My grandfather on August 3rd of this month, my grandfather went in because WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT 12:00 SCEDUALDED. I didn't end up going because I wasn't feeling well. They've lied to my grandfather's face about they appointment because I wasn't there. THEY HARRASSED HIM BECAUSE I WASN'T THERE TO STOP THEM!!!They were supposed to put 3 tires on my grandfather's car and an oil sensor. If they didn't lie about that part, but they did end up putting the tires on but totally fucked him over on the sensor. They have poor communication issues, and very untrustworthy, they genuinely lie about their cars and services. I've had nothing but sexual harassment from them.... INFRONT OF MY GRANDFATHER!!!! DAVE- "Sit on Jim's lap" genuinely do not go here FOR ANYTHING!!! They will lie about car problems, money, time. I showed up, the manager willingly gave me his business card, Gave pictures of the rim bent on the inside refusing any customer service offers for the fact that I had recently been in reporting the tire light was on again, had an inspection done at the same time and No reports of rim damage to any tires. I brought that to his attention again he told me to leave or he'd call the police. I merely upgraded tires to be safe and it was costly to do so. I feel not only me and my kids safety but the community's was also put at risk. The cost of being held responsible for fixing their mistake will be as costly as the purchase of four tires. Within an hour of dropping my car off Dave called and asked if I have seen all the pretty lights on my dashboard. Driving the car for 4 years, of course I have seen the battery light on. (I have had it to a Honda Dealership, and was told that the car is fine to drive. It will most likely always be on as it is an older car.) Dave said that the car needs and alternator for $648 and a new battery for $269. Dave told me that they can not even inspect the car because it won't stay running long enough. At which time I told him I would just come pick up the car and to do nothing further. He stated "the car is going to die on you and will leave you stranded. A tow bill will be a lot more than the price I gave you to fix it." Absolutely disgusting that this gentleman uses scare tactics to earn his commission or get business in the shop. He addressed my tire issue with professionalism and politeness. He was very patient with me and worked with me to get to a solution. Im usually uncomfortable going to any car shop to get work done but he gave me confidence to be able to come back. There is a 12 month, 12k warranty per their website. The manager in the store, John, was made aware on 3/3/26 (under 5 months later) of the warranty issue when my vehicle was disabled while my kids were in it due to the AXLE BREAKING. He at that time said that it would be warrantied and I had to send him a copy of the receipt. I did on 3/5/26. It was read however I have yet to receive a response. I have called multiple times and have been told he's not available or he'll call back. He never does. I have sent multiple emails. He doesn't respond. I am seeking a refund of my $1200 job that John said he would have handled. Is John at Monro in East Greenbush a man of his word? It seems not.
