I don't get the negative reviews - but that's probably because for routine things like an oil change people don't take the time to write a good review, and only come online to complain. I've been bringing my car here for 4+ years & have never had a bad experience. I can always find a coupon online as well for about $30-35 off, which helps. I also get a tire rotation every time I get my oil changed. The staff is always friendly & I never wait too long. I once tried to save some money by going to Walmart and getting an oil change....well, long story short they cracked my oil pan & I ended up spending a lot more money than I would have if I just stuck to Jiffy Lube. I used your online estimator for an oil change, entered my exact year, make, and model of my car, received a $155 estimate. I called your store in Rocklin on Stanford Ranch Rd and asked them if I needed to bring the estimate or a hard copy of the coupon and Delia said no, a screen capture of the coupon code should be sufficient. When I arrived the 3 stooges were sitting outside doing nothing while 1 employee worked on a car. They said my car would be $194 because it required special BMW oil (which should have been accounted for in my original estimate). Rather than arguing with him I told him for $200 I was just going to go do it myself and he said fine. So your lazy staff can sit there and do nothing while your company loses business rather than addressing the bad estimate. Now you have wasted my time, my gas, and therefore my money so you will be receiving bad press here, and all over social media. To top it off your Jiffy Lube Service Center # is not obvious on your webpage (although the ammenities at this location are?!?) so screw you, I'm not trying to open a case. read more

Went into Jiffy Lube cause my maintenance light was on, when I arrived they were very speeding to help me. I explained that I had just gotten my oil changed two weeks ago. They looked in my vehicle's apps and found that I needed a tire rotation. Sweet! No. They started their work, I get an alert on my phone that a bill came out of my account. Despite being a little more than some other options, the coupons on the corporate website gave me more savings than the one on Yelp, and the corporate site had numerous other service coupons (which you could just pull up while you're there if they tell you that you need a new air filter or battery). Stopped by this morning to get an oil change and take advantage of $25 off coupon. After Mike the service writer went through the options decided on the $106 synthetic oil change option and after asking him specifically that was the price before the $25 discount which he said YES I was satisfied with that and went to the waiting room. While waiting overheard him saying yah " I work with a bunch of 25 year olds" obviously meant to disparaged the team was a little concerned. The checkout came and was asked for $106 if explained no I was quoted $106 before the $25 dollar Jiffy Lube coupon. Amelia asked did I get an "estimate" which I said no. Noone had proved or offered me that. She quickly went to ask someone in the bay for clarification and upon return said oh maybe he was talking about a mail in coupon. Quickly at the cashier's desk an estime was printed out but obviously a little too late. I was never told this and forced to pay the $106. I feel incredibly misled by my experience. I've had our cars serviced at this location for at least a decade, always with good service and professional employees. It has gone from an outstanding rating to fail over the past year. It took nearly 1.5 hours to change oil while employees didn't seem to know what they were doing. My car sat in the bay, hood open while other cars were worked on. Paying my bill was equally painful, standing there for at least five minutes before someone came to take my money. When asked if I wanted the window sticker, I said no, I won't be back. Robert a gentlemen in his 50-60's that shouldn't be working here told me to go to another oil change location because he was too busy to check me in and that it would take 20 minutes just to check me in? I usually go to drive thru oil changes but was in a hurry and stopped by in the morning hoping it wasn't busy. There was only two cars in the bays and one extra car. So I pulled up and asked the guy how long would it take. His response was 30 minutes. I was on a tight schedule but 30 minutes was fine. I sat in my car and waited. As about 20 minutes had gone by more cars showed up. One guy pulls up on my left and within minutes he's pulled into a bay and they start working on his truck. Then another car pulls up on my right and they bring her in to start on her car. I was there before any of them and they kept bypassing me. The first guy they bypassed me for got his truck done and they brought in another vehicle. It was like I was invisible. I went in to talk with the manager but there was nobody around. If you are a African American customer be aware of being over charged for service by Trevor (Shift Leader) and Issac (Store Manager). I came in for a oil change the gentleman that did a great job both Jacob and Luis. Jacob told me the cost of my service before getting started as well as obtaining coupons from online prior to checking out. When the service was completed I exited my vehicle had my mask on to enter the lobby to complete my payment. Trevor ran out side to grab my credit card in a rag in efforts to not touch my card, before I even seen my worksheet for service. I thought that was weird. I have never experienced this before.Trevor decided to run my payment card and sign for me without my consent without going over cost and clearly didn't want me inside of the lobby. There was one Caucasian lady inside. Her experience was great they went over her charges, spoke with her in a pleasant manner and touched her payment card. Lol, most of the staff that have been here for awhile knows me and expect me to be back every 4-5 weeks. (5k miles). Yes I drive that much for my work. The staff are really good to me. They cordial, polite and detailed to what they do, what your car needs, and they inform you for every so many miles what the manufacturer's require / recommendation is needed to be done with your vehicle. Excluding brake jobs and check engine lights. I come here for the maintenance of my car. I never had any issues, and by faithfully maintaining my vehicle, (oil change and tire rotation)it's prolonging the life of my vehicle. The one thing this Location need is how to balance Customer Service and Completing the work. This site loves to chit chat and I mean chit chat. I stopped coming here mainly because they are slow to complete the job in progress, slow to greet customers who show up and sometimes provide excuses of how and why they are slow. Twice I was told the wait will be hour and a half long. That is with 2 cars in the bay, and 6 cars in line. I waited for what like felt 10 minutes (really it was 4-5 min), but no one came out to greet me or explain what the current situation is until I stepped out my car. I frankly don't care if a someone called in sick (twice that was the excuse I was told) but this crew and its current management better learn the word initiative, other responsibility roles and pretend this is a restaurant. Much like a restaurant no one wants to sit and be waited on until someone feels its right to serve the next guest when they see fit. This place tries so hard to be professional and I don't know why. But they lack alot of is a sense of order, the crew here is not responsible, organized, instructed, consistent (well they are consistent on the chit chat) and most of all true team work. Every crew member here tries to be the Top Dog as if they have to compete with one another which is why no one here takes the initiative. Regional Management, Owner of this Location , send in undercover customers to get a full evaluation of your store. The employee who came to my car looked like he was in his 50's or 60's & told me that it would be about 1 hour & 45 minute wait as there were only 2 people. I thanked him for the heads up & left. A while later I decided to go back & wait. The same person approached my car & the first words out of his mouth were; You're like a bad penny aren't you ? EXCUSE ME ???!!! I've been a customer at this location for 15 years. But I live in Auburn now and wanted to find somewhere more local. Tired somewhere local and it was crap. I had an issue that I needed to discuss with a manager, and the new guy, Robert, was so awesome. I was expecting things to go as they usually do anywhere (push back, not taking ownership etc.) but he listened, cared, and went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right and even fixed issues that had happened at other places. I brought two cars in. I was told one needed a battery replacement and there was an assortment of other "issues" with both vehicles. When I get my receipt, the indication is that both vehicles need battery "replacement". I subsequently get both tested and am told that they function fine with no issue. This is why detest places like this and I seriously need to consider alternatives in the future. Why can't an oil change just be an oil change? Brought my car in around 8:30 in the morning with one car ahead of me and ended up leaving at 10:17. No extra work beyond a regular oil change. Not sure what was going on today because it has never taken so long. It caused me to miss an appointment so it was very frustrating on top off the long wait.
