I went to Jiffy Lube to get a routine oil change. I went through the process and it was fairly simple. Two days later I noticed that my car had been leaking oil so I brought it back to Jiffy Lube. I had to wait for over two hours to get some sort of response when I finally got a response from the employees, they had told me that I needed a new drain plug in that they would be ordering it. At this point I was already late to work. So I Ubered to my job and they called me two minutes later to tell me that my car was ready for pick up. months later when I got my new oil change, they informed me that the wrong size drain clog was placed into my car, and then it was crooked and removing it would be virtually impossible. Overall, Jiffy Lube screwed my car over and cause permanent damage would not recommend. read more

While visiting the area I needed a quick oil change. Upon arrival they were very friendly & quick to greet me. After choosing the highest quality of oil change (or so I thought), a seasoned employee, Troy, spoke up (after looking under the hood of my car)& said that he recommended a specific top of the line oil that was the same price. That really made me feel good! It goes to show they have my best interest at heart! I was out of there in 10-15 min! I highly recommend this location. They are kind, efficient, know their stuff & want the best for your car & aren't trying to take your money. I most certainly recommend this jiffy lube! Troy and the other guys there were absolutely awesome! I came in for an oil change but they let me know my breaks were in pretty rough shape. They put no pressure on about it at all- just let me know. I asked Troy if he could fix it for me today- even though they closed in less than an hour. He said sure- even when it became a bit of a bigger project he helped me out all the same, going out of his way to have someone go get a part from a near by auto store- and charged me all the same. These guys are hard working and put their clients first- awesome experience and definitely plan on going back there again. Thanks Troy and team!! read more

Upon arrival I was told it would take about an hour to do a simple oil change. I am now sitting here 2 hours later. My vehicle was pulled out front over 20 minutes ago and no one has come out to take payment. No one wants to sit and forced watch young and restless for no reason! Never, never again. First off, oil change (with synthetic oil) cost me $93.84. Second, about a week after I got the oil change, a large plastic piece under my car (near the front, the skid plate) fell off and started dragging along the road. Took my car to another Jiffy Lube and they said I had to bring it back to this one to have it fixed. This Jiffy Lube is TWO HOURS AWAY from my house. I called this Jiffy Lube, and they said I had to have it fixed at a Jiffy Lube franchise owned by the same owner. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube in Harrisonburg, VA last week to get an oil change and to check out an issue I was having with my breaks. I had been hearing a loud squealing noise every time I braked, so I told the workers about it for them to find the source. They looked at my car and told me the issue was coming from my front break pads and that they needed to be replaced. Trusting their advice, I agreed for them to replace them and pay $211.08 for the service. I left Jiffy Lube and continued to hear the loud squealing noise coming from my breaks, even after their service had been complete. Confused, I returned to Jiffy Lube the following week to follow up and let them know that replacing the front pads did not resolve the squealing problem. They took a look again and told me that it was actually the back break pads that needed replaced. They told me and I quote, "thankfully it didn't get to the back rotors, or else that would be a whole other problem." Upset that I had already spent $211.08 on their previous advice, I decided to trust their word again and pay ~$200 for the back break pads to be replaced. After waiting two hours in the waiting room, they finally finished the job and took the car on a test drive around the lot to ensure the problem was resolved. It was, in fact, not resolved. They came to me and told me that the back right rotor needed to be replaced, even though they had told me two hours earlier that my back rotors were perfectly fine, as I quoted earlier. They then told me the replacement would cost over $300 to replace the back rotors. I could not believe this. They offered me poor advice TWICE, while still charging me both times (~$400 total), and still expected for me to continue to pay them for yet ANOTHER replacement. I did not to go through with it because I didn't want to be out $800 in just one week and continue to trust their word when they had failed me two times already. I feel awful and jipped that I'm out $400 and that I continue to have the same problem on my hands. I'm requesting a reimbursement or some sort of refund for the poor advice these Jiffy Lube workers gave me. They didn't properly check my pads/rotors to find the true source of the problem and still charged me over $400 for the total cost of both replacements, while I'm still out here driving a car with bad rotors. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Overpriced even with a coupon! When I went to pay, their machine wouldn't accept my card as credit and I never use debit so I was stuck there unable to pay! the manager blamed ME for his equipment failure. He asked I could go to the bank and get the cash. My bank is a small mom and pop which is an hour away. Then idiot manager 'tried' to run the card by typing it manually but he didn't know what the hell he was doing so it was declined and he continued to blame ME! As I stood there w/ my two kids knowing full well I had the funds (I even double checked the balance via my bank's mobile app) nervous as to what I should do they continued to embarrass me in front of other customers!! The other employee tried AGAIN manually and it finally went thru. He told the manager that he did it wrong so that is why it didn't go thru. I go NO APOLOGY! Also, they only vacuumed the front of ,my vehicle and refuse to do the rest b/c my kids and TWO small toys and a diaper bag in the back. BS Pure laziness!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

I could never quite figure out what I'd be paying; many multiples of $20 were stayed by different people. Wait was 3x stated length. Substantial coupon wasn't applied. Supposedly, my windows were cleaned. Perhaps i picked up debris in the exact same spot as it had been before they cleaned it. A plus: No extra upcharges were suggested. I used Jiffy Lube to pick up a U-haul. I usually use a different location but this location was much closer to my house so I tried them for the first time. I had an appointment set for 9:30 and was on time, someone said they would help us in 5 minutes and we had to wait 40 minutes!! We finally went out to ask someone again if they could help us and they did without an apology. They shorted us 2 moving pads when they said they were all accounted for. Thankfully I counted them there and was able to get the missing two. They also left the tank empty. I have used U-hauls many times and this has never happened! I am appalled! I will NOT be using this Jiffy Lube for anything in the future and I highly do not recommend it to anyone else. read more

Manager, John at the Jiffy Lube in Harrisonburg, Va, was extremely rude and arrogant when I arrived to return my Uhaul rental truck. Although I was schedule to drop this rental at this location, John wanted to know why I was bringing it back there. He refused to check it in, and told me to just leave the keys in the door, though he was outside and by the parked vehicle at the time. He told us that we should probably take it somewhere else, and explained that the last person who brought one there was charged extra charges. When my wife asked his name, he said " I am John, and yes...I am the manager". He came very close to making me lose my temper with the agressive and rude way in which he was talking to my wife. We were both shocked to be treated with a total lack of respect, and from a manager, at that. We are just moving to Harrisonburg from east Tennessee, and will need a garage to do vehicle services, but you can rest assured that we will not give John a nickle of our business. I also will be sure to tell everyone on Facebook, other social media, Better Business Bureau, Yelp and everywhere else I can find a sounding board, about the unproffessional management team at location #444 on East Market Street in Harrisonburg. This man doesn't have the people skills to work, let alone manage, in any profession that comes in contact with the public. I am 57 years old and have never complained about any one in a public arena before, but I assure you that I will let all that I can, know about this man and this business. read more
