People could write, "They fixed this or that for me", but I'm not sure what that tells you. But THIS should mean the most to you - I found Ryan's Garage (now owned by Lee), about 20 years ago and I would never consider going elsewhere. Why ? Because they have never done any work on my cars that wasn't absolutely necessary. How many mechanics can you say that about? If you cannot say that about your mechanic, you need to come to Lee.
Here is a specific example from this week - My 23-year-old Volvo S40 showed signs of a broken steering pump. It went very quickly from OK, to making a slight noise, to acting like you'd need gorilla strength to steer the car. I added steering fluid and called Lee to say I think I needed a new steering pump. Estimate = $581 (+ tax). OK. He had to order the pump. A week later I am at the garage. They look at the pump and concluded that it only needed the fluid I added and a bit more. I wondered how that could be, given how quickly it went from OK to BAD. He said, "Probably you lost fluid slowly until it got to a point where it was sucking air. That's why it seemed like you all of a sudden lost all your fluid." I asked him what I owed him. "NOTHING". Are you kidding me? He ordered the part and he spent at last a half hour looking the car over. If he had told me "$100" or even more, I would have thought that perfectly reasonable. But he charged me NOTHING. How can you do better than that?
I have other stories, but that one was from this week and should be enough for you to get a good idea about Lee and Ryan's Garage. read more
