Prices are insane and they try to pressure you to buy every service. Simple oil change take a them FOREVER

They tried to upsell me on absolutely every service I got. Yeah the end of my tire rotation he told me my hubcaps might fall off and that I didn't need them: if they did fall off I could just get new ones. Two days later- two hubcaps gone. Read the reviews, they are true. I went in for an oil change and returned to a $175 bill. They added an air filter and tire rotation without even asking. Later when I went to the store to see if it was common practice to add services without asking, I was told this was done by their District Manager. I was told he would call me. Never did. This is very shady business practice. What would have happened if I didn't pay for it because I didn't authorize it? read more

Will NEVER come back!! I came in there today got in line there was no guidance to which line to get into two other cars have been waiting there ahead of me. Somebody was doing brakes in one of the base which was causing a backlog in the line. .. after 45 minutes of waiting they brought my jeep vehicle into the bay getting ready to change oil etc. and one of the attendants came out and asked me if there was another vehicle ahead of me and I said yeah we pulled up about the same time I think he was ahead of me but in the other bay.... He then instructed me that I had to have my vehicle pulled out of the bay and he was going to be done first and then I would come to follow I got no apology just told this was Jiffy Lube's policy and I had to go along with this.. I disagreed strongly said no I'm not going to do that you either do my vehicle now or I'm leaving .. at which time there was no disagreement on there end and they took my vehicle out of the bay and I left... This is extremely poor customer service no apologies they use the excuse we are short of staff offered me no compensation ... will never waste my time in a jiffy lube ever again Chuck read more

Even though I'm 100% sure I have never been here before they pretended like they knew me and it was weird. They also tried to upsell the heck out of everything. Felt sleazy... it was $100 for an oil change and a new windshield wiper. It was raining and I really, really needed the windshield wiper. I went Into jiffy lube last week and received an oil change on my car. When arriving to jiffy lube, my car was in good shape just needed an oil change. Once I left from the oil change, I notice my tire sensor was going off. Not thinking anything about it, I proceeded on about my day. Mind you my tire was fine prior to my arrival. I drive out of town this past weekend and notice pulling on my front left side. I check the tire, boom there it is huge knot in my tire. I believe this was done by a worker on purpose. After speaking with the owner NOTHING was done. I will never go back to another jiffy lube in my life. read more

I recently visited my local Jiffy Lube in Waterloo, IA (San Marnan Dr) to get an oil change. They pulled my vehicle in and the attendant (Destiney) notified me that I was premature. I still had 1400 miles to go before my next oil change. She and the manager wee very polite and courteous. We laughed about my mistake and they checked everything out and sent me on my way. I have always been treated kindly at Jiffy Lube and I would like to thank Destiney for her kind guidance and warm sense of humor. read more

They need to put those paper mats on the floor of your car before they get in your car to move it. My drivers side floor mat is completely ruined with big oil stains from the bottom of their shoes. I brought this to the managers attention about the oil stains. They used to be under different management and when I first started going there over 15 years ago they always put down some protective paper so there would be no stains from their shoes. Also, the guy at the desk really was not knowledgeable. The tech guys put something on the screen about my coolant. I asked him what this was and if I needed to fill it. He told me I didn't need to fill it and he didn't know what the coolant was even for. I asked him to get a manager and she said yes, it needs to be filled and explained to me why. He was texting on his phone almost the entire 30 minutes I was there. But, yes, there is more....in the end the manager ( who was very nice) said that someone had put that on the screen by accident and I do not need any coolant. All in all I would have to say that this place has definitely gone downhill from when I first started getting my oil changed here. Something as simple as making sure that you don't get oil stains on someone's car mats should be basic respect. I had to throw mine away. That oil cannot be cleaned with soap and water. I am not sure that I will be using their service again after 15 years of going there. read more
