John is the owner and he will give it to you straight if something needs fixing or not. I've been taking my car, my wife's car, my two kids cars there for the past 25 years. They are so easy to talk to and when I have a problem with my cars, I either take my car to them (call them first because they have so much business) or have it towed by AAA (which has been done many times). I leave it, they check it out and when they find what the problem is, they call you to tell you and tell you the price. If you want it done, they will do it but they won't work on it until they get permission from you. I have a clear head when I take my cars to them. I don't worry about nothing. I bought a 1999 Honda Civic back in 2000 with 18,000 miles on it from John Lant who used to own the dealership there. After 297,000 miles, the guys could not do anything more for my car. Yes, it finally died with the original clutch in it. These guys don't work weekends. Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. That is how good their business is. If you have a problem with your car, take it to Relia-Tech and put your mind at ease. They don't rip anyone off to make an extra buck. They don't work that way. They have been like this even before "social media" and we all know that it can make you or break you. Thank God they are only 10 minutes away from my house. Liars with misinformation wasting my time. I was told I could come in to get an inspection and when…read moreI arrived, I was informed that that the inspector guy "is not here today". I had called the "local" number and spoke to a man about a state inspection for my truck. He told me (at 10:30 AM) that his inspection guy was there till 12. I said I could be there in 15 to 20 minutes. would that be OK. He said yes, and there was currently a 20 minute wait. I asked him if he was actually at the location, because it sounded like a call center. He said yes this is the Maple Avenue location. He was lying and I wasted my time going there because when I arrived, I was told there was no one available that day to do inspections, and they had not received any calls yet that day. Thank God I didn't drive a half hour to get there, and was able to go to Jiffy Lube to get my inspection. I will never use Valvoline again.
