I had called the "local" number and spoke to a man about a state inspection for my truck. He told me (at 10:30 AM) that his inspection guy was there till 12. I said I could be there in 15 to 20 minutes. would that be OK. He said yes, and there was currently a 20 minute wait. I asked him if he was actually at the location, because it sounded like a call center. He said yes this is the Maple Avenue location. He was lying and I wasted my time going there because when I arrived, I was told there was no one available that day to do inspections, and they had not received any calls yet that day. Thank God I didn't drive a half hour to get there, and was able to go to Jiffy Lube to get my inspection. I will never use Valvoline again.

Gas prices in Ballston Spa are competitive, better than all the surrounding areas. The gas prices here are a bit higher than in the village of Ballston Spa, but competitive among the nearby stations. Perhaps they can get away with that because they participate in the Price Chopper program.
