Apparently under new management, I think the old management was better. 3 people tried to change my cabin filter, one sat on my leather seats and got oil on it. I watched a YouTube video for 10 seconds got the cabin filter opened up easy. They then proceed to put the filter in wrong so I put it in the correct way. I also asked if they had Pennzoil platinum EURO 0w-20 they told me yes and they would put it in for me. Welp turns out they put Pennzoil Platinum 0w-20, so now if I ever have any engine problems my vehicle warranty could be voided. read more

I went to this location on Sunday, September 18, 2022. The manager Malik offered me a "special deal" if I paid cash. He preferred the cash app but also directed me toward a near by ATM. When we questioned him he had several excuses about the register being slow. He tried to give a $30 discount to encourage us to take the cash option. I acted as if I were leaving to get cash. I went to another Jiffy Lube store instead where he had already called them with the make and model of my car to try and back track on his story and cover his tracks. read more

I've been a long-time (20-plus years) and loyal JL customer. I appreciate the convenience, efficiency, fairness, and cleanliness of the locations I have patroned. As a relatively new Georgia resident, I believe I have visited the Alpharetta Highway location on 3 occasions, including this past weekend for an oil change. It was an unusually warm, rainy, dreary day when I arrived and, with no other customers, I was greeted immediately. I was ushered through the garage and into the service waiting area. In previous visits, it seemed like I was carefully and deliberately guided through an orderly garage ("Watch your step.") to the customer space in a way that felt, for lack of a better word, protective. Now this is a business open primarily for oil changes which can be a messy job. I get it. On this visit, however, navigating the brief steps into the waiting area, the spillage seemed excessive and everywhere, including the front of the business where I exited almost as soon as I arrived within 15 minutes later. With no paper mats, needless to say, I was taking with me a bit more oil than I bargained for. In departing, it was explained, "I spilled some oil on the manifold. You might smell it at first but it'll burn off. I didn't want you to think, 'What the hell did they do?'" And, finally, the place reeked of cigarette smoke--outside and in. Also excessive. The employee then went into a super hard sales pitch for the "super" synthetic oil for only $99 and could only explain the difference in recommended timeframe for next oil change I don't mind being up-sold (once) but this was over the top. Went in around 1PM on Sunday. I was serviced by store owner and manager Ashley and a technician Malik. I bought a groupon for $33 to have a regular oil change which came with a tire rotation, rain-x windowshield, and a car vacuuming! Malik talked me into upgrading to Ultra Platinum synthetic oil so now I don't have to get an oil change for another 10,000 miles!!! They answered any questions I had and explained in great detail. DO NOT GO HERE. Went for routine oil change. They drained my transmission fluid instead of my oil. Then double filled my oil. My transmission was slipping on my way home with my baby in the car. When I reported it to them, they wanted me to drive my car back to the shop. I refused, as I didn't want to further damage my transmission. So they came to my house and added a little transmission fluid and changed the oil claiming everything was fine now. I immediately took my car to the dealership for inspection only to find out it was still low in transmission fluid. Not only did they almost ruin my car, the put my life and my child's life in danger.... TWICE! Corporate has been less than helpful as well. Please don't go here! read more

This is our new service location! We brought in our Nissan Titan for an emission test, oil change, brake check and an overall scan before we left for a 1,300 mile road trip. The team was fantastic to say the least. They completed the scan and came back quickly with results including recommendations for what needed to be addressed immediately and others items for the future. This was appreciated as it ensured anything that could become an issue on the road was taken care of, but saved us from spending unnecessarily before a vacation. We were headed to the mountains of north Georgia for Labor Day weekend in my wife's Honda Pilot at 6pm on Friday. The check engine light came on and this Jiffy Lube was the closest open place. The manager checked the error code, determined it was likely because the oil was low, checked it and found it was incredibly low even though the car said 40% oil life was remaining. Manager topped us off and refused to take payment or even a tip. Just incredibly nice. read more

I came to this location at 8am (when their door says they open) for an oil change. Nobody was there. Somebody finally came rolling in around 8:17 and unlocked the door, saw me walking up and tried to close and re lock the door instead of speaking to me. I caught him and asked for an oil change and he said "no, my crew won't be here for at least another hour, you'll have to come back later." Incredibly unprofessional. You open when your hours say you open, not at your leisure. read more

I have been a long time jiffy lube customer. I went to the location previously and have had a decent experience. I went to get an oil change there today. There were no customers there when I arrived. 2 employees sat there talking to each other for about 3 minutes before even coming over to me. They did the oil change, but didn't do the vacuuming or window cleaning that is suppose to be included within the oil change, yet on the receipt it said they did it. Plus when I got in my car and started it the oil service reset had not been done and when I got back out and told them the employee said he didn't know how to do it and I should just google it. My door and steering wheel was oily when I got in and the person who checked me out seemed put out to even have to be helping me. I don't know if management changed or what but I will not be going back to this location. read more

Had the oil changed here for my Honda Accord. A day or so later, I noticed a pool of oil under the car in the garage. Took it my usual repair place and they said that the oil plug was stripped and wouldn't tighten. Since it's an old car, I have to give Jiffy Lube the benefit of the doubt and assume that it was already stripped. However, they really should have told me that it wouldn't tighten. Went to have an emissions test done and through in an oil change to boot. The emissions test passes except for a sensor that had just been reset from a service at a dealership I use. The technician told me the vehicle would just need to be drivin for 100 miles and come back in and there would be no charge. All sounds good right. I told the manager who was ringing me up that I don't get off befor 6pm from work. He said that's no problem we do tests until 7pm. Well today finally got 100 miles on the vehicle, went to the location at 6:30 and the person In charge told me it was slow so he let the tech go home. I told him that his manager and the sign out front says you do emissions until 7pm. He said to me everyone deserves time off. I told him that he shouldn't advertise 7pm if the service wasn't going to be available. He told me that don't worry the test will still be free tomorrow. I told him he didn't understand, tomorrow the vehicle will be illegal to drive. So I guess I will have to go to this location for the last time and hope I don't get caught on the way. Was told an oil change would be $25 if I brought my own oil over the phone. Not awful considering they mark their synthetic oils up beyond reason. I should up and they tell me it's $36 instead. Logan, acted like he was doing me a favor when he said he would honor the $25 price. Whatever the oil needed to be changed so I said go for it. I watch him and 5 other guys check fluids and rotate tires on a car in front of me for 45 mins. (I also watched them over torque the lug nuts on that same car). After I realized they had no clue what they were doing I told them I was leaving. Most of the Jiffy Lubes in the SE have a pretty low standard but this one takes the cake. Find another place to go and don't let these amateurs touch your car. read more
