Went for an oil change and was told 2 different prices by two different people. 100$ and 130$. Then they said it might be more depending on the level of oil. I'm not broke so I wasn't sweating it. They said I could use a coupon for 15$ off. They never used the coupon even though the person cashing me out said that with the coupon it was 125$. Once I looked at the receipt they didn't even apply the coupon. Not going back, but people need to know they don't have their stuff together. read more

For the place that changes oil I'm surprised how hard can it be to do your job as a professional/ or at least someone who does the oil change every fricking day Guys showed me my CLEAN air filter to let me know how 20 bucks will make it actually brand new, I declined, so the best part of the oils change came in handy when they had left bunch of oil drips that stank up the whole ride from them to home, where I had to go and clean up all of their job, unprofessional and to be honest I'm not coming back to the people who make sure you are going to change your air filter next time....making a MESS OF AN OIL CHANGE .... You guys are oblivious, if you do an oil change and it looks like shit....after you done your job, maybe change the line of work???? read more

I went on my day off just for oil change My alarm Was alerting me my wiper fluid was low I told them at Jiffy Lube They said ok I was not asked if I wanted windows cleaned It says it was declined Also my alarm was still alerting me for wiper fluid It said added but no How do I know they actually changed my oil or just charged me? I've come here a couple times and have always had a good experience. The staff are fast, polite and friendly. You do pay a bit more for the convenience but I love that now with COVID you can just drive your car in and stay in your car throughout the whole experience. I was in and out in maybe 10-15 minutes even on a Saturday. Totally worth paying more, IMO. read more

This Jiffy Lube was great until they changed personnel. They didn't try too hard to upsell you and they treated you with respect. Now, all of a sudden, they refuse to put conventional oil in the same car I have brought to them for years. The manufacturer says that the car takes conventional oil. They have put conventional oil in it at my request, literally for years. But now, for no logical reason, they are refusing to do that. Same car, same specs. Could it be there is management pressure to upcharge? Well they lost my business, my son's business, and my sisters. And I'll never go back and urge you not too either. read more

I've used this jiffy lube periodically over the past decade. it was always good but since it went into new ownership it's services have improved and even expanded. The staff are always professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. they walk you through every step of the process of whatever the service your car needs. they welcome walk in appointments as well as pre booked appointments. They also have incredibly reasonable pricing and often have promotions and coupons for various services. They now also offer windshield repairs. one of the techs treated my windshield and ultimately saved me a unneeded $500 repair. Very impressed with how this location has flourished and looking forward to utilizing this station again in the future. read more

I stopped dealing with JL due to their annoying up-selling and went to an another shop last time. But they were surprisingly expensive, so I decided to go back to JL and just tell 'em to cut the BS and change my oil. I drove up and told the guy what I wanted and that I had a $16 coupon on my phone. But they stepped up their game. He says it'd be around $90 for the change. What? "We don't put conventional oil in a 2014 Hyundai Accent any more". Seriously? I've been running it on conventional oil for 9 years, and that's what the owner's manual recommends. I came in kind of last minute and they were phenomenal. Very friendly, chipper, professional and quick! They filled my tires, changed my oil and topped off any liquids I needed. I've been procrastinating all of these things and didn't feel judged for the condition I brought my car in haha. The people here are just amazing. I bought a new car several months ago and the dealer schedule me an appointment for oil change. I decided to go to this location instead and one of the employees came and told me i was not due for a change until another 2,000 miles or so. Where can you find people so honest? If it was someone else they would've taken advantage of me. Im so grateful for this. I will definitely go back when is time to actually change the oil. Every time I come here there seems to be a whole new staff working, granted it is a car service station where I try to go every 3-5 months for an oil change so it's not like I'm visiting every weekend...but I can see how a lot of people prefer knowing the mechanics and shop owners who work on their car and establishing some sort of relationship that justifies their work and the price. I feel the same way for big jobs, but Jiffy has consistently been the fastest oil change service I've had. Although they are consistently quick, they are trained to upsell you on anything and everything which puts pressure on me to make a 5 second $100 decision most times. And just an added tidbit for anyone getting an oil change anywhere...before you drive off make sure they reset your meter level to 100% so you can avoid thinking the job was never done along with having to make a trip back. read more

Don't go to this Jiffy Lube, they upcharge for services they don't actually perform especially on their "Signature Service Oil Change. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years in another states, never had a problem always received professional, courteous and honest service. I arrived at the Jiffy Lube, place was not busy, so I pulled up my car, went to the waiting room and saw the mechanic pop my hood and about to start an oil change. This was a little abnormal for me because I normally have a conversation with the mechanic before the work is started, basically I always get a consultation and estimate before any work is started to be clear on what services I was requesting. So I asked mechanic if I could speak to him before he started working on my car. I explained to the mechanic that I had just received an oil change in New Mexico prior to driving cross country to Rhode Island, that my car seems to be idling a little on the high side and I wasn't sure if I actually needed another oil change. He said he would check things out, then he came back and stated I needed an oil change. It seemed like literally 5 minutes later he came back to tell me that the car was all done. I was shocked to find that I was being charged $89 plus tax, and that instead of using conventional oil, he had taken the liberty of charging me for some type of gold higher grade oil without my consent, and then he tried to tell me that this is the oil that my previous Jiffy Lube in New Mexico had used when I knew this to be false. In addition the signature service that they were charging me for included a number of other services like cleaning my glass, topping off my fluids, vacuuming and checking my tire pressure, none of those things were done. When I brought this to his attention and explained to him the type of service I received in New Mexico his only retort was "well get used to it this is Rhode Island." When my sister called later to inquire, she found out that this gentleman was actually one of the mamagers. What's egregious for me is that I have been a lifelong Jiffy Lube customer in many states and have never experienced this level of fraud and arrogance, with seemingly no recourse. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I'm considering filing a complaint with the Rhode Island attorney general's office. It's clear by reading some of the Yelp reviews that this is a common practice at this particular Jiffy Lube. Steer clear of this place. read more

Highly disappointed on my visit this morning. Arrived shortly after 8am. Usually as Soon as I pull up some comes right out to greet me. Today I waited a few minutes and saw someone look out the window at me. I guessed it May have been another customer they were helping so I went inside. The person who looked out was in fact an employee. When I walked in I needed to engage them in conversation to inquire about an oil change. They indicated that they needed another staff member who was running late and I needed to ask if they thought it would be awhile. They said no and disappeared. I can respect that people run late but something was very uncomfortable and I waited about 10 minutes with no further update and left. This used to be a great location and I had many positive experiences but I will go elsewhere for now. read more

We were on a road trip and needed to get an oil change. We were fortunate two have Mike as our salesperson and service technician. We were able to get our oil changed, and new windshield wipers within 20 minutes. He was extremely friendly and personable and offered other services as needed. I would definitely return! read more

This place was pretty good for an oil change. But bring your own cushion, the chairs in the waiting area are as hard as a rock. It's that hard plastic and there is no soft support for a larger-boned gentleman such as myself. read more

This location has gone downhill fast. Went yesterday to get an oil change. Was warmly greeted by Douglas and directed to the waiting area. When my vehicle was pulled in, he reviewed all the required work to be done including changing the cabin air filter. So far so good. Vehicle is pulled out of the bay and I pay my bill. First thing I notice when I get in to pull away is that the change oil notice is not cleared and reset. Asked to have this reset, which was done. Drove away and noticed a black piece of plastic on the passenger side floor that was not there when I pulled in. Returned to the shop. Discovered that whomever changed the cabin air filter did not put the cover back on. The change oil notice came back on for a second time and asked for that to be reset again. Went home and read the work order and discovered that part of the service checklist is to vacuum floors. This was also not completed. Went to leave for work this morning and the change oil notice is on again. Makes me wonder if they even changed the oil in the first place. read more

I came in to get my brake pads done which I had gotten the front done about a month ago so I returned to get the rear done, and was greeted by an associate to who me I resumed to tell I need my rear brake pads done. Without my knowledge then proceeded to do the brakes and rotors. I waited a little over an hour to find my bill coming to over $300 for the brake service and was outraged they didn't tell me they were also doing my rotors without asking me or even telling me the condition of the old ones! I proceeded to tell the manager Carlos that I came in a month ago and only paid 120$ after tax, I then had to wait ANOTHER HOUR for them to take everything apart again and put my old rotors back on. Completely inconvenient and unprofessional on the associates end. Carlos however was very polite. read more

Service here is top shelf. Asst. Mgr. Jamiel is professional, Knowledgeable and has integrity. Great experience getting my oil changed. It took less than 15 minutes from the time I drove up to the time I drove out. I already knew what my car needed but waited to see what the mechanic would say. He showed me what I needed and it was EXACTLY what I expected. In other words he didn't try to sell me items or service I didn't need. Overall a GREAT experience from start to finish! This location is fantastic with their customer service. I came in one afternoon and it was pouring rain, and the helpful gentlemen who work here came to my car with an umbrella and walked me inside. Every time I get my oil changed, it's quick, easy, and there's always a deal or coupon to use and save a few dollars. The guys at this Jiffy Lube are great. A few weeks ago I stopped in for an oil change but as they had a wait I decided to come back. Aaron noticed that my hood was not closing properly and stopped what he was doing to take a look at it, explaining to me that it was dangerous to drive with the hood not shut all the way. He got some tools and worked on the rusted latch and fixed it! (I had been driving around like that for a while!) When I asked what I owed him he said I was all set. Avoid this place at all costs. .went there recently and had horrible service, they try to Up sell. .which is common at all these places. .But the worst part was the attitude that I got when I said, I just wanted the oil. After that was in and out. .That week I noticed engine was making noise. . Louder every day. .checked my oil. . Was half full!!..called Manager to complain, I topped off my oil and kept the receipt to get reimbursed. .By the time I got back to jiffy lube. . My engine blew up. . On the way to jiffy lube. . At the end of it all. .Gm Looked at it. . Was told. .Because I put 2 quarts in. . That jiffy lube want the last one to touch the car. . Total BulllShizzz.. What did they expect me to do. . Went here for an oil change. And barely made it home,starting noticing my car was not running and my miles per hour was not showing up. Call them to see what happen and got all types of things before he even looked at it. Turns out they knocked out my transmission sensor out and didn't notice.they called it a mistake and that was that. No refund no anything. Don't go to this place . read more

I always do basic work on our cars but a busted arm had me in a pinch before a long road trip. I took my car here for an oil change...$89 for a non-synthetic oil change and air filter! Air filter is $18 anywhere, they charged $37! They also claim to do clean windows and carpets during your oil change, nope. Absolutely absurd. read more

I am extremely disgusted by my services preformed today. I went into Jiffy Lube because I trust them to preform my oil changes and trust their insight when other services are needed. Today I was told that I needed transmission fluid. Personally, being unaware of what that even means I agreed thinking it would be $50-$100. At the end of my visit I'm told it's $240 and the service was already preformed. I wish I would have been informed of the high cost so I would have been prepared. Most people don't just have $300 laying around when they had just gone in expecting an oil change. I'm in total disbelief that no one would let me know the price before considering it's over $200. I trusted them to let me know because they are the experts. I feel personally taken advantage of and will never return to any jiffy lube location. Seriously hoping to at least inform them to give people the common decency to let them know how much their service is. Wouldn't even be giving them one star if I didn't have to. read more
