Fredericksburg jeweler popped up. So I made a call and asked if they did battery replacement on G SHOCK watches. He said yes! So, I went downtown and went to look for parking. It was hard to find parking downtown, it's busy and I suggest park down near the river. Near the river has more parking availability. So I went into the shop, it small but the owner seem nice and accommodating. He gave me 50 percent off on the battery replacement so I got a great deal! I highly suggest coming here!!!

If you have any item, whether it is a piece of jewelry or timepiece that you care for, DO NOT take it to this establishment. I would not even take costume jewelry to this guy. HE SIMPLY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING. I purchased an expensive watch that only needed to be sized. After taking the band of my watch apart and after working on it for 20 minutes, he became flustered, handed it back to me in pieces and asked me to work on it myself. After, I insisted that he return the watch to me in the condition he received it, his response was "I will have to charge you for that?". WHAT!!! Are you serious?, I asked. I'm gonna make a long story short. The police department was called by me and when the officer showed up the officer quickly determined that this jewelry repair man was under the influence of alcohol. The repairman admitted to the officer that he had a couple of glasses of wine. The officer stated, "you had more than a couple of glasses of wine, I've been doing this for over 30 years". My expensive luxury watch is now in pieces and will be taken to a reputable jeweler. Do not patronize this hack shop. This guy is a jewelry repair quack.

I came back to pick them up only to find that he has switched my 18k gold clasp with a cheaper and claimed that was an original. I argued with him because I have the original in the picture I took before I handed to him and he still said it was the original, he had just switched and did not replace with the lighter clasp. I am not sure what to do here - only need to leave a bad review.

The watch has a particular shape but changing the band it's not as different as any other regular watch. I explained this in different jewelry stores that they just needed to pull the pins but nobody was willing to do that, not even trying. Rebecca from "Diamond Concepts" was truly willing to help. I do appreciate very much her empathy, she took the time to listen to me, I shared with her the sentimental value of this watch and her actitud was like... don't say more, she grabbed the tool box and did what she does best... care for her customers. She did not disappoint me, diligently, carefully, she fixed the watch! I just wanted Rebecca to know that I'm thankful with her and happy to find a place where I feel that I can trust them!

They said they it would have to send it out and it would take a couple of weeks. I told them that it was no problem. Well, 3 months later I got the call my earring was repaired. I went to pick it up. It was $150.00! I was never given a estimate. Silly me just assumed that since they fixed the other earring for $25. This one would be similar priced. I was never told that it would be 6 times more to fix! I feel that I have been taken advantage of. I will not ever go there again. The ladies at the front counter were very nice, but not $150.00 nice. Buyer beware!

Located in historic Fredericksburg, this shop offers a great mix of quality pieces and a welcoming experience. Justin is personable, professional, and very knowledgeable nothing like the typical pushy salesperson. He takes the time to listen and makes thoughtful recommendations based on what you're actually looking for. The service is top-notch. While they are no longer an authorized Rolex dealer, they do carry Longines watches, along with a beautiful selection of estate jewelry. They regularly host estate jewelry events, which are definitely worth attending if you're looking for one-of-a-kind pieces rather than mass-produced items. I also love that they support local talent, they carry a great selection of jewelry from local designers. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind, and their gift-wrapping is excellent. Make a day of visiting Crown Jewelers and exploring other local businesses in historic Fredericksburg. Highly recommend!

Thankfully, we found it and brought it back to the same jeweler for repair. Three days after picking it up, the head of the ring detached and the diamond was lost forever. When I returned, I was told, "The head was weak and that happens." No apology. No accountability. I was later told they "can't predict the future." Despite the rings being originally made there and the repair failing within days, I was charged again to fix it using one of the last remaining stones from my mother's jewelry. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. The lack of care, craftsmanship, and basic empathy during an incredibly emotional situation was shocking. I will never return and strongly recommend taking your business to the jeweler across the street.
