After going to Romeoville location, and it being closed (???) I came here, they were super nice! However they let me know that they are out of the filter/oil for my car. I told him this was my second location and I'm over on my mileage (oops ) he said I could drive up the street and buy oil and a filter at auto zone so I did! Right when I came back, it was quickly changed. The waiting room is so small and the chairs are horrible, but the people at this location are great 02/16- came here again, they got new chairs ;) service is still wonderful! Quickest location I've ever been to, also the people who work here as so nice and sincere. I really don't ever feel taken advantage of. I asked if I needed a tire rotation and they looked, said yes and then said they couldn't do it though. Apparently the 3rd garage with the lift is broken... so please get that fixed. JIFFY LUBE'S SYSTEM CAUSED THOUSANDS IN DAMAGE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give zero stars, I would. Jiffy Lube's flawed system lists an incorrect oil filter as "compatible" with my vehicle, and their refusal to take responsibility has cost me over $4,600 in repairs. THE PROBLEM: Their system wrongly lists an oil filter that is NOT compatible with the 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi, OF2222-MO10060. The correct filter is Mopar MO-899 or one similar in size and function. This incorrect filter was more than half the size of the OEM filter (see photos) and they used it in multiple oil changes, leading to severe oil pressure issues and catastrophic engine damage. The technicians followed their system, but the real failure lies with Jiffy Lube and their inaccurate parts database. HOW JIFFY LUBE HANDLED IT: Refused to acknowledge their mistake, even when I provided proof from a certified mechanic who confirmed the incorrect filter caused my engine issues (damaged lifters, camshaft, oil pressure switch, starter and 100% blocked oil screen from blown filter paper remnants requiring five oil flushes to clear). Ignored clear evidence proving the damage was caused by their system's error. Denied my claim completely, leaving me with thousands in repair bills due to THEIR negligence. DO NOT TRUST JIFFY LUBE! If they can't even get something as basic as an oil filter right, why would you trust them with your vehicle? Their refusal to take accountability proves that they don't care about their customers--only profits. SPREAD THE WORD! I'm warning everyone: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Admitted by the employee that made the mistake with picture proof. They left my oil cap off and it caused a lot of damage to my engine. While a major mistake and honest one but when the owner ducks you and corporate for compensation for the mistake. This is a dishonorable location and I strongly recommend against it. I'm not sure where all the of bad review come from, my experience here was great. This place also has several coupons they accept, I'd recommend looking them up before you go in. I came in for an oil change and was greeted right away. The different options where explained to me and I chose what I thought was best. There were a few other problems with my car and I asked to have them explained and shown to me and for the costs of the replacements. I never felt pressured into paying for something I didn't want to. Changing your oil and maintenance on your car is never fun, especially if you go during a busy time, but this Jiffy Lube location was fast efficient and answered all of my questions , I'd recommend it. read more

The tattooed, gold toothed homeys from the hood that staff this place will try to sell you everything under the sun. And let's face it, you either don't need the stuff, or if you do, you can execute the remove and replace for one tenth of what Jiffy Lube will charge you. I successfully avoided purchasing any of the superfluous nonsense that was stridently proffered. So after waiting a good half hour for my vehicle to be serviced, I watched as the high school drop out jabbed at my LCD screen for another ten minutes as he tried to figure out the method with which the "Change Oil" light is reset. Finally, my vehicle was ready to be driven away. And as I was driving down Route 53, I noticed a rather deep nick in my simulated wood steering wheel. I called Jim, the manager, and he made great ceremony of having me rush back to the shop so that he could take photos and immediately start a claim. I took the vehicle back, and as you might suspect, Jim was not there. The assistant manager, after essentially stating that I was crazy, took some photos with his Iphone 2, and indicated that he would get the ball rolling. It has now been three weeks since the incident and I haven't heard a word from this location or the Heartland Group-the company that owns this Jiffy Lube, along with about 300 others. I would also add that physically, this place is a dump-second rate equipment, tiny waiting room, a restroom in the middle of the shop. I recently went in. They did not have the oil I needed, and instead of asking me they assumed I would leave. I then asked then for the synthetic, which they did have and did give me. My issue came with the rudeness in the way they spoke with me and the fact that they did not fill my tires with air. I don't believe I will be returning to this location. They did offer a free oil change but I live nowhere near Bolingbrook so I'm not going to make it out there for an oil change. Was not allowed a refund, fine. I went into this Jiffy Lube over 20 years ago and never went back. I'd received one of those little postcards telling me it was time for an oil change. My husband was in the Army at the time and was away from home--he usually took care of things like that. I was passing Jiffy Lube and noticed there was no one in line, so I pulled in. They put my car on the rack and the manager came over and got right up in my face and started berating me because the milage on my car showed it wasn't time to change it yet. He started asking me things like, "What, do you just enjoy getting your oil changed? Don't you know how to read? What are you stupid!" in front of the entire shop. I told him if it wasn't time for any oil change then just take my car off the rack and I'll be on my way. But he continued saying belittling things to me for another 5-10 minutes before I got my car back. I never yelled back or cursed or got insulting with him. I just kept asking to get my car so I could leave. That was in April 2002. I NEVER took my car back to that or any other Jiffy Lube in over 20 years. read more

I would rate them lower if I could. Nice upfront but sorriest actual work ever. I paid for "signature" service and one of the guys actually lied and said he vacuumed my car and did not. Then he lied and said he topped me off which he didn't! And on the receipt they wrote that I declined window washing when not only did they NOT ask me, but it's just a given that you wash the windows for "signature" service. AND although it's recommended that my car get synthetic oil (or a blend), they left me no option as if I had to get it. I feel like they are scammers and I'll NEVER go back! I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change despite poor ratings on Yelp. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. Only two employees were working and only one car was being worked on. I waited about 10 minutes and they brought my car in and had me sit in the waiting room. I noticed they put a plastic seat cover over the drivers seat to prevent any dirt and grease from getting on my seat. They also vacuumed my front floorboards. It took about 20 minutes to complete. My boss called me in the parking lot and I needed to answer his questions so I was on the phone for 2 minutes and when I got off the phone I was 8 minutes late. I normally go to the dealer to get my oil changed but because of the auto workers strike this was not possible. I overheard one of the workers on the phone with the local auto part store ordering an oil filter for my car. Last I checked, a 2012 Chevy Cruze is not a unique vehicle. I was there for 2 hours. Got home and after a day noticed a bit of oil on the driveway so jacked up the car to take a look. The bottom of the oil pan was moist with oil and I noticed the drain plug was different. For starters, the head of the plug was all buggered up. My guess is they drained the oil, didn't catch the plug, let it fall in the used oil, and didn't feel like fishing it out so just put a different plug in. Hope they realized it also requires a plug gasket. We'll see after the strike when I have it re done the right way by professionals instead of a bunch of high schoolers. read more

This was the worst oil change experience. It happened about six months ago and I had a bad taste in my mouth then. First I got charged too much and they try to do the upsell on everything. Then they didn't reset the computer To make the oil change light go away, so I went back and they had to YouTube how to do it. No new sticker when to get a new oil change. This place has definitely got the worst customer service I have ever seen out of any automotive shop in my over 20 years of driving. Disorganized employees who don't seem to want to work, paired with bad attitudes and a manager who is so professional he won't even give you his name make for the perfect storm of awful. Long story short I needed up not allowing them to work on my car and called corporate from their parking lot. While I was on the phone they asked me to leave or they would call the police for loitering in their lot. Corporate obviously did not allow that to happen. The "manager" would t even come speak with me before he was yelling and telling me he was " too busy to talk to the customers." On a bright note Patrick at corporate and Rich who is a regional rep were super responsive to the issue and were able to calmly hear a customer complaint without yelling and swearing. read more

My big comment is that they didn't post an advertised price for an oil change but I thought how much could they charge for a simple oil change with no options that i know i don't need. I would not suggest this location, or even company now to anyone. My car will never run the same. I brought my car in to get an oil change. Everything went well and they were quick. The next day my engine light came on. I checked my dipstick to find that THERE WAS NO OIL IN IT. I called and told them this, the manager told me to drive it in. I asked him why would I drive a car that has no oil in it. He suggested if I wanted to put a few quarts in. Thanks for suggesting I drive my car that has no oil. I put a few quarts in and drove it in. The assistant manager helped me. From there all signs pointed to them being shady. He fed me a story that his buddy from the military owned the same car I did and had the same issues around the same mileage. They filled my car with oil, turn the car on and the guy under immediately told him to turn off the car. They removed the filter and informed me that it was a manufacture defect. They also never showed me the filter and got rid of it right away. The assistant manager also fed me another story. He claimed that Honda engines were built to run for a little bit WITHOUT OIL. He said that he didn't notice any other issues (all he did was shined a flashlight into the engine for 15 seconds) And continued to tell me there were no issues and he would notice them by now and no issues would come out of this down the road. The issues were fixed on their end. Really? So here is what I have learned from this place: - You can drive your car without oil, its okay. - They screwed up and instead of admitting it it, feed the customer stupid stories. As you can tell, once they knew they messed up they covered it up telling me they fixed everything on their end. And no issues should arise, because if there are they fixed all the issues on their end remember? Typically I am a very understanding person. We are all human and make mistakes. Unfortunately they decided to cover it up. Just read the other reviews, horrible place. I rather pay more at the dealership. To be fair I did contact jiffylube and their area manager called me. But I had such a bad experience there is almost nothing they can do to fix my car. It no longer runs the same and won't last as long as it should. read more

STAY AWAY! I once had my oil changed here and they forgot to put my air filter back in. I had to drive 20 minutes back to get it. They had originally told me they would reimburse me the oil change, but when I got there they stated that their register was closed and that they could only offer me oil change coupons. Like I'm going to return to this place again????? My friend's gps disappeared at this place as well. The cherry on the top is that a family member went there recently and they forgot to tighten the lug nuts. The result? Find out from Midas that the rattling he was hearing from the car was due to loose and missing lug nuts. Jiffy lube has yet to reimburse him for the damage they caused. After first oil change found oil very overfilled (was puffing smoke on startup) Went back to rectify and it was changed, Started hearing lifter tick for a few seconds at startup (car has 23k) - Went to the dealer and oil was found to be overfilled AGAIN. Jiffy Lube Corporate would not authorize the dealer to correct the overfilled oil, Been back and forth with them for almost 3 months. If you value your car or your time STAY AWAY, For your own good. Upon my visit I was greeted by a gentleman that was sitting in a parked car in the lot. Followed by another gentleman who was also sitting in the same parked car. The second gentleman approached me and I gladly handed him my fleet vehicle coupon with all info on my vehicle and fleet company. He asked me twice which fleet company I was with even tho he had all my information..... As I walked into the waiting room in which I was not escorted to the waiting room or offered coffee, water or informed that magazine's were available to enjoy for my reading pleasures as other locations have in the past. I was able to notice that this facility did not have a door to seperate the service bays and waiting areas... May not be an issue to those who are around the smell of oil, but to those who are not I see that certain customers would not be okay smelling all the oil. They charged me $80 for an oil change and said it didn't include any other services, after initially telling me it included tire rotation, all fluids topped off, tire pressure check, etc.. I've been to plenty of Jiffy Lubes and they've always included this in the price. The lady that rung me up was very rude and said since they are a franchise they don't do what other Jiffy Lube normally do. I honestly don't even think they changed my oil since the guy that pulled my car in started working on another vehicle.
