Last week I took my 2014 Nissan Xterra in because of AC was making terrible rumble that shook my dashboard. I only live a mile away and by the time I got home and ate by breakfast I got a text msg with link to pictures of what they were doing. I was shocked when one of the picture showed a rodent (dead and rather beat up) in the a/c fan along with some weird trash. Other pictures where of them checking the brake fluid, air filter (dirty), and the in-cabin filter (which i had replaced a few months back myself) was terribly messed up by the rodent. After I approved the work they sent msg stating my vehicle was ready two hrs later. I was impressed and now I don't hear a thing when I turn on A/C ( had to check that it was actually blowing cool air) Also had their coupon to knock a bit of the sting of what this rodent cost me. This beat taking it to dealer way out on Airline Hwy, wait for hours or have a some to pick me up and bring home and later do the opposite. They have a nice, cozy waiting area with refreshments/coffee if you want to wait. Sometimes I think they take in more than they can handle but I will continue using them.

The machine in each bay accepts cards and dollars but not quarters. Of course it's really unnoticeable. Majority of us(especially out of towners) will make change first without realizing the bay accepts dollars. Now remember the price is $3 but the minimum card charge is $5. Now you have $3 worth of change and are forced to pay $5 via card. Don't bother going elsewhere because the only other carwash is inoperable.

I called at 1:30 asking for the status of my repair, he said he was out at lunch and would come back to my car as soon a he got back in. At 2:15pm, he called saying he was done with it. I paid for two hours worth of labor and I'm not sure how much time he actually spent on my car. But the real problem is that 24 hours later, my car was on the side of the road again and when I got a second person to look at my car they informed me that my bolt to my tensioner had a stripped bolt. When I called and asked this mechanic was if he as aware of it; he was very dismissive and changed his story after I revealed to him that my car had broken down for the same issue. He is blaming it on my alternator being bad even though the alternator was tested as soon as he completed the work and again the off the car the next day. I feel like he is the type to Nickle ahd dime a hard working person to get as much money as possible. Now I have to get his negligence repaired. Beware. Update: He shattered my tensioner. It had to be replaced and it costs me 325. Thanks.

So I asked the man if he had any recommendations as to where to take my car and he said Joe's. I asked my grandpa and he said Joe's so Joe's it was. I drove over without calling and walked in, the man at the front was really nice, and let me know that it would be $100 to read the code I agreed and he grabbed his computer and went to my car immediately to see what was up. After running it several times, he said no codes for my transmission were coming up, but that he was willing to drive it to see what I was talking about. Well my car immediately stopped acting up. What do you know? They must have magic fingers at Joe's. I will definitely be bringing my car back here if I need transmission work.
