A simple oil change at Jiffy Lube on Sat, Feb 8 has erupted into a huge mess where the car was not drivable for over a week until they replaced the fuel line. What happened was a part of their oil cylinder broke off into the tank while they were performing the oil change. They admitted fault and removed the piece. As a result, the fuel line needs to be replaced which they are covering. On Monday, the fuel line was on back order until Thursday. Going onto Thursday, they received the incorrect part for the fuel line and the car is still sitting there and not drivable. A bus ride on Friday, they were not able to remove the existing fuel line because they didn't have the correct wrench. And a week later on Saturday, it was corrected. I know that stuff happens in this field and the store manager, Jennifer, was very helpful and accommodating to the extent in which she is allowed. They did a complimentary car wash and added a little fuel to the tank. Overall though, this problem should have been addressed and corrected on the day this mess happened. I'll be paying extra for future oil changes at the dealer service shop. read more

I went into Jiffy Lube just for a simple oil change and ended up experiencing what felt like a complete scam. My car is a 2022 with very low mileage, fully up-to-date on maintenance, and has never given me issues. Yet, while I was there alone, they tried to convince me something was wrong with my battery and alternator and attempted to upsell me on over $600 worth of repairs I did not need. When I declined, they suddenly claimed they couldn't get my car to start, then tried to tell me I'd need a new battery (which of course, they'd be happy to sell me). It felt extremely suspicious, like they were trying to create a problem that wasn't there. I later learned this is a common scam tactic and that they even use machines that give false readings. Sure enough, I took my car for a second opinion the next day--and guess what? My car started just fine, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the battery or alternator. I truly believe they saw a woman alone and thought they could take advantage. This experience left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of, and I want to warn others to be careful. If you just need routine maintenance, I strongly recommend going somewhere reputable (like your dealership) and avoiding Jiffy Lube altogether. read more

I brought in my Honda for an oil change. I went early on a Thursday morning and was the first one there. Service was definitely quick because the oil change was done after 15 minutes! I had a coupon so it ended up costing around $95 for a full synthetic oil change. Definitely much quicker than visiting a Honda dealership for service. read more

First got There and had 2 people discussing cause they did not help to guide where to drive in and then They told me a need a air filter asked how much they said $30 and they charge me 39.99 plus 5.97 disposal . I'm always hesitant to come to these places. I'd rather a car dealership do it but it's so much. My boyfriend got his oil changed here from a Groupon (because I love Groupon). It was super fast but it was also at 10am on a Wednesday so there was no wait. There are no appointments you just go and it's first come first serve. They have a bathroom inside and complimentary coffee, drink vending machine, magazines, and a candy machine lol. The tv wasn't playing anything but jiffy lube services. There are some chairs inside while you wait. If you're there for a long time there's plenty of food places to go to - McDonald's, Taco Bell, Chinese, and a bar. Just because they tell you you need something done doesn't mean you need to do it there. Make sure you get a second opinion on something's but if you've noticed your car is having issues you might want to get it fixed. Work with them on prices. read more

Service: very comprehensive and complete Price: a lot of up-selling but nothing shady Decor: they have a smallish waiting room with 5 chairs, a restroom, a coffee maker...bare bones but enough; best is the large picture window from which you can easily see just about everything going in in both bays. You can also see the bins of very clearly labelled Penzoil motor oil types (e.g. 0W-20 vs 5W-20) so there is no confusion. There are two entries on Yelp for this business with slightly different addresses, so I posted on both. You drive up and a worker with a placard asks what you want, offers a few checks, then gives you a price. However, be aware that they will open up all of your filters without asking for permission; they show you the filter and offer replacements if they are filthy, which is fine, but some people may find this technique a bit aggressive. They do a battery check in the same manner; their diagnostic has an easy to read display that they'll show you- my manager was very honest about everything and did not try to pull any tricks (e.g. he warned me my battery was low even though he doesn't carry my size battery). I agreed to two new filters on top of the oil filter & change, but he saw in my face I was a bit consternated at the money I decided to spend, so he took off $25 just because he could, without me even asking. They're making $ but they're not jerks about it. read more

Great deal on the Signature Oil change. Brought my 2009 Honda Accord in around 10:30 and was out by 11. One car ahead of me was almost finished. 4.2 quarts of 5W20, checked fluids (transmission, Power steering) tire pressure, chassis lube, wiper check, radiator overflow check were all fine. Vacuumed floors and cleaned outside windows all for about $25. I had a coupon for $19.95 for signature change. I was happy with the speed and quality of service. read more

The last thing I like to do is wait somewhere while my car is being worked on. I was hesitant about giving this place a try because of the negative reviews. I called around to other places first and was told my wait time would be approximately 2 hours. This Jiffy Lube had no wait so I thought I would give it a try. I was in and out in 30 mins. The staff were courteous and professional. I was offered multiple up-charges that I declined with the exception of 2 filters which I had never changed and my car is 6 years old. The manager was kind enough to apply a $20 coupon. When I left, they rolled out a red rug which I thought was a nice touch. I will be back! read more

I had a problem with my car after using a different Jiffy Lube and when I called to resolve the problem I called this one on accident. I was pretty upset, but the person taking my call was very calming. Then the manager called me back to resolve my problem, which is when we discovered I called the wrong Jiffy Lube. However, Eric, who deserves manager of the year, continued to help me with my problem, knowing that I wasn't his stores actual customer. He came to my home and resolved the problem! Yep...came to my home, looked and worked on my car and resolved the problem. He contacted the manager of the store where I was a customer the day before and let him know what was going on. I don't know the other managers name, but I am thankful that he too recognized the problem and resolved it professionally. I am extremely thankful for the professionalism, consideration and dedication Erik has when representing Jiffy Lube. He, along with the support of the manager from the other store, resolved the issue. Dropped my vehicle for a repair. Told them "it you can not finish the repair today, do not start it because I need the vehicle tonight." They said no problem. Then called and said it wouldn't be done today but also it's not driveable so I can't use it. This cost my company around $1000 for not showing up to a job and delaying a project. It costs 311 USD. I was abroad at that time, when I arrived on November 7 due to covid, I saw that the parking lot floor in the my condo was oily, I did not understand it at first, but then the yellow engine light was on in the car. After one mechanic check we discovered that there was not any oli in engine he told car almost fire engine gone because jiify lubee forget the oil filter tide the place immidiatelly We put oil in the car urgently, filter tactic and then we went to jiify lube and explained the situation and they told me they can fix the gas pump and the wiper water they broke before for $150, then they said come on Thursday. When I went they said 1800$ so I know they will help me When I said you did, they said it would be 1600$, I said, my friends said that this price is exactly double price times the market value because I asked other places to change the gas pump, they said between 700 and 800 dollars, the other repairmen said, but these friends said 1600$ and of course, they laughed at me and made fun of me. We will never forget that he spit on the very entrance of the shop. I complained to these friends to their headquarters, but unfortunately there was no result. In the end, give me back the 311$ you took from me to Mr. manager . they didn't, as you can see, there has been no result for 20 days. I was initially hesitant to come to this establishment based on the reviews here on yelp, but I REALLY needed an oil change! I actually had a VERY pleasant experience! Much better than at car dealerships. I was kindly informed that I need to drive around to the other side, before I even got out of my car, an employee came out to kindly ask if I was here for service. When I did drive around to the back I was greeted promptly and lead to the waiting area where my information was taken down. This gentleman was professional, courteous, and he actually looked at me while speaking to me. In fact they all did! I must of dealt with 4 different guys while I was there, and I never felt uneasy, or like they were being weird or sketchy, like they were trying to rip me off, cause I'm a girl and I don't "know about cars," (though I would venture to say my small bit of knowledge is more than most). On the contrary, it was always a respectful interaction! Perhaps it is the proximity of the customer to their to the car (because you can see everything that is going on with your car, from sitting in the chair in the waiting area), which lends itself to a more trusting experience. I don't typically wait around with a screen in front of my face, I sit around and observe or read. In this case I was just watching these hardworking guys, hustle! The were doing their thing, working hard, being a team, with a seemingly good attitude and friendliness as they shouted out their routine car protocols. Perhaps it is is the fact that these guys actually have to directly see and speak to the owners of the vehicles, that lends itself to a better experience. Keith and Benjamin were really sweet and helpful. Keith explained the findings of their routine inspection (my car needed some TLC) and was patient and answered all my questions. Benjamin who was working on my car let me come out see how he change the filter to my engine and allowed me to ask questions (so I could do it myself next time!) Again, I am a girl here, and it was not like they were hitting on me (at all). They were just sweet, helpful, friendly and respectful. On a final note, I should add that I had to return the next day, because I needed the engine belt replaced, and the had to order the part. My experience on day 2 was just as pleasant, if not more, for I had my 2 year old daughter with me and the guys that were there were again super friendly with me and her :) (despite it being close to closing time). Apparently, it is their custom to drive the vehicle out to the front and leave the door open and a red mat at our car door for you to get "red carpet treatment," when you are leaving the establishment. I got it on day 1, which put an unexpected smile on my face, but on day two, they left the doors open and put red carpets down for both my daughter and I! :) Way-to-go guys! read more

Understanding the car needed oil change, transmission and power steering... spent over 3 and a half ours for just a few minutes to get it done ( according to the tech) so after spending 400.00 ok.... fast forward a week later of course an oil leak all over the garage.... go back.... long line.... I ask the manager anyway to bring me in since it's just a leak???? No.....No I said after waiting and spending a TON of cash.... NO.....keep in mind to tighten a bolt is much quicker than an oil change AND I had nothing else to do but WAIT again for their mistake. It really troubles me how "service" is not in their vocabulary. I went here in September 2016. I went for an Oil Change for my 2010 Honda Fit. Upon "completion", I was informed that I needed a transmission flush as I passed 30K miles and there were shavings in my fluid. I was then informed that they ALREADY did the the flush. I was aggravated that they did it with out my permission...but I figured oh well because my car needed it right? WRONG! Now it's April 2017, I went to Honda for an oil change as I'm Driving to Las Vegas. I was informed during my oil change I need a transmission flush. I asked why as I just had one. They said the fluid is very burnt and that there were shaving once again. I said that's not possible as I just had one....they said Jiffy Lube used the wrong fluid for starters as my fluid should not be this dark in only a couple months...with only a couple thousand miles Added. This place is dishonest and a scam! I will never return to another Jiffy Lube again!!! read more

It saddens me when I need to do disservice to the business by posting negative review. It's frightens me more knowing the fact this place will take advantage of hundreds of people (especially our elderly's). I visited Jiffy Lube today looking for an oil change. Staff and Manger where pleasant (unfortunately incompetent) but I learned over the years to pay attention on what mechanics are doing. Hybrid vehicle requires special oil (gold synthetic). I've asked Mng. to make sure guys are using the correct oil and heard him instructing the mechanic working on my car. Of course he used cheap oil from barrel instead and start poring it in my car. Mng. noticed it after the fact and probably 20-30 floz latter and instructed him to switch to gold synthetic. Even though I payed $84 no one mentioned anything to me thinking I didn't see it. Also Mng. told me the coolant was low in a side tank and I've authorized extra charge on my bill for refilling it but it was never done. At the end, when Mng. was going over what has been done, tier pressure was on the list. After I let him know I have not seen anyone checking it, Mng. instructed mechanic to do so. (it is at the trivial thing but don't tell me something has been done if it was not.) Mechanics who drove my car out of the shop had extremely dirty hands and uniform (full of grease) and made inside of my car an oily mess. Once again, all of people I got in a contact with were were pleasant and respectful but this are my comments on their work performed. And just as a cherry on the top. Not even a half mile away from Jiffy Lube the front bottom plastic (one that covers the engine on the bottom of the car) fall off. I needed to pull on the side of the roads get under the car and temporary attach it so I can properly attach it when back home. Felt very disappointed about my experience at Jiffy Lube in Sandalfoot Plaza. I drove in last week because this place was very close to my home. I asked for. Premium synthetic oil change. I was given a sheet with a price quote of $99. After draining my oil and changing the filter they came back to me and said that the change required an additional three quarts and it would cost an additional $50. I googled the average cost of an oil change and found synthetic oil service ranged from $50-$100. The service rep said "yes, we cost more but we are fast". These guys are the best! Got three cars done there in the last week. They give you the groupon 20.00 credit toward your oil change without the groupon. ( just ask) Two of my oil changes were literally 20.00 and my dads high mileage oil change , filter change , fluid added and tire rotation was only 70.00 total. Worst service ever. I waited for literally over two hours. They had my car all disconnected and opened to change the oil. I've asked multiple times what was the hold up and why does it take so long just to change the oil. I wasn't sure whether they had the right oil or product for my car. I asked the manager Jerry if my air filter needed to be replaced and sure enough he said it was "ok". I looked at it myself and I'm not even a technician to realize that the air filter needed to be replaced. So they saw the frustration and that's when they all started to work on my car and me not knowing what they put in just to get me out of there. Not only did they rush the job, but Jerry who is the manager suppose to double check his guys work before they closed my lid and everything was done. After I paid, I went directly to Auto Advance store to pick up a brand new air filter to replace it myself. When I open up my lid of my car, I come to realize that the air filter tube was still disconnected, the compartment where the air filter lies were all unscrewed. I was extremely furious at the whole situation. I asked myself, can Jiffy lube who is a national company make such easy mistake and not have protocols in place to make sure everything was checked properly before releasing a vehicle. Still a question to be asked.!!! On the following day, while driving my daughter to school, I was on the highway and I hear this loud noise beneath my car. I pulled over and saw that the skid plate was not screwed back on at all or just one screw as I saw it. Not only has Jiffy Lube put my daughter and I in danger, but this is by far more serious and it needs to be address. I will handle this further with Corporate and this location should not service any other cars and put other lives in danger. We trust our cars under the hands of these technicians and now there will always be a fear of not knowing if they did the job correctly. Please take this review not as a rant against Jiffy Lube but a precaution for your life and others who may be affected by the bad service and unprofessionalism. read more

I went today to get an oil change for my 2018 Sonata. I knew in advance that the price for an oil change would probably be twice as much as it would be at the dealership. That is a choice I made and I expect to pay more for convenience and quick service provided by Jiffy Lube. I dealt with two technicians, Travis and Siobhan who were polite and professional. The high price of the service prevents me from giving 5 stars. read more

I have used other locations of this franchise before but would strongly recommend you avoid using this one. They charged for services they did not perform until I pointed out they had not done so. When I have my car serviced, I prefer to deal with establishments that actually do what they say they will. Nothing jiffy about this place. Always takes minimum 45 minutes to 1.5 hours when not busy. If they're busy just turn around because it's not worth your time. Automotive Service is usually a troublesome chore but I have taken my truck to this Jiffy Lube store twice now and on both occasions the entire staff was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. First time I got my oil changed in less than 30 minutes even though there were other customers there too. The second time I needed a quick battery change and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Do not go here. Jiffy lube workers are terrible. I went here 2 weeks ago for an oil change - 3 days later while I was driving on 95 alone, after midnight, I heard a strange noise under my hood. Then BAM. I pulled over on the side of a dangerous highway and discovered the entire floorboard of my car was falling out. (The oil change technicians never bolted it back in correctly) To avoid being struck and killed on the side of a highway, I pulled off on the next exit and found myself in a parking lot by myself, now surrounded by homeless people. I pushed it back in as good as I could but was afraid of my surroundings so I had to drive 30 miles down the interstate going 45 mph with my flashers on. The next day I went to this location and told them what happened. (To make matters worse this floorboard situation happened to me after going to a jiffy lube in Connecticut. I had sworn the company off but after moving so many states away thought I'd give them another try). After learning what happened the worker was pleasant and apologized but then made me get in line and wait. I had to wait for 45 minutes for them to fix their mistake. A mistake which not only wasted my time but also put me in a very dangerous situation! Then, they didn't even have the correct bolts to put back on my car so essentially fudged the job. The worker never offered me any sort of refund, credit, or even a damn coupon. This company clearly does not care about customer service. Do NOT waste your time or money going here. I hope what happened to me doesn't happen to another woman driving down a busy interstate alone after midnight but it probably will. read more
