Absolutely fantastic! We just moved into the area recently from more Central San Antonio and I'm so happy we found this place. From start to finish, everybody was very professional, very thorough and was just an overall excellent experience! I was immediately greeted as soon as my car came around by a very kind and courteous young man. The lady in charge, as well as the staff she was directing, kept me informed during the whole process and even noticed a few things that most oil changing places would have missed such as a small nail in my tire! Disappointing. I went in for an oil change and they told me I needed: new windshield wipers, brakes, and coolant. When I asked to see my windshield wipers they were fine. When I started asking about my brakes the story was suddenly flipped to "We can't do that today" but your brakes are okay. Also, they conveniently ran out of coolant they said I needed. I took it to another place and the brakes were fine. The coolant system was fine. The windshield wipers were also fine. It should also be mentioned that they wanted close to 40$ for the windshield wipers. Truly disappointing experience at this Jiffy Lube. Time to find some other business that won't try to screw coming and going. I have been a customer here for many years and won't be returning. read more

Always quick and courteous service. However, I must complain about their PRICES! An oil change is now $40!!!! They will wipe down the outside of your windows and mirrors with a dirty rag and top off SOME of your fluids for you. Antifreeze/coolant is NOT included in the top off - they ask $8 to top it off. I think you can get a gallon of premixed fluid for that price or less! If you are going there for a state inspection make sure you check your blinkers, headlights, brake lights, and windshield wipers before you go. Bulb replacements are $7-$14 and wiper blades are $18 -$20. I guarantee that they will find a tear in your wiper blades and you will fail the inspection. It happened to me and also the next guy in line. DO NOT buy any replacement parts from them - save some coin and do it yourself. Luckily, I had new wiper blades at home so I went home, replaced them and came back and waited another 20 minutes for the re-inspection. I really think I am going to find another place to do my oil changes and state inspections in the future. read more

Very disappointed in the very poor service I received. I've been using this station for years and always received outstanding service. I received no greeting when I arrived and received no estimate of wait time for a vehicle inspection. I waited in my truck for 30 minutes and the line barely moved. I went into the garage to see what was happening. Two employees were working on a vehicle and all the others (approximately 4) were BSing and gave me attitude when inquiring about what was happening with the inspections since no one was working on the vehicles in line. They couldn't change the oil in my vehicle because they didn't have the oil filter tool they needed. They had the filter, however not the tool!! This was due to poor management and not the fault of an employee or the franchise. District manager AJ should be held accountable. I've tried contacting him, but of course, I get no response. From the moment I left my car I felt very safe, and cared for. The employee walked me to the waiting room and announced that there were customers on the floor. This last bit was especially important for me because my 5 year-old daughter was right behind me and there's an awful lot of equipment in there that can do some harm. The waiting room was nice and cozy and the coffee was hot. I thought it would take a long time with the amount of customers present, but I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Best place I'be been to. The employees really care about you and want what's best for your vehicle, I came in requesting an oil change and replacement of my air filter. They recommended the oil change but not the air filter change, apparently I have a K&N and didn't realize I can remove it and clean it myself, these employees are truly genuine, and honest! I've been a loyal customer at store# 3753 in Spring Branch since it opened it's doors and have always been impressed with the service and customer service. Unfortunately, such was not the case yesterday, 4/13/21when I brought my truck in for a safety inspection. It seems a new manager ( Michael R.) has been transferred to this location from another store. This person needs a good deal more training and some intensive supervision if he is going to be successful as a team leader. Please understand that the shop was not excessively busy during my visit, so this can not justify my totally unsatisfactory experience. I came in 9am Friday morning Nov 4 2021 to get my inspection done on my vehicle. While I sat in my truck to get the inspection I watched a "tech" pull a car into one of the bays at a higher than safe speed then abruptly stop. The car actually bounced over the ramps inside. A few minutes later a "tech" came over to me and asked for my insurance and for me to step out so he could pull my truck into the bay. I told him I prefer to pull it in myself. I explained what I just saw with the other vehicle and again said I'd pull it in. The "tech" told me if I don't like it I could leave. I left without hesitation. If your going to treat someone's vehicle that way and then talk to a customer like that then you aren't getting my business. There are plenty of these little oil change/inspection stations on Pat Booker Rd. I won't be going back to this one and if you've read this you probably shouldn't either. read more

There's a Keurig and supplies in the waiting room - nice touch, in lieu of candles and flowers and such and whatnot, since I feel like I just paid an exorbitant hourly charge to get bent over. I requested the oil change, v synthetic, and was quoted $79.99. A reminder that I *really* need to buy a book, Hit up the YouTube, whatever it takes and learn to complete this junk myself, but a pretty standard unsurprising figure nonetheless. Long story a little shorter, my main issue comes from the up selling tactics they use as soon as the car is pulled into the bay. ... "OK, ladybrained creature. ..look at this atrocious air filter! It's BAD.. (pushes almost entirely stark white air filter thingie toward me)...imagine how poorly your engine performs when it can't get enough clean air, and how much excess gas you use because of it ...can't believe you haven't been stranded by that already, but to prevent you from being stranded on the way home - you don't want that, do you? ?! - , we absolutely need to go ahead and make that change now. " No, I'm fine thanks. It looks good, and I'll do it myself in a few months if necessary. And I have USAA roadside assistance - the risk of imminent air filter catastrophe is one in totally comfortable with. Can we get that oil change started now please? (Shove a dipstick toward my face ) "Here, you smell that burny smell? ? We *really * need to change your power steering fluid. Did you drive in a completely straight line to get here or something? ? Amazing that your car still starts at all, given fluid that's as bad as yours is! " (I consider, because it really does smell burny, and I don't think it should, and I like curvy Hill Country Roads and not having to use elbow grease to stay on them and avoid a "Toonces, noooooo!!" type moment) "Go ahead and let me change that fluid for you. ..generally it costs $100, but if you say yes RIGHT NOW, *for you* I'll knock $25 off and do it for the low low price of $75. (Me: what is that? ) (...and I exaggerate not about his reply. ..this is seriously what he said lol) "It's *important* . It hasn't been addressed since last June. Let's go ahead and take care of that now. (But what IS the ASC-LMNO-PDQ??) "Oh...it's. .. (points at date next to alphabet soup on nearby computer screen) important, and definitely in need of service. I...ummm. .. (mumbles )I don't know. But we really should go ahead and take care of that now. " HAHAHA! I really should have just asked for my keys and left at that point. But I didn't. Sigh. I think they sensed the mental checkout on its way though, finally jettisoned the extraneous sales pitch, and got down to business. At eff'n LAST i got the requested oil change, paid an additional $20 for "extra oil " that no one told me they would be using, and made my way home. My car is vacuumed super nicely, and windows are extra clean now though. 10-15 minute oil change. How does Walmart take 45 mins to an hour? I never got that. Anyway, Jiffy Lube first tried selling me new in-cabin and air filters. Thanks for your concern, but I don't like the attempt to sell me anything other than what I'm there for. The guy was quick to talk, all business, and don't really care to be friendly. That's fine. My $20 (that's with a coupon. Regular price was $40= pricey) oil change ended up being ~$28 cuz the $8 labor charge. $8 for 15 minutes.....must be nice. I stopped into the JL on Pat Booker in Universal City, they were able to take my car straight in to a bay. I told the technician I needed my oil and filter change, and I needed my tires checked my tire pressure low light was on. Upon completion of the job, the mileage on the paperwork was wrong, the sticker as to when my next oil change should be was not replaced, and my tire low light was still on. The technician prepared the sticker for my windshield and had to redo it with the correct future mileage. The tires he insisted were filled, and I just needed to drive the car. I drove over 20 miles with no change in my tire low light, so today took my car to a tire dealership all tires were at 29 psi. I'm very sure they were not checked last night. They are fast about doing oil changes and good about checking all filters. But not always best at telling what is wrong with your car. My a/c would make noise and the guy that did my oil change said the fan was lose. But when I went to check myself the fan was perfectly fine. It was the a/c motor. read more

Worse experience ever and I will never go back. Took my vehicle that I drive once a year for an inspection and the inspector was clearly making up stuff to try and fail me. He claimed what he wanted to fail me for was written but could never produce any legit information. I have had the vehicle for 10 years and never failed an inspection.
