Very dissatisfied experience. After taking 45 mins to complete and watching the technician struggle to take off and put on a new filter I am done with this place. After paying I asked if they checked the air in my tires and the guy said I think they did. I left and ran errands and noticed my glove box lock was bent. I had it locked and they tried opening it and bent the hell out of it. It won't stay latched unless it's locked. They did not check the air in my tires, they all were low. They also left the cap off of my brake fluid container and a hose was unplugged in the engine compartment. This place is the worst. read more

Went in for a routine oil chance and had to come back two more times because my car started to leak oil (which has never happened UNTIL I got an oil change) The manager was very nice the third time we came and ensured everything was fixed. But nope! My car STILL continued to leak oil which has now led me to spend countless hours and dollars trying to fix their mistake. Go here all the time for oil changes and they're great, good people with great customer service. I needed both driver side brake light and driver side headlight and Adan did a great job and in a Hyundai Tuscon, the headlights are impossible to do for someone with limited knowledge. It was easy to do on all of my cars before this but there is such limited room to change it in this car. Adan did a great job was undeniably professional, did it quickly and I wish I could've tipped him with my credit card because I didn't have cash. Perhaps, Jiffy Lube should look into allowing tips on the credit card read more

Is it just me, or has anyone else experienced driving all the way there for a cash wash, and 75% of the time the car wash isn't working??

My car was at the North Aurora Jiffy Lube on Sullivan Rd on November 3rd for an oil change and for a brake flush. On November 4th, I returned to the store because I realized my rims were torn up by the impact that the technician was using to take my wheels off. They told me to come back tomorrow, because the manager was not there anymore. On November 5th, after waiting for 30 minutes at the front desk, they brought me back to the manager on the floor. The manager told me he himself provided the service to my car and that he did not rotate the tires. After arguing that my tires are now in a different spot, he confirmed that he did have to take them all off for the brake flush. I then asked him to come look at the rims and he refused. He then said he was done talking to me and walked away from me leaving me on the floor full of customers' vehicles being worked on. The manager acted like a 2 year old and couldn't admit he made a mistake. I am now left with four damaged rims. read more

I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube for many years. I get oil changes with synthetic high quality oil and all the other bells and whistles including changing cabin filter etc. I sold my car to a family friend who is very knowledgeable with cars and I told him I noticed in the last 2 months a small oil drip/leak when parking. He informed me that even though I was consistently getting oil changes they were NEVER changing the oil filter so the oil filter was rusted around the top and so old it must have not been changed for years... Took an hour and 10 minutes to change four tires at this location in Aurora. IL. When I asked why the delay, I got some lip from a guy who refused to identify himself (short, skinny black guy). When I asked who the manager was, he wouldn't tell me ( he was probably the manager). The store was not busy and there were technicians milling about. Not one of them helped the technician who was replacing the tires. I work for a company which has a corporate account nationally with Jiffy Lube and I promise this store will never see tires replaced on any company vehicle again. I'd give them zero stars if I could. And, after reading the reviews, it obvious the owner uses AI to answer them since some of the responses were completely inappropriate for the complaint so nothing will be done to fix the issue. read more

I paid for a cabin air filter replacement. I got home and saw they didn't replace the cover for the filter. When I went to affix it, I saw they didn't replace or install a filter at all. I went back as soon as I could (3 days later). They put in the filter and replaced the cover but said I waited too long so they could not refund the cost for the filter. The employee said he had to call corporate for approval to refund the cost of the filter. No one answered his call so he said he could give me a coupon for the next visit. No sorry. I drove up for walk up service for an oil change, a young guy told me it would be a 30mins wait and I could go sit in the waiting room and he'd take my truck, which he did. The place was packed! It was a Monday mid morning about 10/11am I was shocked that so many people were in here and other locations. Anywho, I was in and out about 30mins later. $50 later, lol. Car seems happy now so I guess it was a success. Lol I probably wouldn't come back due to the price I'd probably try Woodmans or Merlins, but it's nice to know they're here too. read more

When I first moved to the area around 5 years ago, I pretty much brought my Audi A3 exclusively to the dealership for any maintenance. But obviously that adds up *real* quick, so to save a bit of money, I started coming to this Jiffy Lube for a synthetic oil change here, a tire rotation there. However, over the span of those 5 years, I brought my car here more & more and to the dealership less & less. I've just always had generally positive interactions with the dudes who work here. They treat you professionally & respectfully. They've always given me fair prices. They're quick. They're straight-forward. I don't know, I don't know what else you can really expect or ask for when it comes to car maintenance. In addition to regular oil changes, I've brought my A3 here for tire alignments & rotations, they've checked my suspension & battery, they've swapped out tires for me. so I went to get a Uber inspection and the person in charge said to me right away that without going any further that it would not pass the inspection just by measuring my tires , so right away before I could say anything he offered $745 for a set of 4 , as soon as I said that I didn't want to spend that kind of money n that my tires were not that bad he dropped the price by $100 which was already a shady move. Just because I said I didn't want to drop that kind of money then he goes on to tell me that the measurements are right there with Uber expectations to drive but wasn't beneath so it was still able to pass, but I guess since I didn't give him the OK to buy the tires he didn't pass the inspection. Went in for a oil change. They checked and filled fluids. Thought everything was good? Driving to work car starts overheating. Oh ......., I will look at it after I get off of work. Reservoir cap is missing. Auto parts stores do not carry it in stock closest is 15 miles away. 2 gallons of antifreeze a brand new cap from the dealership. My wife and I missing a day of work to get it in to a shop to repair it. What kind of damage was there to the engine? I will never bring my vehicle back here ever again. I've been going to this location for oil changes the past 10 years. My last few visits were very disappointing. I do know it's under a new ownership the last year or so just beware of the changes. My car is maintained by a mechanic, but in between when an oil change is needed due to mileage I stop in. I was told I needed tires which they could do for $1100, cabin filter and air filter. The later two had just been changed. I said no thanks went ahead with oil change and tire rotation. Coincidentally now one of the tires is leaking from the rim. While sitting in the customer service area, several customers were told they needed anywhere from $300-$600 worth of work, anything from lightbulbs, headlights, brake replacements, calipers, batteries, gaskets, tires and plugs. I was unaware that they were a full mechanical garage. They need to stick to oil changes the up selling is ridiculous and comes off as very untrustworthy. Also a $7.99 charge for shop tools on every vehicle that comes through, just add it onto the price of the oil change for transparency. read more

This was for a oil change no appointment needed on a weekday evening and being our first time at this location. They really did a good job with overall quality and service. They even vacuumed the carpets and washed the windows as part of the signature oil change. We were in and out in about 20-35 minutes. The waiting room was nice and clean. My first time here based on the reviews and they didn't exactly wow me. I drove about 25 min to come to this location. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. When explaining the different types of oil changes they offer, they seemed knowledgeable. I would have loved to give them a 5 star rating but here is why I gave them 4 stars. It took them about 45 min as they had told me about an hour so that was good. Even though my car was done and brought to the front, no one really came and got me. I waited about 15 min and thought I'll go ask. I went up to the counter and was told someone will be with me shortly. I waited another 5 min and no one came so I asked again and one of the employees rang me out. As I drove off with my car, I realized they didn't reset my computer. This just didn't feel right. I thought to myself if they forgot to reset the computer, did they forget anything else? While I understand they were busy and this can be overlooked, it just didn't sit well with me. On Friday the 20th of August I took my 2014 Ford Escape in for oil change, tire rotation, 2 filters and fluids for a total of $196.99. Monday morning (August 23rd) at 3:30 am I was leaving my home to take my husband to work. Luckily for us he put his coffee cup on my hood, we drove out of the garage and driveway and took a left when the coffee cup rolled off the roof, when we stopped to pick it up, we saw massive amounts of oil coming from the bottom of my car. We backed the car back into the garage. When the location opened at 8 am, I called and spoke to a Fernando, who without apologizing said he would send a Nick to my home at 11:30 that morning (a mutually agreed upon time, since I had to leave work) Nick arrived and went on to say that it was the oil filter and since he did not bring all necessary items was at my home until 1:00 where he proceeded to change out the filter and put in 2 quarts of oil. I had a massive mess of oil in my garage, driveway, street, garage door. He wiped off the garage door (because it was dripping on him) and told me the rain would take care of the rest! It has been 72 hours since the complaint call, and still ... I have never heard I am sorry, what an inconvenience, what a mess you had to clean up, loss time from work, stress of the whole situation etc. I missed from 11:00 am to 1:30pm of my work day. It then took me almost 3 hours to clean up all the oil after I got home from work and... still nothing from your company at all read more

Do not go here! Took my car for an a/c check and they said no leak in closed loop system. Charged $189 for dye test and they said nothing wrong. System would not hold charge which it should have never needed if it wasn't leaking. Went to Tuffy's in Batavia and they found leak and repaired. My daughter just went there and got hosed for $89 for oil change. They also told her all her tires were dry rotted. Tires are only a few years old and less than 30K on them. Checked them myself. No dry rot. All good. These guys are criminals. read more

This place pulled a fast one on me today. Came in for an oil change. They went over what my car needed, I agreed to change the filters and oil. Then the guy starts telling me my front brakes are really bad. It's going to cost $499 to replace the front brakes. He also told me my rear brakes were starting to go bad but I could wait probably until the end of summer for those. I said ok to the front brake job, waited 2 hours for the service. When I went to pay he started telling me my front brakes were more worn than they initially thought and I'm going to need to get those done soon. i said isn't that what you were doing? You told me you were replacing my front brakes & the rear brakes could wait, he said no that's not what they did, it was the opposite. I said how did my rear brakes wear out faster than the front? He said it was because I have rear wheel drive. I said no, I don't, my 2019 ford Escape is front wheel drive so you're just making up stuff to get out of your lie. I told him I felt like I was being taken advantage of, they're preying on me because I'm a woman and they know I don't know a lot about cars. I told him how do I know you didn't change the rear brakes to get me to come back for the front right away? This was BS service and I feel lied to and cheated. From the owners to the cocky counter boy, they are all in on it! Went for rideshare inspection. They tell me ONE of the license plate lights are out and my rear windshield wiper needs to be replaced. Ok, so I ask for the form he filled out saying i failed. No paperwork, not even after i asked. I leave after hearing a ridiculous quote to replace said parts. I come back to complete inspection then realize they tampered with my license plate light. So I held off until the next day and requested the form where it said I failed. No paperwork. I never feel like they are trying to sell me something I don't need. I trust their recommendations. I knew I had a front running light out but forgot about it. When the tech pointed it out I told him to please fix it. Still he found me in the waiting area to tell me how much it would cost. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know when things are necessary and I hate feeling taken advantage of. They never make me feel that way.
