Tonight, we checked out Jigsy's BrewPub for their wing night and gave the hot, spicy bleu cheese and honey BBQ flavors a try. Overall, the wings were solid--crispy with a generous amount of sauce. A few were slightly overcooked, but still a good value for the price. We'd definitely recommend their wing night. We didn't try much else from the menu, but the dishes we saw on nearby tables looked tasty and well-prepared. The restaurant itself was clean, and even the water tasted fresh (no hint of chlorine, thankfully). Our server was friendly, though clearly juggling a lot of tables at once.

Having a Whiskey Barrel Stoudr while waiting for Our Rustico Double Crusted Pizza it comes stuffed with Pepperoni, Sausage, Cheese, Green Peppers, Mushrooms & Onions! Light and crispy crust highlights this overstuffed pizza with great flavors! I ordered the 12 cut just for the fact that it's worth having again for leftovers! Staff always warm and friendly and provide excellent service. Not your typical Italian Restaurant but still an excellent BrewPub! They are boasting the best EmWings that may be for next time!

Traveling this weekend, stopped into Jigsy's brewpub for dinner. Not knowing the area, I turned to Yelp in hopes of finding a good dinner. It's a pretty casual atmosphere, small interior with big back patio. There only seemed to be two waitstaff on duty, they did the best they could for being short handed. I won't complain about that. They had a big mixed drinks list, but only 6 or 7 beer options, at least that the waitress could list from memory. I got a Buffalo chicken stromboli, which was ok, large, but kind of basic for fillings, just Buffalo chicken, and cheese...didn't seem to be any other fillings. Worth checking out if in the area

Flatbread meat lovers with extra mushrooms added into the toppings.

So I decided to stretch my legs and walked around the neighborhood where we are staying at an airbnb in Enola. It looked nondescript but I saw two guys walking out holding a pizza box so I figured why not? First thing I noticed was there was a sitting area outside, a bar on the deck and as you enter the foyer, one of the young ladies said to sit anywhere I like. Very casual place. I noticed that there's been like about 5 patrons who already walked in to pick up their order in the last 15 minutes I've been there. Seems like it's a popular place among locals for pizza. There's also a couple of old folks sitting by the bar and they seem to have a good time. Music is typical in a pub, loud enough but not too loud to interrupt conversation or phone calls. Pretty clean place, interior and furniture is consistent with the exterior color scheme which is dark. Dana who was my server gave good information and was helpful in helping me decide what to have. I finally settled for a flat bread meatlovers with mushrooms thrown in as an extra request. Pizza came out fast, fresh and loaded. They didn't scrimp with the toppings so it has value for your money. Very friendly and attentive so service is on point. Wasn't able to use their toilet but I'll update everything when I do get the chance. Would be back to also check out their other menu with hubby.

Cotton candy drink for kids. Fancy!

I came here with my son on a day his school was closed. He had never tried old forge-style pizza, so I thought this would be a neat place to go for lunch. Our server was very friendly and super cool with my son asking for different things to drink. They have drink concoctions for children and he tried the cotton candy drink first. It was an impressive beverage and tasty! We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were good, but the breading was a little spicy. We got three cuts of red with pepperoni for my son and three of double white for me. The red was very good and the pepperoni was plentiful. The double white was very filling, but didn't have as much flavor as pizza I've had in the old forge area. Some places in Scranton add onion on top and a little more herbs/spices and I like that better than plain. They have a nice draft beer list and plenty of seating. The prices are reasonable and the menu has plenty of options.

It was clear from the beginning that our server was a little overwhelmed. The table next to us got up and walked out because they were waiting too long. That being said, the pizza was worth the wait. This is a great example of Old Forge style pizza you simply don't find anywhere else in this part of the state. Don't sleep on the wings, which are also very good. The house brewed beers are just ok. Cocktails excellent. Would definitely come back, maybe during a less busy hour.

We went to Jigsy's last night with some other family members for dinner. We ordered the Buffalo chicken bread as an appetizer which was very good. Myself and my brother-in-law got the special which was a slow roasted beef sandwich. The roll was toasted and it was delicious. My brother-in-law agreed. My wife got the Greek salad with the parmigiana ranch. The salad and dressing were great. My son got wings which I tried one. He loved them! They were crispy, meaty, and cooked perfectly. The rest of my party were all very happy with their cheesesteak, meatball sub, and old forge pizza. I saw someone had a rustic pizza on the way out and it looked fantastic. That will definitely be on the list for the next visit, The service was quick and very good. We will definitely be back.

It's very family/little kid-friendly. We come here after church most Sundays. Whenever extended family visits from out-of-town, they ask to come here. The food is excellent and the staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is chill. It's a good spot for watching games and just relaxing with friends and family. I'll let the photos say the rest, as our girls really enjoy Pizza Boy. Our toddler yells "pizza?!" whenever we drive by. My husband loves their beer, and they have great cider and NA options as well!

Visited on a beautiful January Tuesday around 5pm -- prime "let's grab a casual slice and a drink"…read moretime. Ordering was simple enough. We grabbed three pizza slices -- bacon cheeseburger, meat lovers, and buffalo chicken ($5.25 each), two bottled waters ($2.89 each), and two adult beverages from the cooler: a Wynridge Cider Co. Pumpkin Spice cider I had been wanting to try and a Pizza Boy Mangoes Hazy IPA ($5.50 each). One small surprise on the bill was a mysterious 4.80% service fee (in our case, $1.57). I assume this covers table service since the staff brings the food out rather than calling your name. Not a huge issue, just something to be aware of when budgeting your visit. Total came to $35.67. Let's talk pizza. The pizza itself was perfectly fine -- hot, well topped, and satisfying enough for a quick meal. But compared to other local spots serving really strong pizza, the pricing felt noticeably higher...about $2 more per slice (sometimes more depending on the comparison). And while the pizza was good, I personally didn't find anything that set it apart enough to justify the difference. I finished one slice and could have easily gone for dessert afterward, but after the slice pricing, I didn't even bother looking at the dessert case. Sometimes the wallet makes decisions before the stomach does. The Pizza Boy Mangoes Hazy IPA was the highlight for me -- bright mango flavor, smooth, and light enough that I could absolutely see having more than one if that's your vibe. Parking was easy with spots right out front, plus additional signage pointing to nearby overflow parking if needed. Overall, the experience was...fine. Nothing bad, nothing frustrating, just nothing particularly memorable either. I ate pizza. I had a cider. And then I left. Their slogan is "Pizza. Beer. Happy." For me, it landed somewhere closer to: Pizza. Beer. Content.

Revolutionary Hot Sauce Brew Pub - A Solo Valentine's Win…read more I took myself out on a Valentine's Day date this year and decided to try Revolutionary Hot Sauce Brew Pub after seeing it on social media. I'd heard good things about their hot sauces (and that they'd been featured on Hot Ones), so I figured it was time to see what the hype was about. I went in without a specific plan--just knew everything I saw online looked incredible. I ended up asking the guy behind the counter (who I later realized was the owner) whether I should go with the habanero chili dog or the hot habanero pork burger. I've never had a pork burger before, so I was a little hesitant--but I deferred to his recommendation. Absolutely the right call. The pork burger with the habanero sauce was so good. Perfect balance of heat and flavor--not just spicy for the sake of being spicy. And the fresh-cut fries? Exactly what you want them to be: hot, crisp, and clearly made with care. The space itself is a low-key micro pub--casual, relaxed, exactly what you'd expect--but that doesn't make it any less special. The place oozes passionate startup energy. There's a whole shelf of custom hot sauces with creative names, a thoughtfully designed menu, and you can just feel that this is someone's vision brought to life. The owner was out talking to customers, genuinely enthusiastic about what he's building. That kind of energy elevates a place from "good food" to "great experience." Highly recommend. You can tell this is a labor of love--and it shows in every detail

I stopped in on a chilly, windy January Friday around 5:30pm and immediately felt at home. There were maybe five people total inside--three at the bar and one couple in the dining room. It was quiet, no too-bright lights, and warm. Cozy. Calm. Very much my vibe. I was handed a menu, told I could sit anywhere, and instructed to head to the order station when I was ready. As I perused the menu, I found myself in a familiar internal conflict: I really wanted the Smoked Beef Tri Tip & Burrata sandwich, but I also really wanted a smash burger instead of sliced beef. So naturally, I decided to test the limits of the universe. I gathered my courage, went to the order station, and told the man taking my order that I appreciated him entertaining what I was about to say because I was trying to break reality just a little. Then I asked: "Can I get the Smoked Beef Tri Tip & Burrata...without the tri tip...and with a smash burger instead?" Without missing a beat, he replied, "Well, I have to tell you--we're actually out of the tri tip, so...sure! We're going to confuse the guy in the kitchen, but let's do it." A million out of ten stars! Total for this beautiful nonsense: $16. I upgraded my fries to black truffle fries for $2 (as one does) and added a Diet Coke for $2.75. With tip, my total came to $25--very reasonable for the experience I was about to have. I returned to my seat and soaked in the atmosphere. A few minutes later, Order Station Man reappeared to let me know they were out of the bacon jam sauce that was supposed to go on my sandwich--but offered to whip up something similar if that was okay. YES. Always yes. Thank you for offering a solution instead of a shrug. This is a huge win in my book! While I waited, more folks filtered in and joined the couple seated near me. They clearly knew each other, and after a bit of chatting, someone called the group to order and they all introduced themselves. That's when I realized I had unknowingly scored dinner-and-a-show: a Dungeons & Dragons meetup. I ate my burger while listening to character introductions. Zero complaints. And the food? Exactly what I hoped for. The smash burger was a perfect, smaller patty--ideal size for me--loaded with creamy burrata on a fluffy roll. I quickly finished the entire thing, which is the highest compliment I can give. Midway through my meal, Order Station Man appeared again--this time holding a bowl of black truffle fries--and apologized for initially sending regular fries. I hadn't even noticed (I was focused on the smashburger spectacular!) or said a word, but he fixed it anyway. And I'm so glad he did because these truffle fries were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Crispy, flavorful, and officially added to my "I need fries from this place" list. Despite a few wrinkles (which were all handled beautifully), this was a genuinely great experience. Friendly staff, flexible kitchen, cozy atmosphere, and food that delivered. Highly recommend. Parking could be tricky at peak times, but I parked across the street in the old bank lot without issue. Revolutionary Eatery & Brewpub understands hospitality--and apparently also understands my very specific sandwich dreams.

But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. I retired from drinking a long time ago, and I discovered that they make one heck of a "virgin Mary"! (a bloody Mary without the alcohol. ) Rich and tangy. For food, I started with the goat cheese, strawberry salad. Spinach, strawberries, almonds, goat cheese, and red onion, with a poppyseed vinaigrette. I ordered the "starter" portion, and it was huge! The spinach, strawberries, and onion were very fresh, I loved the almonds, the goat cheese was creamy, and had a fantastic Tang to it, and the poppyseed vinaigrette was creamy and delicious. I also ordered a cup of the gumbo, and it was also a very decent sized portion. The rice was just the right texture, it was rich, and it had just a little bit of a zip to it. Very, very good. I was pretty much stuffed from dinner, but I had to try the caramel croissant bread pudding for dessert. That too, was a very decent sized portion, the bread pudding was very savory, and the ice cream and caramel just played so perfectly off of it. This was an absolutely fantastic meal. I had made a reservation, which made it easy for us to come in and grab a seat. We came in at 7:30pm and it was busy but not crowded. Overall, I would say that the food is decently good for the most part, however the kitchen and service was a bit wild. If I remember correctly from the previous year that I was here, the service was really slow, but last year it was crowed and packed. So I had thought it would've been because how busy the restaurant was....however, coming back again, I would say that they're just slow. Period. Other than our orders, things just kept getting messed up again and again. One thing that's confusing is that the on-line allegory menu is NOT consistent with what they tell you IN PERSON for the allergy alerts. All that to say, things that didn't have egg or dairy allergy (for my child) on-line had allergies when asked in person....confusing. But we had ordered food based off of the on-line menu for it to come back and say it had an allergy...so we changed our order. The apps and the kids food came out first, but the first order still came out and then we sent it back. Then the new order came "rushed" (but 15 min later) incorrectly AGAIN, and "rushed" for us to finally get our order for our kid only for it to come out incorrectly AGAIN. So it only took FOUR times and the communication wasn't there. Super frustrating at 8:30pm waiting for my kid to eat. WILD times (also nothing was done to mitigate this chaos). We had also asked for our broccoli to NOT be soggy but..,you guess it, it arrived soggy and we've been through so many back and fourth we didn't bring it up As for our food when we finally got it 45 - 50 min later.... Our main course adult meals were the pub burger with fries and Baja fish tacos with salad. The burger was pretty good, not dry but juicy and flavorful. The pretzel bun was decent, slightly better than Costcos, and the combo of the flavors were pretty good! Overall, solid burger with good flavors 4/5! Their fries in general are pretty lame, not crunchy and little flaccid and soft, not seasoned well either. Just meh, 2.5/5 The fish tacos were actually good, the fish was battered well with a great crisp and decent amount of fish inside and the sauce and toppings made it great. I probably could've gotten an extra one added to it as they were a little smaller in portion. Overall 4/5! The side salad was a little lame. Normal salad, 3/5. We got two appetizers the Philly cheesesteak rolls and pretzel sticks. Both were good! The cheesesteak rolls had a good crunch to it and decent amount of meat inside, I'd pair with the white sauce more than the red sauce but both kind of worked. 4/5! The pretzel sticks were good! The cheese and the mustard (a bit on the stronger mustard side) paired well with them. Pretzels were soft and had good amount of salt on them. 3.5/5 Overall, the food is good and have some good options, but with the service and how SLOW and how much of a headache the back and fourth is the orders were, I'm honestly not sure if it's worth the hassle for the food. And there was no FOH or anyone apologizing or comping anything. Kind of disappointing tbh.
