I will give these guys three stars for the fact that they are all somewhat personable though I have tried to get a NYS inspection done here and even if I called 10 minutes before arriving and they said they can take me, there is a reason why they couldn't do it. The machine is down, the tech had to leave, or the last one is that there needs to be three witnesses to the inspection. If you bring your vehicle here you will definitely need a lot of Lube, because it's going to hurt! In fact, your car or truck will probably die from "Oil Cancer". This once iconic concept was at one point the go to platform for your quick efficient and reliable oil changes. However, over the course of time the quality of the product, service and customer satisfaction has dissipated. They use oil in 55 gallon drums which are recycled and not virgin oil. What's worse than the above is that they don't really care about your vehicle. After a 5 year hiatus, I was forced to return to Jiffy Lube because my mechanic was on vacation and I was leaving for a 12 hour drive to SC the next morning, so an oil change was mandated. What happened next was a threat to my vehicle's very existence, warranty and my safety. After completing my oil change and driving to and from SC, I noticed oil stains on my driveway. Now, my truck is relatively new and this was totally unexpected. I immediately went to my local mechanic who advised that Jiffy Lube put in the wrong oil filter! He said that it was literally falling off, rattling and leaking oil in alarming amounts. I guess Jiffy Lube thought a sale with the wrong oil filter was better than no sale at all. I really dodged a bullet here! My engine could have seized and my warranty would have been voided. Good luck getting anything back from Jiffy Lube in this instance. So, if you are driving a vehicle under warranty, don't want recycled oil or the wrong oil filter, avoid this place like the plague! If I could put zero stars, I would! It has been an awful experience. I will never let them service my car again. I always take my car elsewhere to get an oil change, but my boyfriend tried to do something nice and brought it to Jiffy Lube... Ever since I had my oil change, I was having problems with my brakes. After a few weeks, I took my car to get my brakes looked at. It turns out that whoever did my oil change, put power steering fluid into my brake fluid line. The mechanic showed me the difference between the fluids and explained how the wrong fluid was put in to the wrong spot. My car was so damaged that it did not have any rear brakes and I had to get it towed since it was too dangerous to drive. I had to get it serviced through Lexus for a new master cylinder because of this. After my car got towed and went to Lexus, they confirmed that my car was contaminated with the power steering fluid in the brake lines. It cost me almost $10,000. I am devastated. All Jiffy Lube could tell me was that the brake fluid was checked, but it was full so they didn't touch it. It was a complete lie because they cost me a ton of money and didn't want to pay for it. It's so awful how a big company like this can make a mistake and pretend it wasn't them. I traced back one of the purchases to a phone number who was the employers cousin and he ratted him out, saying he worked in Jiffy Lube and does this all the time. Took my car in for an oil change the other day. They kindly applied the coupon for me. Very nice. But then taking my car home and parking it in my driveway I noticed oil spots. Knowing it could be some over spray (that should of been cleaned before I drove away!!!) I gave it a day and a half. It didn't stop leaking. Took the car back, was told they tightened everything up but don't see any oil leaking. That its probably just the water I see from the AC. #1 why would u be able to or have to tighten it up if it was done correctly the first time? And #2 I'm not an idiot and can tell the difference between water and oil.. I understand that people make mistakes things happen. The staff at your bethpage location are incredible. Malik and his coworkers went above and beyond for me and my poorly taken care of car. Malik helped me understand the issues I've been having with my car, he answered all my questions and they all made sure my car was safe before I left. This is my go to spot for a quick oil change. All the men that work here are super polite and efficient. I actually get free oil changes at my car dealership but I'd rather come to this Jiffy Lube, they get me in and out fast and vacuum my car and clean my windows! My review is belated as my experience was at the end of last year (11/21/2019) but better late than never. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. THEY TURN AWAY BUSINESS FOR NO REASON! I came here to get a yearly NYS inspection performed. I was denied. Why? Bc my back windows/windshield are tinted. Clearly this business is not updated on the laws bc the laws changed at the beginning of 2017 that you can't have front window tints. There is still currently NO law about the back windows or back windshield being tinted. When I messaged them on Facebook, they replied calling me Shawna. So they don't know the laws & didn't know my name. What a great business! (sarcasm). BTW - I went back to Levittown good year up the block & they did my inspection, no issue. Not sure why I tried going somewhere else when good year has never given me an issue while jiffy lube clearly decided didn't want or need my business. read more

I came in for an oil change, they did not check tire pressures and the pressures they indicated are to low for my tires. I had to ask about window washer fluid and they said the system was not working, yet they showed as being done. I had to ask them to check my coolant level and had to reopen the hood so they could do this. They still charged the normal price without doing the work. I really cannot say anything positive about my visit here. I guess it's because I came with a Groupon which caused me to be treated like a second class citizens with leprosy. I pulled up and exchanged casual pleasantries with one of the workers who took my car into the bay. As I was speaking to another employee about the service I wanted, he rudely explained that they didn't except my Groupon from the app on my phone and I needed to physically print it out for them to accept it. I asked if I could print it to the store printer in their office to which he refused. I tried explaining that is not how it usually works but to avoid an argument I said I'd return in a few minutes. Coincidentally, a friend of mine works literally 1 block away, so I printed out a hard copy and returned. Upon arrival the same gentleman rolled his eyes when I returned because he didn't know how to redeem the hard copy either. He actually had the balls to tell me that they couldn't perform the service because of such. I asked to speak to a manager, who came over and allowed me to explain what happened. I don't remember his name, but he is the sole reason why I'm giving this review 1 star instead of minus stars. The manager straightened out the problem and in went me oil. I watched the service be performed as i often do because of all the horror stories I've heard about them not adding the correct amount of oil, etc. Unfortunately, they didn't check my tire pressure, add any windshield washer fluid, clean the windows or vacuum the interior (all which are supposed to be included with the service). When questioned, the same rude worker said that they were out of windshield washer fluid. He reluctantly checked my tires and vacuumed the interior. When checking out, there were other folks who asked about the windshield washer fluid and I overheard them say they they did in fact fill theirs up. I still left there without windshield washer fluid and very dissatisfied. I don't like writing negative reviews for any business, I understand people are just looking to make a living, as am I, but my experience here certainly warrants a shitty review! I cannot honestly say I'll never go to Jiffy Lube again, but I certainly am not going to be going to THIS Jiffy Lube. read more

5 Stars is for they did my tire rotation and oil change without me going to dealer . Only issue! I strictly asked' make sure fill tires i stressed this right from get - go . So i asked tech when about to pay . i had my hand on a $20 tip in wallet . He states no they didn't do tires . So they filled tires up after i had to ask and i kept my tip. Nice guys though . I love my local mechanic, but who wants to drop a car off just to change the oil? That's how I started going to Jiffy Lube, it was out of convenience. After years as a customer, I've since come to realize that jiffy lube is more than me not needing a ride. I'm always treated with so much respect I find myself looking for white gloves. Today, I learned how oil breaks down and why synthetic lasts longer, my car was vacuumed, and my windows were washed. A complaint I hear is that people feel the attendants always try up selling. First, let's remember we all need to make money. Second, I was shown two air filters from my car, only told I should change one, and it wasn't a hard sale. Jiffy Lube- Bethpage, NY This location has just lost a customer. I went there last night straight from work. I pull up and was greated by an employee. The employee told me (and a car behind me) that BOTH mechanics were on their break and come back in an hour. WHY ARE BOTH TAKING THEIR BREAKS AT THE SAME TIME, especially when people are just getting out of work? Well, anyway, I went back in an hour, I was the 3rd car. The first 2 cars were pulled in and their oil was changed. Ok, great. I am next. NO...... they pull a different car in that came in AFTER me. When I questioned why my car wasn't in. One of the guys- drinking a soda (that just came back from break)- says.... they are in for tires and I have to wait because there are only 2 people working. I don't care is she came in for "tires" or not! I was next- especially that I had to come back. Because of HIS attitude he had with me~~~ and the attitude he gave with the first car (told first car to call corporate because of the over charge), they lost me as a customer.
