So I…read morehired a small company whose job is to apply clear material that includes something that decreases the amount of glare without darkening the windows from the inside. It looks like the big brother of plastic wrap, but is sturdier and comes in different degrees of tint--customer's choice. We chose NEW YORK CITY WINDOW TINTING, which we found on Yelp, where they've earned many excellent reviews. (I'm finally adding mine!) Jerry Ciccio is the principle. He did an excellent job on all my windows. The cost was reasonable, he and his helper arrived as planned, and finished and cleaned up very well. If you wish, you may use my name as a positive reference. Pricing goes by the size of the window(s). You'll have to do some measuring in advance, send the dimensions to him, and then Jerry can give you an estimate. He'ss answer any of your questions and concerns, and is a very congenial guy. Now that the sun is aimed directly at us, the difference is great!

I gave a 5-star review few years back when they detailed and tined my E92 M3 but today had a Mini Cooper F56 ceramic tinted; let's just say I couldn't be ecstatic with the result. Mike(owner) and Jimmy(GM) both explained to me the detail differences between type of tints and also took the time to compare each tint % on my Mini until I was completely satisfied with how would look before final installation. I walked in when first opened to ask about their tint summer special and they were able to get me in right away since I'm not local and they both understood the hassle for me back and forth. 1.5hrs later, my car is complete night and day with 35% driver and passenger while the remaining rear received 20%. THE JOB WAS PERFORMED TO PERFECTION. This is a pro shop that has been established in New Hyde Park for 15 years and I can wholeheartedly recommend this to all. Have you ever gone out to dinner and the restaurant is packed and then you look across the street and the other restaurant is empty. Which restaurant are you going to go to? I'm gonna go to the busy restaurant and wait for a table. Tinting motors and paint protection is that busy restaurant. Their work and commitment to perfection is beyond the normal you would receive. They go above and beyond every step of the way. Couldn't have been happier, with the way my truck came out. It looks newer than new. Thank you Rami. 5 star review for you and your company.

I will say one thing about "detailing" shops. Everyone who is even remotely into cars always seems…read moreto "have a guy" that does it. Whether it's the basics like a wash and wax, or a little trickier like window tinting, to the most complicated like wrapping and paint correction, everyone says they have the person to do it. I consider myself to be an extremely far crazy individual. I've participated in numerous concourse as well as car shows. If I have even the slightest chip or blemish in my paint, I literally lose sleep. And along those lines, I trust nobody with any of my cars.... Except the crew at Detailing Dynamics. From the moment you enter their facility, the white tiles and bright lighting give off an almost hospital-like appearance. And no matter what day of you stop in, the caliber of vehicles in their shop is second to none. But the beauty of this place is that they treat every single customer's car as if it were a multi-million dollar machine. They don't play favorites. If it's your ride, it's important to you. And they know it. And they treat it and you that way. I will say that for me, I hate leaving my cars anywhere. For any reason. But with Detailing Dynamics, I don't give it a second thought. It's one place where you can drop off your car for whatever you are getting done, and don't have to worry. Because you'll be getting your car back in better condition than when you dropped it off. The owners are beyond meticulous with their work and have trained their staff to be the same. So before you go to your neighborhood guy to have anything done to your car, do yourself a favor and stop by and ask for either Matt or Eddie. And tell them I sent you. You won't regret it.
