5.99? No way. Used to be 4.29. Cmon guys!

Pricing and digital coupons. Customers. Do you understand? CUSTOMERS! We are what pays your salaries, keeps your doors open, give your employees a place to go every day to work to support their families. CUSTOMERS. Need to be respected and supported by the people who run Jewel. Digital coupons, STOP IT! What happened to the tag I kept on my keychain for discounts at checkout? Did you take it away because it was convenient and used by your loyal customers? Prices. Digital coupons and by 4 of these for a lower price. Who buys four of anything at one time to get a discount on something you should get anyway. Remember JEWEL! Customers are your business. They're not stupid just want no hassle shopping, life is hard enough without having to go get groceries and have a bunch of hoops to go through. Baggers. Your baggers need training or put on cart retrieval in the parking lot. You do not put bread with soda, or chicken with other meats in same bags. Take pride in bagging the groceries. Its not that hard.

5/2022 5* Quick trip in for something. Typical Jewel look and layout. Right through the self checkout. All went good. 2021 5* Like other Jewel Osco's. Clean and had what we needed.

Always check your packaged produce thoroughly for mold (strawberries, cherry tomatoes etc) before purchasing.

It seems that Jewel-Osco is price gauging during this Coronavirus. Beer has gone up $4.00 per 12 pack in the last week!

Nothing really worth noting about this Walmart. It's what you usually expect at a Walmart. They got…read moreeverything you need, at usually a cheaper price compared to other places. Much like the other Walmarts that I've frequented, food/grocery section is hit-or-miss, but for the most part, you can find what you're looking for in the frozen aisle. The produce section is limited, you'll probably have better luck at a fresh produce store or your local Jewel or Mariano's. But if you're looking for other stuff like motor oil, toys, bath towels, clothes (shoe selection is meh) you can come to this one-stop-shop for all of it. I think the biggest complaint I see and hear about Walmart is the people of Walmart (actual website exists!) but it just depends on what your personal preference is at and what you can tolerate. I don't mind the people, if it means getting all my stuff cheaper and all in one spot. No, this place isn't as fancy as a Mariano's... I have yet to find someone playing ambiance music on a baby grand piano, but it works for me.

This Walmart is in a good area that's close to me and they have a great selection of affordable…read moreproducts. They close at a reasonable time, and the establishment seems to be clean whenever I go. However, the staff is so horribly miserable that my grocery-shopping experience is immediately ruined when I interact with them. Not all cashiers and greeters are rude, but my last few experiences have not been pleasant as I have been yelled at (for not being in the "right line?") and given stern looks on my way out.

I'm not very UP on the Indian cuisine or cooking, so, a lot of the snacks and other items are new to me. The supermarket is ALWAYS very clean and well stocked. They have small carts to use if you are getting more than just a few things. I usually go in for the frozen naan, which is very good considering it's frozen. They have an array of ready made indian sauces from Korma to Vindaloo to Biryani, so you can make your own chicken biryani or chicken vindaloo at home. And if you are not very cooking-inclined they have microwave curries, which turned out remarkably good considering. They also have an array of other foodstuffs that boggle the mind. Lots of Indian snacks (chat) and sweeets as well. While I am curious to try them all eventually, I stick to what I know. The tapioca chips struck me as a more exotic type of snack and then there are the plantain chips, which are popular even in my filipino ethnicity. The owner was very nice and helpful to offer an array of different foods to me as I perused the stores. One thing this supermarket does is on Fridays at 6pm, they get in a supply of hot food, chicken biryani, chicken kabob, goat biryani, goat kabob, and of course samosas. They have samosas everyday, so, stop by regularly and get a few, they are only 80 cents a piece! YUM! Definitely going to frequent this establishment again and again. Also, they have a small video section for those who are curious to watch some Indian bollywood movies. Something for everyone! :)

Although, sometimes if you don't buy them right away, you may regret it as you won't see them for another year. Choceur chocolates, and the cheesecake are incredible must have treats. The staff is always willing to accommodate and the checkout is super fast. And for some odd reason, even the customers seem friendlier. Honestly, I'd give it 4. But it's only because it does not have a deli and perhaps more seasonings and spices that I would not read it a 5.

It is a free standing building, located within the strip mall in downtown Bartlett. Because the building was newly built, they modeled it as the new generation of Aldi stores and it set-up exactly the same way as the store that recently opened near our home in Long Beach, CA. It's a very modern store, with a ton of self checkout lines. They still have the quarter-enabled shopping carts (you need a quarter to unlock a shopping cart, and you get it back when you return it), but now they accept credit cards. The prices are still really good, and it had probably the best selection of meat and produce I've seen at an Aldi. It had a good selection of gourmet cheeses, and even picked up a couple bottles of their house brand of wine (Winking Owl).
