My car has been getting worked on for over an hour when the guy comes in and tells me they're just now getting to rotating my tires. They also didn't have the type of oil I needed so I had to spend more than I had planned. Also overheard the manager very unprofessionally talking to a day 1 hire. Terrible all around. I've never waited so long to get my oil changed. I've been in and out of valvoline in 10 minutes on multiple occasions. Will never be back to jiffy lube again. When new tires were brought up( last shop said they needed to be replaced) he went and double checked that the current ones were ok instead of upselling me on new ones. Had to come here last minute before a road trip, and was feeling a bit of shame for not getting work done on my car in a while. I was helped by Justin, who right off the bat was honest with me about pricing and didn't push me for services I didn't need or want. Several things needed pointing out, but he never made me feel lesser-than (which can be hard to come by when you're not a man with a car that has a lot of problems). The overall waiting area could use a few more chairs, but the prices weren't bad for Nashville and I really value automotive places that treat everyone equally! read more

Staff provided very rude customer service to the man in line in front of me. After messing up his order they wouldn't take his coupon claiming they had already given him an "upgrade" for free. My order was also $10 more than quoted and took over an hour. I was told it came with a gift card that would arrive in the mail when in reality it was a series of information surveys that result in a confirmation number that doesn't work. I paid $77.56 just for them to put oil, they didn't add air to the tires, they didn't check if my car needed coolant or any other type of fluids. 3 days later one tire was low on air and my engine was heating up because there was no coolant in there. When I called them they said coolant would've cost me an extra $10 which I wouldn't mind paying but they failed to check if it needed it. My engine almost blew up simply because of coolant. Its like a scam because a gallon of coolant is 10.99 so I know they wouldn't use the whole gallon. Anyway, Never again. read more

Just needed a simple oil change. I've been here before and had little issues. After waiting an hour they informed me the oil filter bolt head was stripped and needed to charge me for a new one. First they were the ones that stripped the bolt and now they can't get the oil filter removed. It's been two hours on watching them trying to do an oil change. I went this past Sunday (my only day off each week) and presented a Groupon for the Signature Service. Everyone was courteous. I was soon told that they didn't have the oil filter for my 2022 Kona. Nor did they have the oil filter for an older subcompact sedan that was brought in at the same time as mine. I was told I could try a location farther north in an adjacent town. I went here because i am used to Jiffy Lube prices in San Diego, CA. I arrived and was kind of shocked at the price for a synthetic blend oil change. ($75+!) Other options around town were not ideal for me that day, so I sucked it up and prepared to pay that price. I only waited about 15 minutes for them to finish my oil change. they of course checked my other fluids and filters. Everything came back just fine, and they did not pressure me for unnecessary items for my car. (I hate that.) My service guy even did a few coupons for me, and after taxes and such, it was only $75. It would have been more without coupons. I didn't even ask, so it was nice that they were looking out for me in my best interest. I will definitely be returning to this location again. :) read more

These guys are great. I've been taking my car here for as long as I've lived in East Nashville. The guys don't try to do a hard sell but they do let you know what the manufacturer recommends. They'll also be honest and tell you if you don't need something. I've always been able to get in and out of there quickly as well. I have a K&N filter so they never need to replace it but they always let me know if it needs a cleaning. For a chain lube place....this one gets my approval. I'm not one to give chain auto service joints great reviews, but this Jiffy Lube is always on point. They don't try to sell you products and services you don't need but alert you to things that actually matter (like the time my left front strut was completely worn out). The prices are reasonable (there's always a groupon) and they'll spend the extra time to do simple little fixes (like fixing my hood latch, rigging my license plate light so it works again) as part of the general service. Add to that very courteous staff and quick in and out time and it's a winner. read more

What a great staff at this location. They were all so friendly and courteous. Jay, the manager-in-training, was like the energizer bunny. He ran circles around that place making sure all the vehicles were being worked on, checking on the customers, helping out in the garage. I was really impressed! He has such great customer service skills. The air was out in the waiting room and it was a bit uncomfortable but he was there checking on everyone and apologizing. Can't be upset about something that employees can't control. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this location. Amazing staff! read more

Purchased a Groupon for this location. Pulled up and let the attendant know that I also needed a tail light fixed. He looked up and down my car, Toyota Corolla mind you, and says "whew y'all must be rich." Wait, this really just happened... He continued to say "well because Jiffy Lube is expensive!" He walked me inside, and told the attendant in the office we had a groupon, he then scoffed then let me know they're credit card machine isn't working today. They let us know we'll need to get cash, no biggie, I could have easily gone to get cash but after that experience I wasn't too keen on having work on my car done there. The manager was very kind and when he saw from the bay that we were leaving said he'd like to help in anyway. I'll have to go back to use that groupon... It was time for an Oil Change, tire rotation etc on the van. In addition we knew it was time to replace the battery as it was having trouble cranking. All the work was completed, the staff were on point and off we went. 4 stars there, and this was our second visit after moving to the neighborhood. However Two days later the Van won't start! Obviously a bad battery there was not enough juice to turn it over. Rather than getting a tow, we called the store, explained the situation and expected them to send a tow out. However District Sales and Operations Manager Anthony Riggs came to the house! He evaluated the battery and saw that it was defective. Mr Riggs made a trip to pick up a new battery and return, install it and made sure everything was working. This was not even his district-he was pitching in to help out. These guys make sure your car is in the right shape it needs to be in and will give you great advice if there's issues with the car that needs to be worked on. I go here on my lunch break every few months to get my oil changed and tires rotated via Groupon. The wait is never that long so this is a plus. One disappointment that I encountered today was an incorrect tire rotation... I specifically asked for a 4-wheel drive rotation and they did their front to back. My vehicle wasn't vacuumed out at all and didn't seem to have had the rain-x applied either - This was marked as 'completed' on my receipt. These are just little things, but tiny annoyances because I paid to have all of this done correctly. I get that they're busy during lunch time... but, please treat every customer as if it's your only one. Also... who do I relay this information to because it doesn't seem to ever get across correctly?! read more

I was only in town for a couple of days and needed a place to get my taillight replaced quickly. Since I wasn't familiar with any local mechanics, I figured the nearest chain repair shop would do. There were no other customers there when I arrived, and the mechanic who welcomed me noted how quiet it had been there that day, so I assumed a taillight replacement would just take a few minutes. Instead, I was there for nearly 45 minutes. When they finally finished, I began to drive away and quickly noticed a crack in my windshield that had not been there when I arrived. I turned around and pointed this out. They gave me a Jiffy Lube customer service phone number and extension to call and make a claim with a representative named Chuck. I called immediately, reached his voicemail, and left a message. That evening, a car behind me flashed its headlights at me; I pulled over and found that the taillight they'd installed had burned out only hours later. I called the customer service line the next day and the next day and continued leaving messages with no call back. In the interim, I brought my car to a Midas and asked them to check to see if there was a greater issue that had caused the taillight to burn out again: they did and told me that there was nothing else wrong and that Jiffy Lube had simply installed a bad bulb. Finally, five days after the incident, I received a call back from Chuck: he asked me what happened, even though I had explained that in multiple messages, and told me he would call me back after calling the store that had replaced the taillight and cracked my windshield. It was then another eight days before I heard back from him; when I did, he told me I could go to a nearby Safelite to have my windshield replaced and that Jiffy Lube would cover the expense. I made an appointment with Safelite and wnet on the appointed day and time only to be told that Chuck had given them the wrong year and model of my car, so they would need another day to get the correct windshield for my car. I called Chuck again and asked what Jiffy Lube was going to do since they had now failed to successfully replace my taillight, cracked my windshield, and wasted my time making me go twice to get the windshield replaced. His response was that this location denied responsibility for having cracked my windshield, so he was "50/50" on whether or not to pay for the replacement. I asked how they could deny responsibility since my windshield wasn't cracked when I arrived but was when I left. He said "That's your story. You have no proof that they cracked the windshield." So apparently, in order to do business here, you must photograph and document every part of your automobile; because if they mess it up, they're going to deny responsibility and tell you to prove it. I know that every Jiffy Lube is different because they are franchised and run by different people, but I cannot imagine going to one again unless an emergency forced me. I certainly will never go to this one again, and I would warn everyone else to avoid it as well. read more
