Heartbreaking Experience - Complete Failure in Service and Compassion…read more I took my vehicle to the Jiffy Lube at 1930 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC on October 15, 2025, for a diagnostic and other services. My car had a few issues but was running fine when I brought it in. The very next day, it wouldn't start at all. An employee tried to drive it to a nearby gas station, where it completely broke down and became inoperable. My car was left there, and I was offered no help or support to get it back. Later, I was told the head gasket had blown and that no refund or solution would be provided. What made this even more devastating is that the manager watched me scramble to find money to fix my car, knowing I needed it to attend my grandmother's funeral. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. Because of this experience, I lost both money and my vehicle. Jiffy Lube truly failed me--both in service and in basic human decency. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Dylan kept us informed throughout the process. When they found the problem, they were upfront about the timeline for fixing it, so we decided to have it towed to our usual service station. They offer a shuttle service, and the owner who is super kind will personally take you home and pick you up while your car is being worked on. I had issues with the last place I'd been going to because they always called with some other major thing that was supposedly wrong with my car to charge me extra for something every time I went in--even when I was already paying for major repairs. I know it's because I'm a female and they would try to scare me into more work being done. Choosing Pro Tire was the best decision I could have made. I will definitely be returning for future service. Thank you so much. I'm truly blown away by the kindness and generosity. You just don't experience that kind of service very often these days.

They claim to be Lexus experts (my car is a Lexus). Different employees told me different recommendations which was concerning. I dropped the car off and the next day got a voicemail that the car was fixed and ready for pickup. Great, when I finished transferring my belongings back into my car I am told it just went up on the lift to get worked on. No work had been done whatsoever. Lots of miscommunications on their end. Finally, when I schedule an appointment to get the car fixed the following week they tell me they can't get me in/don't have a loner car until the following week because some people blew their engines and their cars were being worked on. I said "forgot it, nevermind" and went to a competitor I used in Greenville before. They fixed my car in less than 24 hours and had the loner car ready. Ridiculous..

It is not much to look at and to my northern eyes the guys seemed a bit mello. When Boris drove my car into the bay he noticed the hesitation that I had chalked up to my car being 9+ years old. They didn't have the part to fix it but they pointed out that it was likely covered by the Hyundai warranty. Their diagnosis was right and it turned out that it was covered and I got it repaired free, score. These guys are honest, inexpensive and genuinely nice.
