When I tell you I had the BEST service at this Jiffy Lube... you better believe it! I recently had car troubles, but cannot go to my regular family owned business to get my car fixed (currently in small claims court with the owner ). At the suggestion of a coworker, I stopped in to this Jiffy Lube on February 28 and was helped by Arron, Alex & Mario. These men know their way around a car! How to change the oil? Check! What an engine looks like? You betcha! Where wiper fluid is supposed to go? Arron has you covered!! In no time, I was was back on the road! The workers were kind, helpful, and provided great service! I have used this particular site 4 times. Each time I had great service and friendly employees. Someone acknowledges my presence almost immediately. "Yes - I'm here for an oil change" - "I'm sorry sir, I'm the only one here and I can't do it while alone. (Understandable) and the other person won't be here for 30- 45 minutes. Had the oil changed in my car today then later on noticed while driving down the highway that they didn't bolt the cover back on underneath. Which resulted in it dragging badly and having to call road side assistance for them to tow and fix. Very inconvenient and quick careless job. Please always check everything before leaving this place so hopefully you don't end up stuck on the side of the road!!! Will never use this place again! read more

Stopped here after going to a dealership and being told they couldn't do my oil change for a week. Mike let me know it would be about 40 minutes before they got to me. I understood as they had a rush of cars. Everything went great. Mike kept me updated on timing. He was amazing with each customer as well as with me. Very personable. I typically get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube because I know what to expect from them and I like familiarity, even if I'm at a different location. I visited this Jiffy Lube for the first time recently and what they provided was NOT what I expect from them. One of the things I really like about Jiffy Lube is while the do try to up-sell you on extra services, they always talk them through with you and show you the prices. The man helping me came in to the waiting room and suggested some items to me. He didn't invite me to look at the computer or say the prices or anything and when I said "no" he pushed it. No means no, ok? Another thing I really like about Jiffy Lube is when you check out at the end, they go through everything they did to your car. This didn't happen either. The lack of both of those things makes me feel like they were trying to pull a fast one on me. I reviewed the receipt at the end and everything looked correct, but I don't know why they were not more transparent with their service. Also my service took almost an hour! Not exactly "jiffy" and I had the only car there when I arrived. I did request some services (tire rotation and new windshield wipers) but I don't know why it took so long. One more minor thing that isn't much of a big deal, but shows their level of customer service. When I arrived, they hadn't set out the coffee yet (they'd been open at least 30 minutes). I told them no big deal because I don't drink coffee anyway. But a second customer came in about 30 minutes later and they still hadn't brought the coffee. It just seems lazy to me. read more

This Jiffy Lube had air-conditioning water from a condensate line on the roof overflow. Not much worked on the computer side of the business, However, oil changes were taking place. This Jiffy Lube is worn-out, and dated. At the very least, it needs a paint-job, and a very necessary cleaning; the chairs replaced as well. Essentially, it needs a complete renovation, with the possible exception of the floor in the office area. The staff does its best to be polite and efficient. However, given the dismal work conditions, it is surprising that the employees can muster any enthusiasm at all. There are only enough people to man one of two bays. One wouldn't be wrong to suggest that ownership is running the business down, taking as much out of it as can, without protecting its investment. read more

Only could do oil change. Do not attempt fix anything else there. They bring big problems when doing an easy belt replacement. I actually fix car myself and I know how car works. One time I need to change my alternator belt, I did not have time so I let them do it. It looks like that's the first time for them to do this work, very unprofessional. Even worse they break my power steering during the belt change. Also the tried to shirk and prove my car was like that before. Since I don't really have time to deal with them so just leave. read more

Last time I was here for an oil change and service they broke a valve stem, then told me I had to pay to fix it because they "warned me that it could break" when I was there over 6 months ago. Zero. A 15-year customer, happened to lose my envelope that they couldn't replace (even though I'm in their system). I went out of town to get ONE oil change, and the manager felt the need to chastise me and let me know he'd top me off, as a FAVOR, even though he told me i should have had more recent oil changes. In his words "There's no excuse" for this. According to my sticker, I'm good, as far as oil, I'm ok on most fluids. This man said I must receive an oil change with the antifreeze that cost 3.99 in total. Refused to do anti-freeze and now have zero windshield wiper fluid. Went to Midas on 27th & Iowa and gave me the whole look and top-offs for free!!!!!!!! I'm due for some stuff, and will take my car there. read more

I honestly haven't visited this place in more than a year, so I apologize to the owners if they have fixed things since then. However, my experiences have kept me away. I used to be okay with Jiffy Lube - everyone always says they offer unnecessary services, but I felt strong enough to be able to say "no" when I felt uncertain about a job. I warmed up to this particular Jiffy Lube after a couple visits - they were friendly and helpful, and told me about some potential issues, but didn't make a hard sell and I felt comfortable. However, my lever of comfort decreased with each following visit. The final time I went, the attendant seemed overly friendly, and then a mechanic showed me how dirty my air filter was like in a terrible infomercial. The friendly attendant promised all sorts of discounts, and then because I was on my 3rd (I think) visit, I could only receive part of it. Fine. When I got my car back, there was grease on the inside of the door (I have a tan interior) and they left the paper mat, and in general I felt there was little care taken to keep my car clean. I was further upset to (finally - I feel silly about this) notice that the oil change includes a carpet vacuum. I don't believe I have ever received a vacuuming. My initial experience here was good, but it just got worse each time I visited. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed and a turn signal replaced. It was pretty fast and the staff was friendly. However, when my car was finished and I drove away, I only got four blocks before white smoke started coming out of the back of my car in clouds. TONS of smoke. So I stopped, and called the store, and the manager told me that it had nothing to do with the service I just got, but to come back anyway so he could look at it for me. Drove my car back, before they even drove it into the garage they told me that I had blown a head gasket (based on the way it smelled) and it was no fault of their's. I ask them to please check, as it's a pretty darn big coincidence if something unrelated to the service I just got happened as I drove away. 30 minutes later I was told that oil had been spilled on the heat shield and it was just burning off. I asked them to please check the trans fluid once more before I left, and they couldn't figure out where to check it from. They were supposed to check it while doing the original service, but just skipped I guess because I drive a manual and it has to be checked from beneath. My point is, they were so adamant that they had nothing to do with the problem my car started having four blocks away that they didn't even bother to check for the most obvious solution before telling me I basically need a new car. I really can not believe the level of unprofessional displayed by not only the mechanic but also by the manager. I will not be getting my oil changed there again. read more

Went to this store today, thought maybe with the early bird special i could get a good price. NOPE! They lied about the price of the oil i requested, told me it would be $8 more and ended up charging me $20 more.. They refused to reduce it to the amount I agreeed to. Yes filing a corporate complaint as well. The guy that walk in behind me told them he no longer wanted their service and left. So in one service they lost two customers at least. A coupon could not get me to go back. read more

I went into this location for an oil change at 7am. They had just opened so there was no line. When they came in to have me select my service for 0w-20 synthetic oil, I was told "they only had the $80+ and $90+ packages in stock". This package was supposed to include window cleaning and vacumn of the interior. When I got in my car, I had two widget stripes and still had numerous spots where bugs had been, I doubt the vacumn had even been turned on let alone my floors being vacumned. I can and do wash and vacumn my car but for this price and since they claim they are included, I expected them to be done! While waiting I also noticed that NOWHERE do they have the package prices posted or what's "included" as many other lube shops do. All these things make me SERIOUSLY question their integrity. They probably would have tried to up-sell me but since my vehicle is a 2016 and clearly new, they probably decided not to put int the effort. Not Surprising, I just read another review saying that jiffy lube is supposed so go over what was done after the service is complete. The ONLY thing I got asked was if I wanted a receipt. H**l Yes. They didn't even put the 'next service due' sticker in the window. He filled it out and handed it to me to put on the window. PATHETIC read more

Went to Jiffy Lube for the first and last time. I don't live in Lawrence but I was in town and needed an oil change so I thought I would give them a try. I was the only vehicle in the place so it wasn't like they were so busy they couldn't keep up. They finished the oil change in a decent amount of time, other than having to listen to the music blasting the whole time I was there it seemed to go pretty quick. It was raining the day I was there so when they finished I just got in the truck and left. When I got home I walked past the front of the truck and there was oil smeared all over the hood, front bumper cover and the trim around the grill. I don't mean just a little bit, it covered almost the whole front of the truck. I drive a white Tacoma so it wasn't like they couldn't see it. I don't know if this is typical of all Jiffy Lube locations, but I would not recommend EVER getting service on your vehicle at one of their stores. I contacted customer service about the oil on my vehicle and they told me I could take my truck back in and have it cleaned if I wanted to. First of all, they are not touching my vehicle again and second, I live 75 miles away, not exactly a good option. I guess I did get a "Please accept our sincere apology" from the district manager.
