They identified 2 oil leaks and when the oil was changed they inadvertently fixed one leak simply by tightening the drain plug. The other was fixed by my handyman with a metric wrench. Saved me a bundle considering it's a Jaguar. read more

Took my vehicle to the Dare Palm Jiffy Lube to get an oil change, after picking up my vehicle I checked the oil dip stick and discovered the oil was dirty the oil filter looked like it had been replaced. I then did an oil change and filter change myself checked the oil repeatedly it is clean. I do not think they actually drained all the oil and replaced it. I would not recommend returning and if you do check your oil before you leave the premises! read more

On Thursday, 7/20/23, at 2 PM, Juliana was very friendly and said that Jiffy Lube could perform an oil change for me. I brought in my Amsoil and oil filter, as well as my engine air filter and cabin air filter. Juliana said they could change everything. I was then told about 45 minutes later that her manager told her it was taking too long to change the air filter, so they could not change it. Upon receiving my vehicle back, I had all kinds of warning lights on my dashboard. I immediately returned, and Juliana apologized and said they were "rushing me," so I forgot to plug the wiring harness back in. She then had to get a tool to "reset" the engine codes to clear the alarms. Today when I opened my engine hood, I noticed that my car is missing many plastic grommets that hold the grill and engine filter box together. Everything is all loose, and I am agitated as this was not how I delivered the vehicle to them. I asked Juliana when she said she couldn't change the engine air filter when she would put my car back together. She said, "Yes," obviously, this was FALSE, and they only wanted to get my vehicle out of the garage. Buyer, beware, this is not where your vehicle can be serviced unless you want a disaster. read more

Couldn't get an oil change because they were out of conventional 10W-40 oil in Cathedral City, CA. Amazing!!!

$132 for an oil change and filter. Ford Explorer. Took 50 min to access my oil pan and put the skid plate on. Lucky for me I found an online coupon for $20 off while I waited. Attendant were nice but price & time was not worth it. Definitely wouldn't come back. Should've just waited at the dealership. This'll show me.... Ohh and $5 for a little coolant. The BEST customer service I've ever experienced. After going to three places to get quotes for a coolant flush, Jiffy Lube was the best price at $139.00. After agreeing to have it done, they said it would only take 20 minutes. The other places said 2 hours. Then, after looking at my coolant and testing it, Gerardo, the technician helping me, came and told me my coolant was fine and only needed a top off, which would be $5.99. I was shocked and very happy about this. The honestly goes very far and I will return here for future services. Thank you Gerardo and Dominic at the check in counter. Jiffy Lubes says what you get to receive for your visit on their web page. They DID NOT perform all the services for me. Tire pressure was not checked, plus wipers and windows were not cleaned. (* I knew a wiper was bad, and a tire was low on pressure *) They said nothing~ My wait was one and 1/2 hours, as this location was slow, with only 2 other vehicles ahead of me. (not enough staff) I was told I needed 2 front new tires, and I just purchased 2 new front tires three months ago. HUH? This store does not do what you are paying for and lie to you. I gave it 1 more star, as the lady assisting was nice, and kind. I would watch what they do here, as they will allow you to sit in your auto/SUV. Terrible service today, at this location~ I will not return to this location again, even though it is super close to my house. read more

Came in to get an oil change, because the " change oil light was on. " I had changed my oil in Mexico, but they can't turn off you need an oil change light. Julianna was so professional, I explained that I had changed the oil in Mexico. She said would I like her to see if the oil was still good. I said yes and it was still good. I had to pay for a synthetic oil change the correct and professional way and had to buy a new oil filter cap. I had to pay 254.00 for a mistake that they made and they didn't take responsibility. I called corporate and they don't reply cause I shouldn't have to pay 254.00and I want to be refunded, the mechanics said the engine could have blown out and the car would be worthless. If you read THIS jiffy lube is so unprofessional, when they were working on my car they had a trainee who didn't have to any experience and he was working on my car as well. Check the prices for oil BEFORE they service your car/truck. I didn't think to ask how much because I've been going to Jiffy Lube for 15+ years. A simple oil change cost me $102.00! The same grade oil I was charged for ($82.99) can be found on Amazon for $35-$38.00. Jiffy Lube would get the oil at a much cheaper cost due to their volume purchasing. Price gouging? I took my car to the jiffy lube in Cathedral City today for an oil change. When I got back into my car the windows were dirty and had not been washed. I tried to wash the windows only to realize that they had not checked my fluids. There was no washer fluid. I was out of washer fluid when I took the car in. I went back and asked the manager what was included in the signature oil change. He told me oil change, new filter, check fluids, check battery. I asked him if they washed the windows and lubricated the door hinges....they used to do all this, and he said they don't do that anymore. Their oil change is $80. I would think that for that kind of money they would at least wash the windows. The manager said he would personally check my fluids, fill the washer fluid and have the windows washed. No sorry for the inconvenience or anything. This was the first time that nobody came in to try to sell me additional services. Needless to say I will not be going back to jiffy lube again. I guess the days of getting quality service is gone. It used to be that when you took your car in they put paper mats on the floor and covered the drivers seat. Not at jiffy lube. read more

Jiffy Lube was a nice quick alternative to going to the dealership and waiting three hours to have my oil changed. Unfortunately what you sacrifice in time you pay for in money. They did give us a veteran's discount which was nice, but the price was still at least twice what we would have paid else where. But let's hit you with the pros. All the workers at this location were pleasant and efficient. They worked with each other like a well oiled machine. Everything in the location was pristine and they were very open about what they were doing. You could see the dirty oil coming out before they put in the clean oil etc. We ended up buying a new windshield wiper from them which they installed and it wasn't much more than buying it at the auto supply store. For me, this was a much more pleasant experience than others and I would recommend to those who have a little extra cash to avoid the wait read more

Worker came out of office and told me they were painting bay so not accepting customers, but we're not closed. Advised I could come back in an hour or two and see if they were taking customers, but again wanted me to know they were not closed. What? If you aren't taking customers or doing work, you are closed! Not sure why he is insisting they weren't closed, but clearly were closed with no signage saying so. I went for an oil top off ($5 to refill my coolant) and had trouble finding my wallet at the end of the transaction .... I informed the manager, Adrianna, and she said she would just comp me.
