This WAS our go-to place for vehicle inspection and maintenance. Today, my wife left work at the Sheriff's office to get her Jeep inspected during her lunch hour. The heavy set woman came out, was not pleasant, got her license and insurance information and told her to go to the waiting room. Then with greasy hands drove the Jeep into the bay. My wife paid and went out to her Jeep. She had to buy another container of wipes to start cleaning the grease from everything the woman touched. I know inspections are going away in January 2025 but this does it for us taking any of our 5 vehicles there again for anything. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube as always to get my pickup inspected. The guy came out and said they weren't doing inspections today. I ask why not? He said there's only two of us here. I looked all around and in the service bays. Not a soul to be seen anywhere. I said well there's no one here. He said sorry we're not doing any inspections today. I almost laughed because it was so incredible that he couldn't take 5 minutes for an inspection when there wasn't one customer to be seen anywhere. After the local Valvoline shop turned me down for my inspection, stating that my window tint was "too dark," I came here. Now, I've had this car for 6 years, and have never changed the tint on it. Prior to this time, it had passed each and every inspection without an issue...but now it's too dark? Yeah, right. People here are VERY friendly and helpful. Prices are compatible, and the waiting area is quite clean. Service was done in a very short time, and I'm good for another year. Oil change went without an issue as well. Great job, guys and gals! Jiffy Lube - Front of building. - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Granbury, Texas

I have been using this facility for 6 years. This morning I was going for a state inspection. It has never been clear the proper drive they direction. There were cones out blocking one area, but the other entrance was not blocked off. One garage door was open. I pulled around back and met by a gentleman who's first response to me was "Did you pull thru those comes?"... obviously irritated. No I said, I came in the entrance and pulled right thru. "We're not doing any cars today and haven't done inspections for a month!" Poor customer service. I will start going elsewhere. read more

My elderly sister went here for a car inspection and oil change. She is on a very tight budget, because she is disabled. I believe they took advantage of her because she was elderly and didn't know any better. She paid over $100 for an oil change and inspection. When you factor in the cost of an inspection is $7 or $8, you can see how much she paid for the oil change itself. Should be ashamed. read more

I came to this store twice today. The first time I asked for inspection and oil change. I am asked to pull around to Bay 2 and was guided in by one of the techs. Apparently, you have to stay in your car now. As he is checking me in, I asked him if they had my filter, because Jiffy Lube doesn't normally have it. He yells down my filter number to the pit and guy in pit says we don't have that one. I told him I wasn't surprised since I had that issue last time. So, for now, they complete my inspection. I asked another guy what my options are for the oil filter. He says, "you can buy one at an auto parts store, bring it back here and we can change the oil for a discount". I paid for my inspection and go purchase an oil filter for 11.49 + tax. I return to Jiffy Lube within an hour and provide my filter. By this time, they have added staff members. A different guy comes to check me in. He asks me if I want the same as last time and I tell him I want 5W30 because that's what was in it before (when I had it changed at dealership). He says OK and removes the sticker from the inside of my car. He does not ask any further questions (such as conventional vs synthetic). He takes my filter down to the pit and I assume he began changing my oil. It's warm outside and I'm sitting in my car, window down the entire time because the lobby is closed, assuming due to Coronavirus. During this time, a wasp flies into my car and I must step out for fear of being stung. A few minutes later, one tech asks me to start my engine. It runs for about a minute and he says to turn it off. The guy from the pit returns a few moments later and I hear him ask how to provide the discount for providing my own filter. He enters into the computer and comes to me and says "it's $86.18". I repeat it because I am shocked that it costs so much. He said "yes" as he shrugged his shoulders. I reluctantly gave him my card to pay. When he returns, I ask him why it costs so much. He replied, "we are the most expensive place in town". He was not able to provide any other information. I told him the dealership doesn't even charge that much. He doesn't really say anything else at that time. He guides me out and I ask him how to reset my meter in my car. He was able to help me but stuck his dirty hands inside my car and managed to get oil on my door panel, which I later had to clean off. Long story short, I did not get what I paid for. In addition to the above, my windows were not washed, my car was not vacuumed, and my air cabin filter was not checked even though it was marked on my invoice that ALL those things were done. I know these things are normally done because my dad used to be a manager for another Jiffy Lube store. In addition, the "discount" was only $10, which is less than what I actually paid for the filter that I had to PROVIDE. I WILL NOT be back to this store. I am disappointed that they cost so much considering the fact that I had to provide my own filter. The dealership only charges $40 and does the same things that Jiffy Lube is supposed to do. The only good thing I can say about my experience today is that all of the guys were polite and did not try to sell me additional services or parts. The main reason I came here as opposed to anywhere else to get my oil changed is because they're supposed to check all your other fluids, check tires, etc. There's a huge list of crap they're supposed to do and they only changed my oil. Disappointing to say the least considering I just paid $70 for an oil change. I don't think I'll be back to this Jiffy Lube location. read more

There were only two people in the store today, but my receipt says there were three. My receipt says my exterior windows were cleaned, and my floors were vacuumed but none of that actually took place. It also says the job was quality checked by a person who wasn't even there. No services other than oil change were offered to me and no opportunity to ask questions was provided. On top of that, I called the customer service number in Houston and got a recording saying they were closed after 7 pm, yet the time was only 5:15 pm. No more Jiffy Lube for me. read more

Stopped in early Sunday morning for Signature Service oil change. My first visit at this location. Did not vacuum interior, did not clean windows, did not check wipers. Checked tire pressure only after I requested. Other fluid checks were cursory at best. I will NEVER return to this Jiffy Lube. read more

Just left this establishment and am very upset with my service. They were given explicit instructions to NOT start my truck without allowing the glow plugs to go out first! Evidently, my instructions were not shared with all involved in my service today as I watched a kid jump in and immediately start my F350 when service was complete and the woman at the counter was made aware of this and said she would pass it on, however I was made to feel like it was no big deal! This is VERY important for maintaining the life of the glow plugs. read more

The people at Jiffy Lube are what really make the experience! My family brings all of our cars their including my work vehicle. They have the best service in town and are always willing to go the extra mile. When jiffy lube bought the old texaco shop that was there I was a little worried but I still see some of the familiar faces from before like TJ and Brad and Jiffy Lube maintains that same level of service. DO NOT USE JIFFY LUBE IN GRANBURY, TX. A Jiffy Lube employee left the plug off of my differential during an oil change which caused me to loose fluid for several hours until my husband noticed it. Upon taking it back and buying amsoil differential fluid Jiffy Lube put the fluid back in my differential. The manager offered to do a transmission fluid change for free for their mess up. We went and purchased amsoil tranny fluid for it and they changed it. Less than 500 miles from the time they changed the tranny fluid my transmission started slipping due to lack of fluid in the transmission. The store manage and the Jiffy Lube warranty specialists I spoke with said it's their fault and they'd fix it. Today the warranty specialists called and said they have denied the claim and I am out of luck. What the specialist said that the inspector did was is a lie. I had my vehicle at a local transmission shop for the inspector to come and look at it, the owner of the transmission shop was with the inspector and said that the inspector didn't do what the warranty specialist reported that he did. Also the warranty specialist told the inspector my tranny was leaking from the tranny plug, I don't even have a tranny plug. The basis of the claim denial according to the inspector there was no way it was Jiffy Lube's fault sine there was no tranny fluid leaking from the tranny plug, that didn't exist. But according to the warranty specialist the inspector found no metal shavings or burned smell in the tranny fluid (which I remind you was new, because the fluid Jiffy Lube of Granbury put in had leaked out) and was never drained by the inspector, so he was inspecting by what came off of the dip stick, so I'm not sure how the inspector checked for shavings or burned tranny fluid when it was new fluid and was not change and any metal shavings would have settled to the bottom anyways. When I addressed the conflicting of stories that of the transmission shop's owner and the inspectors report with the warranty specialist out of Irving for Jiffy Lube, he stated that the case was closed based on what the inspector found, which was nothing because the warranty specialist used inaccurate information to write the claim. This has been a complete run around from day one. read more
