserable human. I was given my room number, no direction of where to go. I walked outside and I realized real quick. I was not gonna know where to go because where are you going to? It's almost like a dorm at a college. I had to walk back into the hotel to ask where am I supposed to go and it was explained that I do go through that area which had letters no numbers. I am supposed to have a balcony that is non existent. The bed has springs in it. Really horrible. I am in so much pain. Just want to cry. I've tried to contact Priceline and booking this is not ok to lie about the location etc. When I opened up the door it was the worse smell to man kind. I can't explain it but this place is so old and it smells like a bar. Cigarette smell and they have a bunch of plug-in, smell things which make it even worse. Super cool, nice, friendly and above and beyond what any normal good employee would to ensure each and every guest was taken care of and happy. Even allowed me to borrow his personal phone charger when I forgot mine at home. He had great recommendations of things to do in the area and an over all wonderful personality that made you want to just sit and chat with him all day because he was so personable and helpful. It is around 10PM, I ask the woman at the front desk (apparently named Keila or Keyla? - they don't…read morehave name tags... for obvious reasons) if I can have some toilet paper since we had run out and our room hadn't received service in the morning... and after a few rounds of interrogation about my full name and my room number and (almost) my social security number she reluctantly with soooooooooooo much attitude and eye roll hands me ONE single roll of almighty toilet paper. While shocked by her astonishing level of courtesy and respect towards guests I politely asked her "why only one? what if we run out again?"... And you guessed it right... with an amplified level of respect and showing even higher amount of decency she gives me a few more thorough rounds of eye roll and tells me "you are checking out tomorrow... so that's all you get!" Great job Comfort Inn to hire and let someone like her harass and bully your customers over a single roll of toilet paper.
