Came in for filly oil change I had just traveled a lot on a road trip and thought I needed it just because I traveled. I have a newer car and I had the full synthetic oil changed last time. After talking to the guy and letting him know my concerns, he checked my oil and my antifreeze and all my other stuff and told me that I didn't need to do an oil change right now unless I absolutely wanted to He reassured me that my oil was in good condition. Nice crew, however I bring my wife's car here for the first two oil changes on her new car. They failed to properly put the undercarriage cover back on (that they have to take off to change oil). Now it's dragging and broken and can't be repaired without buying a new piece. Lost my business forever, such a simple job, if you can't do your job right then don't come to work. read more

This was the friendliest and most efficient jiffy lube staff I've ever been to. I ended paying more than I expected, but I'm not mad about it. I wanted a regular oil change, but opted for the fully service upgrade which is what was needed for my vehicle. I didn't feel pressured to talked into it by the staff. It's locations like this that is the reason why I will always come to Jiffy Lube for oil changes for as long as I own a car. My vehicle requires a certain brand oil or the manufacturer will not warranty the engine. That's the reason I come here. Well, they were out of it and the district manager was on site and told the crew to just swap it for another brand. Thankfully I was watching and stopped them. My son in law - a professional mechanic, changed my intake manifold gasket at his house when my car went into extreme over heating. Luckily it happened two blocks from their house. Anyway, he didn't have anything to drain the oil into that now had anti-freeze in it. That got in there when he changed out the intake manifold gasket, so the next day he said to take it for an oil change. I took it to Jiffy Lube in O.C., explained to them that my son in law, who is a mechanic for toyota changed out my intake manifold gasket and he said there would be anti-freeze in my oil and to just change it out. I told 3 guys the same thing. Finally one of the managers comes in and says, mam you have a blown head gasket problem, we can't change your oil until it's fixed. So I left. After hearing how much the oil change cost the person before me, all I can say is thanks. I called my son in law after leaving and had to drive to Sanford where he worked. He changed my oil and it cost me a total of $22 for oil and filter. Next time try listening to your customers. My car is fine, has been fine since the oil change. It's been a month. read more

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! On June 26th I took my car to Jiffy Lube to have the coolant flushed and new coolant put in. An hour later I walked back to jiffy lube from my gym and saw my car running. I waited about 15 minutes to be helped (all the while my car was running in the hot sun). I paid my $106 bill and was given a receipt and sent on my way. When I got to my car it was on with the keys in the ignition and the temp light was flashing red and beeping. The inside of my reeked of coolant fumes. I got out of my car and a huge trail of liquid was POURING from the front of my car. I asked a mechanic to come over and told them something was wrong. I also asked one of the mechanics how long it had been running for,sitting in the hot sun in the middle of June and he said,"well about 10 minutes inside which we have to do after flushing the coolant and then about 30 minutes out here". Note that my car is 15 years old!!! I wouldn't even leave a new car running for that long! They then guessed at what it could be and then started messing with my fan modules. I had to wait and hour for my car to cool down so that I could drive it home. I expressed my frustration to the mechanic that I was sent home after paying $106 on an overheated car. They put me in danger and my car in danger. I told the mechanic that I wanted a refund. He said he would talk to his district manager and then call me the next day. He never called me back. I called and he wasn't there. This went on until I filed a complaint with corporate. Then finally the following Wednesday,July 3 the district manager had called me and emailed me. I didn't see this until the following weekend so I called first chance I got on Monday July 8th. By this time my car was at the dealership to fix whatever damage they had done. The district manager,Michael Russo, answered and was extremely unprofessional and rude. He kept saying the whole situation was my fault. He continuously was interrupting me and talking over me. I asked for his bosses number who has yet to answer my calls. No one from jiffy lube has contacted me further about my refund. I am beyond livid! Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I'm a waitress and understand how to properly treat customers.....if only the people here had the same skills and cared about helping people!! read more

I was beyond pleased on the service that I received. They have done a tune up and my brakes as well as new tires. Everytime I go there I am met with a smile and excellent customer service. Jiffy Lube is a necessary evil in my car-driving life. I've been driving for over a decade now, and I'm finally starting to figure out that cars require routine maintenance. For example, after four years of driving with my "Check Engine" light on, I finally removed the black tape covering it and took it to a mechanic. I've also realized it's best to take the car in for an oil change before the light comes on, and Jiffy Lube is where I take it. Some people won't go to Jiffy Lube because they prefer to have it done at a dealership, but sitting in a waiting room watching NASCAR for two hours on a Saturday doesn't sound like much fun. I'm a lady of convenience. I'm terrified of sales people and car mechanics, so this can be a petrifying experience for me. The Jiffy Lubes dudes sense my fear, and they take advantage of it. "When was the last time you had your engine flushed? We can do it for $80." "Your carborator dinginator is about to explode. You realize that, right? $120." "Lady, I highly advise you don't drive away without having us stroke your pipes. $79." Denial and lying seems to be the only way to get out of here for under $75. It's also the best way to ensure you'll be out of here in 15 minutes. The Jiffy Lube guys are always looking out for you. For a price. read more

Stopped by to get a quick oil change and got what I was looking for 40 minutes in the bay not bad way to spend the afternoon. All the employees were changing roles and going from bay to bay downstairs and upstairs asking multiple times which cars were clear to add and which ones could be started it was very confusing I was concerned if anything was going to get finished started or an actual oil change. Luckily it didn't blow up after I left but time will tell. If you have time to kill and don't care what they do to your car please give them your business. read more

I went to the tires plus across the street and was given a scowl by the associate behind the desk because I was there and get my oil changed and they had a two hour wait. I have been to this location in Orange City 5 times over the past year. They did my fleet vehicle once and then my personal vehicle the other five times. The service has always been exceptional. Friendly, approachable, and patient when answering my questions. Went again today - Anny and Donald took care of us with the same speed and friendliness we are used too. Anny walked me through some recommend services (I have no problem with add-ons, this is a business) some I turned down, I did accept the tire rotation and new air filter. Donald was present today and had been there the last time as well. He was training someone and also showed patience while walking his new trainee through on the computer systems (even though they of course slow down while training). We all got a good laugh when they found an Easter egg under our hood - in perfect condition. We drank the fresh hot coffee they had in the waiting area (it is small 4or 5 chairs) but it went so fast you don't sit long. We were in and out in 10-15 minutes. I got the high mileage oil change so I am used to paying more than $20, but my 2006 has NEVER had any issues and runs super smooth so I buy my add ons if it enhances my cars performance. It's not as cheap as Walmart BUT 15 minutes versus at least 1-2 hours for an oil change. I'll go here every time for my oil change! read more

Careful. They well upsell you anything. Was recommended brakes; didn't need brakes. Was just suggested a tire rotation; just purchased them four days ago with an alignment. Was recommended some sort of oil cleaner; manufacturers recommend against that. Was told that my fluids were low; charged for that. They upsell you for services you don't need. I don't know if the pressure is on there but that's really not cool and it needs to stop. People should know about this before going. read more

Went to jiffy lube for the first time and thought i was happy with the fast service but then realized they hadn't tighten the oil drain plug enough becuase i had huge oil leaks for 2 days on my driveway until i figured out what was going on. Took the car back and they tightened it and added more oil since a lot of leaked out. Not a happy customer since i had to go back becuase of there error and never got an apology for there error read more

Service is generally good, though the last time the assistant manager was quite rude. I had always received discounts here from the manager, but the assistant manager didn't want to honor them and said the were not on my customer file, when I'm pretty sure the manager had placed that on my account previously. I will be taking my car somewhere else now after the rude attitude of the assistant manager. read more

The only reason why I put 5 stars is because you need to see this!! I came in to get my oil change and nothing more, they told me I had to top off some of my fluids and that was no problem and my bill came out to about 90$ and that was fine until I asked him about the creaking on the left side of my car that has been there prior to coming to jiffy lube and he gave me a price match to how much it was going to be to fix it, it came out to about 2,200$ and he then told me I would probably be better off trading my car off because my racks and pinions & power steering pump needed to be changed. I was obviously not paying that that day to get fixed, so I just left. The price seemed a little outrageous for me so I took my car to a close friend mechanic that was going to be honest with me and he told me my racks & pinions were perfectly fine & my pump was perfect! Neither of those things needed to be changed and neither of them was causing the problem in the front of my car. My mechanic fixed my car and the sound is now gone & he charged me for everything & it came to $300. Big difference from $2,200. moral of the story, know about your car before you go in here & do not get taken advantage off because I am a single mother who came in with my grandmother and my 2 year old daughter and they still did this. I don't know if they just don't know what was causing the sound in my car or they really thought they were right & I was gonna pay that much for "jiffy lube" to fix my car but they definitely tried screwing me over. I just got back from Jiffy Lube, $82 for a standard high mile oil change. That is about double the price of their competitors. When I pulled in they said $62.99 for a high mile change. Unfortunately I was in a hurry, needed an oil change and they were conveniently located. So even though that is way overpriced, I agreed. While they were doing the change, the guy inside attempted to talk me into a few hundred dollars of additional service. I said no thanks. They pulled the air filter, said it was still OK but I should probably change it anyway. I asked if their air filters were as overpriced as their oil change.. and of course said no thanks. They were done quite quickly (I was the only customer, which given their prices is no surprise). My $62.99 bill was suddenly $82 and change. I asked why, they said it took an extra quart of oil. Now, given they drain the oil completely and then replace it, how in the world could it take an extra quart? Do they not know how much oil a car takes or do they do that deliberately to jack up your price? Either way it doesn't matter. I won't be going back. read more

I came in on 02/14/14 for an oil change at the Orange City location just before closing time on my 2006 Hyundai Sonata. After explaining to the fast talking rep that all I wanted was an oil change and nothing else and still having to no air filter, no vacuum etc. he turned the computer in such a way that I could not see the work being done on my car and then told me they were finished and I could pay the $39.00. Only problem is that they filled the engine with oil but never removed the oil filter although I was being charged extra for the canister type filter. When I mentioned that I wanted to see the changed filter he then went outside and came back and said they told him they changed it. I explained to him that I had not fallen off the turnip truck and that they needed to remove the upper plastic shield to access the canister in which the filter was located. They then changed it and he told me that the guy on top thought the guy on the bottom had changed it. Somehow I doubt this is the first Sonata that he worked on. Had I not personally changed my oil numerous times before I would have left with the same old dirty filter and paid extra for a new one. How many other people have been ripped off in this manner or other ways? This is either plain theft or incompetence. Either way, this is not how to do business. read more
