We only needed one tire and Yolonda and Mario worked with us to pick the right one and have it installed to continue our journey. They not only gave us a great deal due to our plight, they didn't try and upsell us on a complete set since the other 3 were still in great shape. I listened to them deal with other customers and they treated everyone with the same respect and caring they treated us. Mario also let me know of a program the State of New Mexico has to reimburse for destroyed tires and damage! I am going through the process now and it looks like we'll get the tire and hotel costs reimbursed. We never would have known of the program otherwise. I cannot say enough good things about A-J Tires, I wish they were closer as they'd get all my business. They are top-notch people with very fast service. More businesses could learn from them.

I mentioned that I've recently had foot surgery and couldn't walk all the way home so a team-member drove me home (I live very close) and picked me up when my car was ready. We arrived at 8:15am. The guys up front banter as if they are in high school. Watch out for hidden costs. Ask for all costs and fees upfront. If you walk away for a bit to eat, make sure you call regularly. Bring head phones and an extra battery charger to watch a few movies. The TV is on junk shows and soaps. I felt tortured. What kind of choice is sitting in the sun or listening to Dr Phil blaring on the tube? Don't let these guys get a hold of your vehicle. So the one supreme saving grace of this place is the mechanic known as Harold. He is a suspension wizard. I will be back to have him replace some parts. They do outstanding tire work, they have knowledgeable mechanics on duty, and have a full service garage. Their labor rate is very reasonable too.
