Jiffy Lube 112 Federal Rd, Danbury CT 06811 All the oil they put in is on garage floor! Looks like they put a wrong filter or the gasket. When I arrived at Jiffy Lube associate did not know how to start my car (press the button). When I was ready to drive off I was asked to give them a car for another 15 minutes. They new they did something wrong. Still profuse oil leakage! My numerous attempts to call them did not succeed. Autoreply option to talk to associate caused hanging up on their part. Not people you can trust... I brought my car in for an oil change and asked them to please give a quick look at my brakes and let me know if they'll need replacement soon. I figured since it was already up on the lift, this would take 5 minutes. If he needed to charge me extra, I was fine with that. When I was paying, I asked the manager about the brakes. He looked at me with an "Oh I forgot look" but instead of just telling me that, he told me they were fine. They weren't. A couple of days later I could hear some grinding. I took the car into the dealer and as I suspected, they were very worn down not safe. I wrote to customer service and received a call from someone who told me he was the owner, and he would send me a "make good" for my next oil change. Never heard back... There are a number of oil change operations in Danbury to choose. I'd find another. read more

Stopped in for an oil change before heading out on a last-minute road trip. I usually go to the dealership, which requires an appointment well in advance, so it was great to be able to just pull in and receive a desperately needed oil change before our trip. Hand the guy, (nicest guy by the way ) , my coupon and he apologized and said we don't honor coupons, the sign is wrong. He can't take sign down till corporate says so. I stopped by on Mother's Day and wanted my oil changed. They just started a new policy that you have to stay in your car while the change is being done. I left because I needed to go to Home Depot. But Jesus told me come back and you will be out in 15 min. I came back. Drove right in. They changed my oils, checked all the fluids. Checked the tire pressure and were as nice as can be!! I'm done with Jiffy Lube... they are too "scammy". They are nice but always looking to pull a few more bucks out of you or offer a discount and then "forget" to ring it in. Or put a 5000 mile reminder on a full synthetic oil change (should be 7500 mile reminder). Or $50 for a cabin air filter??? I are you nuts? "No,no, I can do it for $40" - wow, big savings. I said no way and ordered a better brand for $9.98 on amazon prime while I waited. And $100 for a full synthetic oil change??? I can get 5 quarts of top quality Mobil for $26 at Walmart so they get $75 in labor for a 14 minute job? Oh wait, they also give you some blue water for your washer reservoir - that makes it worth it :-/ And if my wife goes... forget it. They totally try to "up sell" her way more useless things than they do for me (a guy). "Your radiator cap is in bad shape mam, we can replace it for $40". "Looks like all your internal drivetrain fluids have not been changed in a while, lucky for you we are running a special- only $230" Going to my local garage where I don't need to be on scam alert the whole time. They make sure you're satisfied with everything before moving on and they don't try and sell you on extra crap just to take your money. Jiffy Lube on federal road in danbury is the place to go if you are in need of an oil change, tire rotation, or anything in between. I am extremely satisfied with their work on my vehicle. (I had a tire rotation and an oil change) DG provided great customer service and had a positive attitude. He was extremely helpful. He helped me figure out exactly what I needed, and took a look at the undercarriage of my car (because I ran over a raccoon a few days ago) free of charge. Poor communication skills. The workers seem like they are just going thru the motions and don't really care. If you don't mind a long wait and poor service? This is your place. FOR YOUR SAFETY - PLEASE READ THIS! I have NEVER GIVEN a NEGATIVE REVIEW. I'm going to start this - the team at the Jiffy Lube on Federal Rd. in Danbury have always been courteous, helpful and an overall pleasure to deal with. I always get my oil changed there and I've been going there for years and have spent thousands of dollars there over the years, I don't touch under my hood, that's what they're for. They changed my oil on Wed. June 10th. On Sunday Oct. 21st, traveling on 84 East in Newtown, CT, my hood without warning FLEW OPEN AND SMASHED MY WINDSHIELD WHILE TRAVELING 65 MPH, CRACKING MY ENTIRE WINDSHIELD, SEVERELY DENTING THE HOOD, FRONT SIDE PANEL AND HOOD OF THE CAR, hitting us with such force, so fast, I had no idea what hit me. I thought someone had thrown a file cabinet off an overpass. I had my 9 year old daughter and 13 year old son in the car and it took my son to scream, OMG it's your hood before I could figure out what happened. I was able to get to the side of the road, just able to see under the hood that was covering my windshield to pull myself together and assess the magnitude of what happened. Thankfully my children were ok because I didn't slam on the brakes or panic under the circumstance. I was barely able to get out of my drivers side door because the hood hit with such force it pulled up the corner of the side panel up and was restricting the opening of the drivers side door. Out of the car, I was able to get the hood down, and forced down to seem secure, until I was able to have some friends help me bungee cord and tape it down. The windshield was destroyed, my daughter was on the verge of hysterics. Thankfully neither of my children were injured but they certainly could have been. I know mistakes get made sometimes. Things aren't secured as well as they should be. But you're dealing with people's lives. Maybe just a little more training. Maybe just one extra safety check at the end. I was willing to leave it at that, please be more careful. Angel in the Danbury Jiffy Lube apologized profusely, he got it. He felt for me and my family. I've been a faithful customer for years. He assured me the company would do the right thing. This is terrible, he felt so bad. Unfortunately the Corporate office wants to play hard ball. They don't want to take responsibility, it was 11 days ago, maybe I had opened my hood, maybe I had released the hood and didn't close it properly. So THEY PUT MY FAMILY AT INCREDIBLE RISK AND NOW THEY WANT TO SAY I MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING, I'M RESPONSIBLE, NOT THEM. Ok, so an extremely heavy hood has been resting unsecured but it took an extremely windy day while traveling on the highway to catch under my hood and crash into my windshield but because it was 11 days ago it's not their fault?????????????? I advise YOU to NEVER GO TO ANOTHER JIFFY LUBE EVER AGAIN. YOUR LIVES ARE AT STAKE. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT SECURE IT PROPERLY, THE CORPORATE SAFETY FOLKS DON'T THINK IT'S EVEN THEIR FAULT. For those using Jiffy Lube, beware! This was my 2nd visit. I went to the Federal rd Jiffy Lube location with my 2016 Acura yesterday.. The first time a few month ago they told me I needed additional services and I trusted them and accepted them.I took. I went there yesterday and they did the same thing. They charged me $94.99 for the oil change, synthetic oil where at Acura I paid $59.95. Then they told me I needed a radiator flush for $109.99 and added fluid for another $39.99. I only have 22,000 miles on the vehicle. I went to the Acura dealer and they told me I DID NOT need a flush & coolant and that was way too much for an oil change. I did not need an air filter with only 22,000 miles. I then googled jiffy lube only to learn that many other people had the same problem. One guy sent his son to have his oil changed and the son came home with almost $700.00 worth of work done on his car. I will never go back to Jiffy Lube again. Beware, maybe just kids and women that they do this to? . I would suggest you check the blogs on this location, this happens often there. What a rip off even with the coupons which still brought me to MORE than if I had the work done at Acura. Now I wonder if they even used the right oil. I am sticking with Acura, big mistake. read more

Just keep your guard up. One guy booked me in, and then guy number 2 did the transaction on the way out and tried to charge me for the synthetic oil for a standard oil change. I have been to the Danbury Jiffy Lube multiple times. And always had good service. Friendly, quick, and my car is left very clean.

This was the worst oil change experience I have ever had. I was told it would be quick and it took almost two hours. The employee checking me in and out also promised a 50% discount on front and rear differential and a new air filter for $15 and when it came time to check out the bill did not reflect any of those charges. The man kept trying to add coupons and random discounts and give explanations that were unclear and confusing. I asked for a print out of the bill, got out my calculator and added it up and it still wasn't way over what he had promised me. He then offered $25 off my next service by writing his name on the bill and signing $25. The whole thing was such a scam. I should have known as I waited and watched two customers in front of me argue their bills...one even accused him of lying...which is exactly what he did. Do not trust this business. It's extremely overpriced and they will try to scam you. Extremely dishonest. I also complained to jiffy lube corporate office and they referred my complaint to the franchise owner and I never received any response...they don't care about their customers at all.
