They are professional and attentive. They no longer sell license plate stickers, unfortunately.

If your own website says you close at 4:00 PM, then a car that comes at 3:39PM should be serviced. I was turned away, the worker stated they close at 3:45, but already have a car, so they won't have time. Also, another employee was smoking inside the shop. I'll use my regular garage from now on, even though making an appointment is not convenient. At least I know they know the importance of quality customer service. read more

Jiffy Lube - Screen shot of jiffylube.con showing closing time at 4:00 PM - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Champaign, Illinois

Always friendly, fast, and thorough. I appreciate the great service. I also appreciate knowing I can drop by for a tire check or more windshield fluid at any time. read more

They didn't properly seal a gasket, so I get home and oil is leaking all over my driveway. Luckily I noticed the day of, otherwise I would have been screwed. I brought it back and they fixed it without and hassle, but that's the kind of thing that can lead to disaster and ruin a car. Not cool. Will definitely be looking at other lube shops next time. read more

I came here at 8:00 am and as I pull in someone was there to greet me and guide me into the parking spot for my ex boyfriend's car to be serviced. The goal was an oil change, but there were lots of maintenance that needed to be done like the coolant was empty, the cabin filter is filthy with leaves and dust, and since the car is being driven across country I said yes to getting all the things done including a tire rotation. They pulled out a bunch of nest materials left behind from the family of squirrels that lived under the hood. The other guys who fixed the wiring never even did that. They made things super easy here and the pricing is reasonable. Service has been incredible since I came in. read more

Two major issues with what they have done and why I will never go back: 1. I saw that the tire pressure was low after an oil change. I went back. They looked at it and said that I should drive around a bit more, or take it somewhere to check if the dashboard lights are accurate. Days later, no change. I went to a gas station to put air in the tires myself, but the light stayed on. I went for my next oil change and had them check again. They said there was no problem. I went back to Arizona, and the first person I went to found a nail in the tire that Jiffy Lube didn't see over three visits. That's incompetence or laziness, neither of which you want when you are dealing with your car. 2. They forgot to put the cover on correctly after my last oil change. I was driving cross-country, and the cover broke off halfway through. It was completely damaged so I had to go replace that as well. I was unfortunately not able to take this receipt back to Jiffy Lube since I had this work done three months before I returned to Champaign. This is also the most expensive place that I have gotten an oil change, even after the coupons that they offer. read more

Great service, no wait 9:15 am on a Tuesday. Friendly employees who answered my questions and were knowledgeable!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Took my car to my mechanic after an oil change here, they forgot to put on a gasket after the oil change and caused severe engine damage. Lost pretty much all my oil and needed engine rebuild. read more

Good place for an oil change. They're always able to get you in and out with little wait time. They also have online coupons for discounts that are always available. Workers are always nice and not pushy about trying to pressure you into extra services. Keep up the good work! read more

The shop guys are always SO POLITE and ultimately extra sweet. They have excellent customer service and I always feel like I'm being treated fairly. Their billing is straight forward and they always talk me through what's going on with my beater car. They're so honest and are happy to explain what they're doing and why they're doing it. Also their location is perfect! read more

Ripped off! Paid over $70 for an oil change! They lied and said that dealerships in the area use synthetic oil, so I agreed to have that done. I found out when I got home that my car had always been using regular oil - always changed at the dealer up until now. Told me that synthetic oil needs to be changed every 5000 miles. Tried to up-sell all sorts of filters - I didn't get any & still paid over $70 for an oil change! I sure hope that changing from synthetic to regular doesn't damage my engine! read more

Had an excellent visit. They were professional, quick, concise, and respectful. Very impressed with this location. Will continue to patronize and will def recommend to friends. Thanks for the great experience. read more

2/21/2015 I stopped by to get my oil changed on my way home. When I pulled in, I was greeted immediately and shown in to the waiting area; where they had a clean restroom, complimentary coffee, and an array of reading materials. They did a thorough inspection of my car and alerted me to a few lights that were out, a serpentine belt that was beginning to crack, and a cabin filter that looked like it was quite the cozy home for some wild field mice. The manager was able to work out a great deal with me and I was able to get it all taken care of in about 30 minutes. I will most definitely be returning for my next oil change. Thank you so much for the outstanding customer service that your professional crew displayed so flawlessly!! read more

Fast and friendly butt the prices are RIDICULOUS and they only have penzoil, one of the 2 worst oils you can put in your car. $57 for a synthetic blend oil change! From now on I'll just make an appointment at a dealership where they'll use Valvoline, Mobil or Castrol for literally HALF THE DAMN PRICE! read more

This jiffy lube is probably one of the best places I've ever gotten my car serviced at. The people are very friendly and take care of everything. I was able to get my oil changed in less than 10 minutes. Not to mention they vacuum out your car for you. Jiffy lube is just way more convenient, than booking an oil change with a dealer a week or 2 in advance, then having to wait almost 45 minutes for a simple oil change. I drive a lot for work so being able to head in there whenever and getting the oil change out of the way is a winner in my book. I have no complaints about these guys. read more

Have taken my used motor oil here for years to recycle it. They were always friendly and happily took the oil. Today they were rude and said it would cost $10 bucks to recycle my oil. Ran up the road to Walmart where they happily recycled the oil for free. It's important that oil retailers accept used motor oil for recycling. Shame on you Jiffy Lube! read more

Very very rude staff! You go in for service and they talk down to you like you don't know a thing about a vehicle. They try to push all kinds of additional services on you and then get even more rude when you decline. My car smelled like someone had smoked in it when I finally was able to leave, very unprofessional place! read more

They lost me as a customer when they told me I was 2 months late for my oil change...according to my millage I had 500 miles to go. They said I have to get my oil changed every 3 months, and not to go by millage. I have been going by millage since I started driving. I never drive 3,000 miles in 3 months. I called around to ask if I couldn't go by millage then what is the point of writing it down? And everyone told me they were just trying to get more money out of me by having me come in more often for oil changes. I may be a female, but I'm not stupid and I don't appreciate being misled and taken advantage of. I will not be returning to this location for anything. read more

I come here every time I need a oil change. I never have any problems with them. The staff is very friendly. They get the job done fast and well. There isn't much more I could ask for. I would definitely recommend this Jiffy Lube over anywhere else. read more

I took my car here for an oil change and told them I didn't want them to put Dexos synthetic oil in my car, even though that's what the cap says. It has never had synthetic oil and doesn't need it. They told me they " CAN'T" put anything but in the car and were pretty rude about it. I'll take my car to a place where they respect the customer's requests. read more

They do a competent job and, its true, you're in and out in under 30 minutes. Even so, I'm not a fan because they like to nickel and dime you for extras. Each time I've been there, I've had the person on the computer will breeze through options without explaining the cost difference between the different types of oil. The most infuriating thing is when they say something like "We recommend that you get your radiator fluid flushed at X miles. Would you like to do that today?" when they can clearly see that my car is 15,000 miles from that benchmark. Why would I get a service that isn't recommended? Their approach to customer service is bizarre. read more

I've been going to this Jiffy Lube for about 10 years to get my oil changes. They always do a good job! They do quick work, are knowledgeable and they don't try to trick you into getting services you don't need. As someone who isn't a car person, I really appreciate their honesty. Today, I overhead the man at the counter give an elderly gentleman a discount when he saw that he was a veteran. He also opened the shop door and the man's vehicle door for him as he had a cane. I really love patronizing establishments that will do things like this. It is so nice to see people who will go out of their way to be kind and make sure customers have a good experience. I will certainly be back!! read more

I always go here for an oil change. Once I went to Car X instead and it was super slow, although cheaper. At Jiffy Lube, it is super fast, they are so kind, and I have yet to have any problems there. My toddler once knocked on the glass window and waved to all of the service men before I could catch him, but they weren't annoyed at all. Every single one of them stopped to wave back and smile to my son. Fabulous customer service. On another occasion, I stopped in because I got a flat tire on my way home. They filled it up just to let me get home. I was surprised to read the reviews on smoking/having a smokey car.. I have never had this problem. It looks like each of those reviews were in March of 2015, so perhaps that was just an employee that worked there for a bit. read more

Awesome service! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and they really care about their customers. Skip the search- just bring your car here and they will take care of you. read more

So fast!! They go over all the recommendations so its easy to understand. Plus they had the stuff that my Chevy needed right then and there. They had the doors open so it was nice to be in the lobby. I brought bills to pay while I waited and couldn't even finish. Highly recommend. read more

Pretty efficient and recommend their early bird specials

Very polite staff! Very thorough going over all the information and prices - couldn't use a coupon I had but they gave me another one! Been here before will come back again - got me in and out in no time read more

This place is the most efficient and has great service! We waited 3 hrs to get oil change at Ford and in and out at Jiffy Lube ... ( didn't even look at my watch and they were done! The staff and manager go above and beyond .. even open doors for you. I recommend this place to get good service while making you feel special because they care. Thank you to all the staff read more

This is my favorite oil change shop in Champaign or Urbana. The employees are friendly, they greet you the moment you drive on the lot. They escort you to and from your car never have to open the doors. They have free coffee and magazines in the lobby. They are VERY detail oriented, the check air filters, my tire pressure, washer fluid, transmission fluid as well as power steering. The managers are will to work deals for you as well to get you the other part of preventative maintenance taken care of. A lot of folks think by just changing oil they are protected. The guys here at this shop make sure to help with ALL parts of preventative maintenance. read more

The Neil St Jiffy Lube never fails to impress me. I went there yesterday after work and it was about 40 mins before they closed, but the guy there was nothing but honest and friendly with me about time expectations, about how they try to get everyone in but there is no guarantee that close to closing. Completely understandable and expected! They were so fast and efficient though, they got the 2 people before me finished up, then me, and then 2 more people after me! All throughout this they were handling each one of us with the most amazing customer service. They are always so straight forward with your car's needs and their billing. I never feel pressured to buy something I cannot afford at that time, and they never make me feel embarrassed if I don't know what something is or why I need it; they just explain it in the most simple terms and in a respectful way. You never feel taken advantage of because they are always so candid with you about everything. Last night the employee who rang me up even offered me a coupon for $20 off that I didn't have, just to save me money. His name was Devin and he was just a stellar leader all around. He kept that last hour of business running like a well-oiled machine, making it the best care for both his employees and his customers. read more

I've taken my car here for oil changes and tire rotations (every other visit) since I moved here 6 years ago. They're slightly cheaper than the dealer, and their up sell is actually a little less pressured. But...they would always pressure me to get a cabin air filter...until I looked online and saw that the dirty filter they showed me was a different shape and had a different frame than the one in my car. They stopped the upsell after that. Then, I started having performance problems with my tires. The tires were new when I started going to Jiffy Lube, so all of the rotations were done with them. The tires only had 30K miles on them and they were 60K tires. I know they can wear early, but that is really early. They became unbalanced during pothole season. It was more convenient for me to take the car into my husband's long used tire place, so I did, and they said my tires were so unevenly worn it looked like they had never been rotated. They had to be replaced. That explains my poor performance! But, Jiffy Lube lost me as a customer. read more

Over-priced and very pushy on getting extra sales. I somehow got talked into spending $130 for an oil change when it usually costs me just $40. I hope whatever they did was worth the extra $100, but it's hard to tell. At any rate, the staff was very helpful, nothing got stolen from my car, and they were very quick. If it wasn't for spending so much more money than I usually spend, I would've given them a 5 star review. read more

Staff is great was in and out in 20 min. Added bonus they will air your tires up anytime for free!! But they don't repair tires so if you have a nail in your tire GO TO TIRE REPAIR PLACE. read more

I'm a girl who doesn't know a whole lot about cars and they didn't push extra services! I cant say thats ever happened to me before so I was very pleased. The service was fast too and they vacuumed my car. I'm not exactly sure what type of oil I have though but otherwise i'm very happy! There's a 5 dollar coupon on their website too. read more

Smoke-filled garage. I gasped walked through the garage area to get to the lobby, but couldn't take my car back by that time. Now my car smells like smoke. Sent a complaint to the corporate offices, but I doubt that'll change anything, now that I see another reviewer has listed the same complaint. I usually go to Kirby Tire in Urbana and will make it a point to schedule ahead to get decent, reasonably priced service without the push for a bazillion other things. read more

They always take good care of my car. They do it quickly and very professionally. Thank you to all the staff at Jiffy Lube on Neil!

Worse place in town! They smoke in the garage area and when I left my car smelled like an ashtray. When I complained the guy shrugged his shoulders and said sorry. Having asthma his "sorry" wasn't good enough. read more

I was just in for the first oil change with Jiffy Lube on my Kia Sorento. I voted the tires and changed the wiper blades. No problems. Cost is what is expected from a place like this. The men that work there are hard-working. There was a situation that happened before me where an older man claimed there was money taken from his car and this is unfortunate. On the one hand it is totally possible, but more than not I'd think he had forgotten he used it or gave it to someone. I've been there. I made accusations and I was wrong before when I was younger (20s and 30s). The manager gave the man $10 from his own pocket to remedy the situation saying sternly that his men wouldn't do such a thing. I believe him. This could ruin a business and can really make these men's already tough life harder. I've been on both ends of this case. As a worker and here as a client. The older man who I spoke to briefly before and afterward seems like a decent man, but I think he is mistaken. It is always a risk to give your car over to anyone and especially when you can't see what they are doing, but I have no complaints. The manager even gave me a $10 discount. So he lost $20 that day just to please this customers. I will go back again. read more

They were very helpful, polite and quick. I would recommend them to anyone who is short on time and need a quick oil change. They only recommended what I needed and made me aware of what I would need in the future. I will definitely go back. read more

I wanted to try this place out since it's so close to where I work, but I will not be going back. I took my car in for a standard oil change to then be told that they can't change my oil because the last place that did it (a different company in Champaign) stripped the screws (or something along those lines) and that I should go back to demand they fix it. I didn't want to take my car back someplace that supposedly messed something up the first time, so I ended up taking my car to my mechanic instead. He then told me that they were wrong and he had no problem changing my oil. I'm not sure what their intentions were..? Possibly make the other company look bad if I would go back and claim they messed something up? Also, my boyfriend has taken his car here and they claimed he had several lights out. When he brings the car home to fix himself, there's only 1 out of the 4 they claimed to be out. I would ask to see the lights before you allow them to fix it. read more
