Nothing to see here. Jiffy Lube can't find an oil leak. Must be my rear main seal.
Justin R.

I exclusively get my vehicle serviced from Jiffy Lube due to the close proximity to my house. Fairly quick. Not the cheapest but understandable. My last visit has cost them a customer and hopefully anyone who reads this review will reconsider as well. I received a full front rear differential and engine oil change on or about 9/4. Recently, I noticed oil on my garage mats. I took it back to Jiffy Lube to see, if nothing else, where it was coming from: After 10 minutes inspecting my Jeep they said "we couldn't find anything. Maybe it's your rear main seal." I immediately leave and take it to the dealer. They put it up on the rack and notice the photos I've taken. A prolonged leak coming from my oil filter seal. Where could Jiffy Lube techs possibly been looking to miss this obvious amount of oil. I'm beyond done with Jiffy Lube and their inability to do the ONE thing they're expected to do. Understand fluids and change oil.

They're obviously closed

Is it asking too much that you post accurate business hours on your website? This was at 2:00 on Dec 24th. I called around to a couple of other JL's. All the phones just rang endlessly.

Matt D.

Came here for the first time. Saw mixed reviews on here but decided to stop by anyway. I called ahead to ask how busy they are. Guy was friendly on the phone and said there are 4 ahead with 2 bays open and each car takes 15-20 min. Got there 10 min later to find that information was accurate and there was 3 cars in the line. I joined the line and walked inside. As my car came in I approached the garage to watch and ensure they did an honest job. One of the techs then closed the garage door on me. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because it's 45 degrees outside, but it's a weird coincidence that they were doing work on the cars with the bays open and suddenly got cold when I was watching. Anyway as I watched the service, I noticed oil guzzling from 10 different places below the engine block. After that was done I saw two guys trying to figure out the oil filter. To their credit saturns put the oil filter accessible from the top of the engine and it's a pain to get out. Either the pan was still full of oil or they were just very sloppy with the removal of the filter because it poured all over the front frame. They installed a new mighty oil filter. The tech Kendall approached me to select my service. He mentioned that the prior service had received blended oil and suggested that again (this is my father in laws car so I wasn't aware of what oil was in it) I'm ok with this conversation up UNTIL THIS POINT! He then selects the blended oil package ($71.99) prior to my agreement. I asked him for the conventional oil change instead ($41.99) and if you're watching this jiffy lube management THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DONT TRUST YOU!!!! He states to me that the car "requires the synthetic blended oil" I asked him to show me where it says that. He fumbled through a few proprietary jiffy lube order screens before finally submitting that he "doesn't see that." PREDATORY TACTICS, UPSELLING, and LIES! I told him I wanted a conventional oil change, he then starts asking about my filters and wipers and all the other add ons.... which I get it, you make more money selling those things and techs are encouraged to sell more and get commissions or bonuses based on add ons. I actually heard them shouting in the garage "Add-on bay 2" so I'm sure it's logged because the boss was in there. So finally he finished his sales speech and I reply "Just the conventional" They finished the oil change and I left. I pulled over a few miles away to check. The oil filter is new and the oil was changed and was at the proper level. 2 STARS is all you're getting. The wait was good, the job got done; but you're more concerned with deceiving me on what my car "NEEDS" than actually doing a clean filter removal. Photos attached of the spill and the owners manual outlining what oil my car needs. I won't be back, but unfortunately this deception and up-selling along with a lackluster quality job is the norm in this industry and not the exception. This is why I usually change my own oil....Because the convenience of the quick change gets destroyed by this crap they pull. Oh and if the manager/owner of jiffy lube replies please spare me with that standard response of "oh we are sorry you had a bad experience please send us a private message" If you want to correct this, reply to the world what you'll do to correct this and be specific. And no I don't want a refund or a coupon.

They recommended work that was not required. Not going back! My mechanic also informed me that they use low quality fluids

These guys are so nice, very fast, very affordable, and it's enjoyable to wait for your car in the lobby where there's coffee, wi-fi, etc.

You pull up to a bay, wait and they'll direct you to slowly drive in when they are ready, then turn off your engine and park over an underground pit. You'll want to open all your windows. A worker gathers your details while you are in the car, asks to open your car drivers door and scan VIN code off the driver door jamb. Then ask what services you want, and if you want regular, blend, or full synthetic oil. Then they'll ask you to pop your hood, then what your current odometer mileage reading shows. They check your engine air filter and windshield wiper status every time, and they'll inform you of your engine air filter status. They pump out old oil via engine top dipstick tube, someone down below in service pit changes your oil filter, then they'll pump in fresh oil via engine top oil fill cap. They'll ask you to briefly start your engine to verify it runs and sounds normal. After, they'll pull your dipstick and show you that it's not can't-see-thru-black, but now thin see-thru brown and the level is above dipstick minimum oil mark. They ask for a credit card payment, and then ask you to start your engine and direct you to slowly exit. --- A tip to save time: write your name, detail, and current mileage in large print on a piece of paper you can show. My 2010 Lexus had undergone brake replacement/services, timing belt change, suspension replacement, and head gasket replacement (not all at once, over a two-year period). My 2010 Lexus feels practically brand new as if I just drove it out of a Lexus dealership. I have recently turned in my 2017 Lexus vehicle for tire alignment and tire replacement/balancing (my Pohanka Lexus mileage warranty services contract ended). I found 95 Auto Service through my auto warranty. (Of course, my warranty didn't cover these repairs). It's crazy that my former mechanic of 30 years had replaced the manifold catalytic converter twice - 07/2024 and 05/2025. Of course, the engine light came back on 05/2026. I keep a diagnostic device in my car when I get warnings on my car. Of course, my readings were always P0420. Ephrem with 95 Auto told me that he had the same P0420 reading and said that the car needed another catalytic converter. That makes this the THIRD manifold catalytic converter replacement. Please note that I did a Google search about this issue, and I found that Hyundai Tucson's have issues with their manifold catalytic converters. In any case, after FOUR manifold catalytic converter replacements (yes, I said 4), 95 Auto Service was able to find the root cause as to why I was burning through these converters. Unfortunately, the root cause does not provide a diagnostic code. So, the team at 95 Auto had to go through EVERY component to locate the problem. Happy to say that 95 Auto solved the problem . . . for now - HEYYYY, it's a Hyundai! lol Needless to say, I have reported this to Hyundai Corp. Now I have to get the roof panel repainted but at least Hyundai will cover this.

However, I believe that the Young Black man that kept smiling and smirking sarcastically never changed my oil when he showed me the dipstick after I asked, and he ignored me multiple times when I asked questions and then I had to ask the other guy, the oil looked dark before the oil change. And then afterwards, I asked again if I could see the dipstick after they were done, and it looked the same color it just looked more was added. Like they topped it off, but they didn't change my oil. Also, I didn't see him actually put the hose there and add oil. the whole time he seemed to stand in front of my vehicle and just smirk sarcastically. They never checked the air in my tires or my lights or brakes, which other locations do. I was never shown the filter that they apparently replaced. But they tried to get me to change another more expensive filter for $34. I have a feeling 99% that he never changed my oil due to his odd behavior, the dark oil afterwards and his sarcastic grinning the entire time. When I left, my vehicle was running worse than it was before. my vehicle was fine before I got there so I think he added something bad to my oil and He didn't change my oil at all. I'm going to check the dipstick once the heat cools off and if it's dark like it was before, I'm calling headquarters. You can take customer's money and not do the service they came there for and then just smirk sarcastically the entire time. This is highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. If this is true, he needs to be fired!
