Very disappointing experience. I put a $500 deposit down on a vehicle and was approved, but since the payment was higher than expected, I asked my sales representative for one day to think about it. After discussing it with my fiancé, we decided to move forward and purchase the vehicle the next day. When we called back, we were told it had already been sold. I understand that vehicles can sell quickly, but it's extremely frustrating that a car can be sold after a deposit was already placed and while I was given time to make a decision. In fact, I was told, "We ask for a $500 deposit and it ensures that we won't sell the car out from under you." That clearly wasn't the case, and it doesn't feel like good business practice. They did offer me a different vehicle, but it was my least favorite color. I asked about other color options available but they said they were at their Plattsburgh location. They said I would have to travel there myself and complete a whole new application, basically starting from scratch. I completely wasted my time. Completely regret my purchase. Nothing but issues since day 1. Electrical keeps going out. Low tire pressure day 2. Large scratch uncovered after washing my car. Noise from front left driver side tire area now. No response to any of my inquiries unless I come to the dealership. Maybe you'll have a good experience if you buy brand new. Watch out if you buy a used car. Firmly starting to believe they reconditioned the car just enough to mask concerns until you get home. I love the vehicle and they gave me a great deal on it . Between Della Honda and Della Cadillac I have purchased four vehicles in 5 years this was the first time I bought a used car instead of new and it was not a pleasant experience this time when it came to delivery. I specifically asked that they check for all scratches when they cleaned the car and please fix them it was important to me . The car was not ready when I got there we had to wait another 50 minutes and when I went out to look at it the scratches I pointed out had been fixed but there was more that they did not. I was told by one person. Can't expect it to be perfect and told by another that I should bye a new car if I want it perfect . I told them I gave you a three year old car with no scratches so why would I want to buy one with scratches especially when I told you how important it was. Finally they took it back in side and fixed the obvious scratches. Then I was rushed thru the over view of the car functionality because the sales man had another delivery to do. I'll start off with the good part first. My salesman, Matt Cowled was terrific. He was knowledgeable, honest and a pleasure to work with through my entire experience. If every other dealer besides Della goes out of business and you're required to buy a vehicle here Matt is the guy to ask for. Now for the fun part... I ordered a truck back in October of 2021. As we all know nothing is quick these days so it finally came in at the end of May 2022. All was well throughout the ordering and waiting process. I was quoted $31k for my trade in February with the understanding that the value would likely go down some due to putting more miles on my vehicle. Understandable. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when my new truck arrives. At this time, 4 months after my $31k quote I am offered $21k for my trade in. That is $10k less! Nothing different with my truck besides the expected extra miles. This was the work of the General Sales Manager Micheal Tonks. He obviously knew I wasn't leaving my without my new truck and figured it was a great opportunity to low ball me. When I told him I would be selling my truck elsewhere he attempted to sell my new truck that I ordered 8 MONTHS AGO to someone with "a better trade in". Then proceeded to demand I tell him who was buying my vehicle for fair market value. To top it all off they charged me $400 to swap my new wheels before I picked up the vehicle. For reference, Walmart charges $25/tire for this work. The exciting experience of buying a brand new vehicle turned out to be stressful and unpleasant due to Micheal Tonks. DO NOT BUY FROM DELLA. Let's see we're do I start, payed my 60,000$ next day the brain in the truck died the next week it fell asleep and wouldn't wake up, and let's not talk about how the transmission slams into gear some days and practically gives you whiplash. Sure buying a GMC is a piece of cake, and aren't they all great at helping you, and telling you what a great deal you got and what a wonderful truck you just got, makes you feel a warm and fuzzy inside. Then comes service when you have to drive an hour one way and hope that that didn't overbook, or they weren't quite clear on the the date, or how long it would take, while you wait in this cubicle with 4 maybe 5 chairs that are full of people maybe thinking the same thing, how long is this going to take? Or maybe they're thinking why did I buy a GMC? why did I go to D'ella just because you've bought your last 6,7 or more vehicles from them over the last 20 years. One of the most effortless car purchase experiences I have ever had. I was comparing leases for Rav 4, Honda CRV and GMC Terrain, They applied no pressure as I left to test drive another vehicle. Pricing was comparable for all 3 but I chose the Terrain SLT for its style, quality drive and upgraded options ( but mostly for its heated steering wheel ). Van Chakalis, my sales rep, was great to work with as was Ron the businesses manager. Not once did I feel pressured, condescended or ignored. I have used Della Honda for all my service needs previously and look forward to the same level of service from Della GMC. Since my last review, see below, I received a telephone call from Eric the Sales Manager to resolve the issue. This is particularly impressive since the situation occurred in the service department and not the sales department. It speaks to his commitment to the dealership and the satisfaction of their customers. Needless to say, Eric and Paul, who both work in the sales department, are amongst the best sales reps that I have come across at a dealership. They sold me 2016 Escalade when I definitely wasn't shopping for a new vehicle, especially since I had just bought a new vehicle, Toyota, the day prior. As a result I am updating my previous review and star rating. You pay $100k for a vehicle and they tell you when you purchase the vehicle that part of their perks is that you get free car washes. What they don't tell you is that the service staff acts like its a bother if you bring your vehicle in and that your car wash is basically dumping water on your car and not drying it. Rudeness and false promises of customer service should not be equated with Cadillac Premium Service! read more

I purchased a Cadillac cts from Della and have had nothing but problems. They sold me the car at night so I didn't get to see the scratches, but that's minor compared to the engine blowing up after about 2000 miles. They are rude and pushy after they make the sale. Now there's water inside my door and they won't do a thing about it. I'm finding out now that the car was in an accident, I asked they said it hadn't! Dont go there!!! Zero stars read more

I would never recommend this dealership. The owner clearly does not respect or care about his customers. We purchased 2 new vehicles in the past 24 months. We took our $48,000.00 truck to his garage as the wipers would not work in the winter. Had to driver 1 1/2 hours each way twice. The second time the garage did overt $600.00 damage to my truck. At first Anthony was going to pay for it but will not now. People know us well, another dealership keep calling my wife so she traded her car so we are done with Della Honda, my local dealership called me and told me they wanted to service my truck so we washed our hands of then and recommend you do also. They are the worst dealer I have ever experienced in quite some time. My 2015 $65,000 truck, that has 35,500 miles on it had a engine noise (knock) and I was told it was 'normal'. Had smell of antifreeze and they couldn't take the time to even due a 5 minute pressure test while it was still inside. I also told them the tailgate ez down/up was not working, the tailgate dropped like a rock. They tried to say it was caused by the factory tonneau cover being off center 1/8 inch on the top of the bed rails. They said 'you have to take it to the dealer who put it on and have it fixed' after showing them it had nothing to do with the tonneau cover, they finally agreed to order the parts for the tailgate. The only thing that was done was oil change and tire rotation and that took two hours without doing anything else. Took it to another REAL dealer and they were able to diagose the engine noise and pressure tested the cooling system, getting new radiator and thermostat, all in less than 30 minutes, plus ordered the tailgate parts as soon as I showed them what was going on with it. I took my truck to Della before when it had 7,500 miles on it for an vibration issue and they said 'take it to where you bought it from as there is not enough money from GMC to spend time to diagnose the issue ' I have bought 2 previous Seirra Denali's from Della before, Just not this one. I needed a tire rotation on my DTS. I informed the service rep. that the right front tire was loosing air pressure. The car work was completed. I asked about the tire in question and was told there was no puncture item found. I started my car and checked tire pressure display on dash, all 4 tires had different pressures from 28 lbs. to 33 lbs. I'm not happy with service. I drove an hour to my dealer for a recall repair problem which was fixed. But my tire is still loosing air, they put the tires on about 7000 miles ago. I will go somewhere else. read more

Worst place to have service done because they try to rip you off. Every time I've been there I was told I needed work done that wasn't needed. The last time I was there I was told that me car "desperately needs front brakes, it's $439 and we'll have it done for you today". The problem for them is my car had just been to a Cady dealer in Columbus, GA the week before and the brakes had just been inspected and were fine. In fact they gave me a complete inspection report stating that the brakes were at 5mm. After picking up my car from Della I inspected them myself and sure enough, there was still about half of the brake pads. Never again am I going to Della. read more

I purchased a car from D'ELLA. I bought this vehicle from this dealership because I thought this was a reputable dealership. The car was over 40K and I was told that the car had no problems. I drove the car for less than a week and noticed that the DVD player in the car was broken. I had to drive an hour out of my way to go get it checked out. I was told I would have to come back another day in order to get it replaced. I had to make two trips to Queensbury to get the first problem fixed. Now a few weeks later the car had another problem. I went back to the dealership and was told that it not only had that issue but the navigation was in need of updating, the wipers were needing replacement, and etc. I am very disappointed with this dealership. If I knew this was the type of service I would be receiving from this dealership, I could have payed less money for the same car and bought it from somewhere else. read more
