Previously my car was serviced at the Stillman Pkwy location in Richmond, VA. On this occasion, we went to the location on Midlothian where after 1.5 hours we were told they could not perform the oil change. There reason was that the other location had over tightened the filter and they would damage the car if they tried to remove. They sent us back to the Stillman location. At that location they did remove the oil filter, but between the two locations a part is now stripped and they stated they would replace it for $30. We will have to replace it with the next oil change. Additionally, we had a Groupon that included a tire rotation and Stillman said they could not perform this task as they did not have the equipment. So not only did this experience end up taking over 3 hours at 2 locations across town from each other, we also were not provided with services we had paid for and have to pay more to replace a part stripped by the staff. read more

This had happened 2x to me at Stillman-- they do not tell me they don't have the filter for my 2021 Cadillac. They take out my filter. Then they drive around trying to buy one while I wait for over an hour. -- not JIFFY and not transparent. read more

Very disappointing experience. I have a fleet account for my company vehicle. I have found out that some locations do not take this account. I asked if they could check before I pull my vehicle around and get stuck in line if they can't the the fleet account. The two guys were rude and mocked me while the glass door was still open. Told them I would take my business elsewhere. Don't go to these clowns for any service, if this is how they treat you before they service your vehicles, I hate to see the quality of work they provide with such poor customer service. read more

Went to this location in March for an oil change and had a great experience though there were different employees there. So when it was time to replace my battery, I went back. I actually called in the morning to get a price estimate. Apparently I called the other Jiffy Lube which is 0.8 miles away, but it was still a Jiffy Lube so the price should be the same. The Manager here came to the front laughing and told me how much the battery cost. It was $100 more than the quote. When I mentioned that I called in the morning and that was a lot more than the original quote, she then became really hostile. I told her the name of the employee that I spoke with (I did not know at the time that I called the other location), but I certainly was not trying to argue just taken aback by such a significant price difference. I then asked how much labor would be since she only told me how much the battery would cost which she then turned around and yelled through the window to the employees to get my car pulled out. She then started yelling at me that she would not "price negotiate when her computer told her what the price was and that she would not service me". Again, I was not trying to negotiate. I just wanted to know the full price (parts and labor). She then went into the garage portion and started talking about me. I asked another employee for her name which he didn't know (great management and safety precautions clearly!) and then she started yelling at me and told me that she would call the police on me if I didn't leave the location and that she would not give me her name. I calmly walked out and tried to talk to her because I was so confused as to why she was reacting this way when I just wanted to know the full price for the service. Of course she is continuing to yell over me. Honestly in hindsight that was stupid of me since she was already agitated. I've never been in this situation before, so my mind was just blown and I wasn't thinking straight. All of the employees are laughing at this point so clearly this is a normal situation for her. She continued to yell at me as I walked to my car and got into my car. And then yelled at me when I drove away. She told me to "go to hell" and threw some other curse words my way. I ended up driving down to the other location because I needed a new battery today. I honestly didn't want to support Jiffy Lube again, however I was desperate. I paid the original price which was quoted ($220 versus the $300+ labor). And no, that was not a discount for this terrible experience. So now I understand why she was so upset. She is trying to line her pockets by overcharging! Terrible experience. Do not go there and support this type of "customer service manager". Save yourself some money and trouble by going down the street to another location. read more

Other location on Quiocassin Rd is good. They were out of the oil that my car uses, so I came here. I don't recommend the Stillman location. Long wait, seemed understaffed for a Saturday. They did not vacuum the car (checklist said they did), and did not install the window sticker (again the checklist said they did). I don't go to the Short Pump location because they always leave dirty prints on the steering wheel, and sometimes on the seats too. read more

This place is great!! Mr Sprouse and the staff are wonderful. Today it was a simple wiper blade issue. The team took my car and replaced the wiper blades while I paid. I absolutely hate going to get my oil changed, it is one of those experiences that I absolutely dread. I obviously fit the stereotype of being a woman and not knowing anything about my car and it is just overall an infuriating process. I normally don't mind going to Jiffy Lube because I usually buy the groupon to get my oil changed and it is an in and out process. I have been to several locations where I don't dread going, but this location made me feel like an idiot. I am not the only one who takes my car to get serviced so I am not always sure what has been updated on my car, after a series of questions and not having an answer to each of them, the guy behind the counter laughed at me and shook his head. Which just made me feel like a child. I hope this review doesn't come across as me sounding like a little girl, because I am not speaking against Jiffy Lube, I have been using them for years and LOVE the fact that they work so quickly and I can normally get my oil changed, tires rotated, and the rain-x glass treatment in under an hour which is awesome! It's this particular location that needs to work on their customer service, especially towards women! read more

There are huge pros and cons to any big-business franchise car maintenance places like this Jiffy Lube. Most of the customer service workers and the managers I've found work with you and are upfront, if you take the time to really talk to them. I recommend hanging out by your vehicle if they are doing something more than a simple oil change. They are definitely over-priced and less knowledge than most mechanics. I wouldn't recommend going here for a serious issue, but rather take it to the dealership or the Autoport. A franchise / chain will charge 2-3x more for their convenience. read more

Figured I'd write a positive review about this place since I've been there twice now and have had minimal issues. First off, the manager (I believe his name was Chris) that was on duty while I was there was phenomenal. Super nice, patient and handled the rush with ease. He didn't even skip a beat when a customer spilled a 40oz coke all of the floor. He did a good job explaining all the rates and services to the customers as they came in, including myself. He didn't try to sell me on any uneeded services either, which was nice. Chris also offered to change a bulb for another customer if she would drive to Advanced Auto Parts and picked up the one she needed. I should at least mentioned me "Maintence Required" light is now in my car (the one that indicates I need an oil change) less than a week after my oil change, but I won't hold it against them. He estimated my wait time almost exactly too! I've had decent luck at other Jiffy Lube locations in the area, but I will go out of my way to continue to go to this one. read more

I would select "0" if it were available. Horrible customer service. Did not detect an oil leak or power steering leak when I brought my car for an oil change on 12/20/22. "Found" an oil leak when I brought the car back & was told that they didn't understand how it was not detected or mentioned when I brought the car in but that it would need to be repaired somewhere else. Tool the car to a recommended mechanic & they immediately detected an oil leak and power steering leak through a brief assessment. Had the car repaired there & had to drain oil & have new oil change. Came back to Jiffy Lube to request a refund for the $99 oil change they did that was useless & to note that power steering fluid had not been checked properly or they would have seen the leak. One employee lied to me telling me he had told me there was a leak. There was no documentation of this (of course) & I told him I would certainly remember this info & would have had it repaired, not ignore it. Supposedly, the district manager was called but refused to refund me or give any compensation. A kind, courteous gesture of good customer service would have been to refund me for the oil change & apologize. I have had so many jobs in my life where a simple gesture makes all the difference. I've been a customer for at least 15 years & at this location, @ least 5 but, no more. read more

If I could possibly give these people a worse review, I would. I came to this place on the way back home to Ohio to get an oil change. I left very happy with the services, though very unhappy an hour later to find my car overheating because they spilt oil on my engine, therefore wasting time in my drive to get home to my family. Don't waste your time or money, just go to Valvoline. read more

***EDIT*** The District Manager contacted me directly to handle the situation. He initially offered a gift card, but ended up issuing a full refund. Thankful that the issue was handled quickly and professionally. Great customer service. I'm so disappointed because I had such a great experience in the store. Unfortunately, after an oil change and tire rotation, I ended up in a different shop one week later where I was told that the lug nuts on two of my tires had only been tightened by hand. Thankfully, I heeded the loud clunking my tires had begun to make because I was minutes away from losing one or two tires on 64 or 95 which could have obviously been tragic. I used a Groupon which gave me a decent deal, but no deal is worth whgetting the call that you're essentially lucky to be alive after driving around on tires that were barely connected to your car. I have to say, I would advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs. read more

The only Jiffy Lube I'll go to. Staff is upfront, welcoming, and professional and are happy to explain things to you that you don't understand. Although all Jiffy Lube prices could be lower, the staff here don't force you into more expensive options or try to up sell you at every turn (if they do, they do a great job of not making it obvious). Mr. Sprouse was very assuring and knowledgeable beyond what he was required to explain about my car and made my most recent oil, etc. change more enjoyable. read more

The man running the front desk makes you feel like an idiot and will talk down to you. Very sexist, thinking as a woman I knew nothing about my car when in fact I do. These guys are amazing. I needed to get my 2014 Bentley Flying Spur serviced and I could not be bothered to drive it all the way to Tyson's Corner and pay the $500 they were asking for an oil change. No one else in the Short Pump area would do the work - too afraid of damaging a Bentley they said. Even the Audi of Richmond (Audi owns Bentley by the way) would not touch it. But this Jiffy Lube did. The manager (don't recall his name, but great guy and great family as well) said sure, I'll do it for you. Took my coupon too. All told it took about 1.5 hours to get all the dang grommets and screws and do the oil change, but man did these guys do a professional job. Probably the only Bentley a Jiffy Lube has ever done.They also did the oil on my 2016 Nissan GTR. Same story - went above and beyond to make sure it was done right. Unfortunately, I am not in LA and can no longer utilize their services. If I was still in Richmond, I would definitely take it back there given the level of care and professionalism that these guys displayed. 100% would recommend. read more

Worst service I've ever received. They ripped me off (to say the least) and took advantage of the fact that I left my car there for an oil change. Instead of calling me, they just charged me for the most expensive service possible. When I questioned and said I was calling customer service, they just laughed at me. I now know why, Customer service is an even bigger joke! There are only 2 customer service people and the "manager" is rude and doesn't care to discuss you issues, just tell you how they are right. I WILL NEVER go back and would NEVER recommend to anyone. You're better off going to a dealership and paying less. read more

This place is ridiculous I went in with a Groupon coupon for an oil change, vacuum tire rotation window clean and fluid check it was supposed to be $30 thought I was getting a great deal I'd be out of there in an hour and a half tops well after 4 and a half hours they broke a lug stem and didn't vacuum my car I don't even know if they checked the fluids or anything I was furious but I didn't want to sit there for another second I was scared I'd do something rash this place is ridiculous I spent over $100 before leaving read more

I will never go here again. I had a small amount I needed to pay to complete my balance. I handed them $10.00 the man said he could not break a 10. I had to use my card for a transaction less than $2.00. They also broke my car key and yet didn't tell me about it. I had to walk back in and have them "fix" it. It took three people and even still they could not fix the whole thing. When I took it back it was in crocked, yet the guy said it wasn't until I showed it to him. Not one apology from any of them. I took my car in for an oil change, and my Raybans were taken out of the door. When I called the customer service manager, he told me it was basically my fault. He also stated he had no motivation to replace my stolen items since I didn't want to continue servicing my car there. I asked to speak to someone different and was told there was no one else who would help me replace my stolen items. read more

Got off to a good start with the door opening and all, like all jiffy live locations. I told them my tire pressure light had just come on in the morning and asked that they check it for me- it's included with the oil change. the wait was 45 min. When I left I told them my tire pressure light was still on and asked if they could fill them. They told me they did- just to drive around and let it recalibrate. I should have forced the issue but didn't. I knew better. Well twenty min later I pulled over with a flat tire, nail in it. So I called back and they said "oh I guess he forgot to check it." No apology, no let us make it right, no nothing. He clearly just rushed the job and lied when he told me they checked when they didn't and ultimately put me in danger. They even put in the discharge form that they checked it and it read 35 psi. I can't help but wonder what other parts of the job they skimped on. read more
