His team installed a new furnace vent cap that had blown off, sealed the storm collars, bases, and roof vents, and repaired cracked tile areas. The entire job was completed for $1,100, and the quality of the work was excellent. What impressed me most was that Nicholas didn't try to turn a repair into an unnecessarily expensive roofing project. He explained what needed to be done, charged a fair price, completed the work professionally, and took care of the actual problem. It is difficult to find contractors who combine good workmanship, fair pricing, honesty, and responsiveness, but Barnes N' Roofs delivered on all four. We did have urgency for an estimate because of the rain predicted to come this weekend and week. I called three different roofing companies and Alex came out the same day. I never even got a call back from other two places. Ever since that first visit Alex has been a fantastic communicator. His crew came out and replaced the roof and vents in one day. His other crew came to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They even hung a new gutter/spout by the front door entrance and told me it would be no charge. Alex also personally replaced our hail-damaged screens. Now for the icing on the cake. Because we chose impact resistant shingles we are eligible for a significant reduction in our homeowners insurance. Alex took care of all the paperwork and communicated directly with our insurance company to make that happen. THAT is customer service and blew me away when he told me he would do that.
