Quick, friendly, and easy to get an appraisal and sell! No pressure to sell though. Would go again.

I was so pleased with their work the first time around, I decided to go back for a custom wedding band. My engagement ring has an unusual shape and Lily came up with a fabulous idea for a wedding band jacket during an initial consult. They gave me a quote and a computer model and kept tweaking it until it was exactly what I wanted. The ring was complete on-time and is stunning. They've made a piece that looks like it belongs with the engagement ring. I also have to specifically call out Taylor. The most amazing part of my wedding band is the incredible hand engraving running around the top of the bands. Taylor does INCREDIBLE, unique hand engraving. It's art. I cannot believe my luck that I get to wear his gorgeous work on my hand for the rest of my life. Working with the team at Booth has been a complete delight and I would absolutely come back for future jewelry purchases. Shopping here supports incredibly talented, local artisans and their skill is undeniable.

From the outside, the shop looks humble and is easily passed by on the highway. But please don't let that stop you from giving this shop a chance! From the first visit, time flew by with Jim Lee walking us through designing a ring. He's been in the business for many years and his experience shows it. I also liked the personal feel of the family-owned business, and it's reassuring that he has assistants helping to manage the business. He knows his lab grown and natural diamonds, and I definitely felt comfortable with him walking through all the different bands, settings, diamonds, etc. He was budget and design-conscious, and clearly wants to make sure that whatever he put together would be satisfactory, both visually and budget-wise. We did end up going with a different jeweler because they selected our favorite stone (which I think is probably the most important part of the ring), but would have easily put Mr. Lee's shop in the top 2 of the 10+ shops we looked at. I would easily recommend this over any of the big chain stores and pawn shops in the Raleigh-Durham area.

I was very pleased with the end result. Later on, Icarried in an old pair of earrings to trade , they told me my earrings were worth more than the item I wanted to purchase but they were not interested in buying them. Had they been less honest I would have never known the difference and left with the less valuable piece.
