Clark regularly charges literally hundreds less compared to other shops that have given me estimates. They are friendly and practical. They have never tried to upsell me. As a woman, I am so grateful to have a place to take my car where I don't have to worry about being financially taken advantage of because of sexist assumptions that women don't understand cars. In my Family's three cars over the years, they have diagnosed and repaired a myriad of problems and been very honest about what repairs are truly essential for safety and reliability and what repairs can be delayed. We have a 2016 Ford F150, an old 2005 Volkswagen Passat manual, and a 2009 Toyota Sienna. They keep us running great. They are often pretty backed up and so it takes a couple of weeks to get service but a couple of times when we had emergencies they took care of us right away. I try never to ask for rushed service but once or twice that I have needed it they have come through for me and him working extra hours to keep me on the road. It was my turn to speak with Mike and he remember me from my vehicle and the review. I told him i was back for the front brake and he toke it from there. The job was completed fast and I can't be more happy with the job. The shop is currently giving a discount to military and law enforcement, so don't hesitate to let them know. If I'm not mistaken that also might apply to all first responders, but you might have to check. It feels good to have confidence in the place where you take your vehicle for repairs. When I picked up my car, I mentioned this to the front desk employee (who was very nice), and Mike, who was sitting right there, turned around and chuckled again while denying he had ever laughed. It was incredibly rude, dismissive, and uncomfortable. With the economy the way it is, people shouldn't be belittled for asking about cost. During the the day of visit, the receptionist called me 1 hour after dropping it off and stated the lift couldn't lift it. After asking several questions as we took it in to be evaluated to see if they could do the job before hand. She then stated something was wrong with their lift and tried to charge me a whole lot more. I asked to speak to a manager and she said no. It is very disheartening that they wanted to charge me addition fees due to their malfunctioning lift.
