The clerk has broken English and told us to pull up to pump #3. But 3 had a bag on it. Whoever put up the stickers on the door is practicing hypocrity and contradictory. A large blue sticker says accepts EBT, followed with a handwritten EBT is down. Has several stickers promoting cigarettes, cigars, dip, but a gigantic R. J. Reynolds tobacco message that says, "It's not easy to quit". How can one quit with all that going on? Shaking my head. Mhmm. There are plenty of pumps and I've never found myself waiting for one, even when there is a storm in the gulf. But RaceTrac is more than just gas. If you need snacks for the road stopping here just makes sense. They have hot and cold sandwiches, boiled eggs, string cheese, hot sausage links with buns and all the condiments you want, chili, nachos...you get it. You see it, you like it, you want it, they got it. The drink options here are endless as well. In addition to great fountain drinks with the best ice choices they carry just about every drink you might want. I found Diet Barqs here in a 16 oz bottle and I never see that anywhere. Are you a Froyo lover? Then you're in for a treat with Swirl World. Not only is it delicious, they have all the toppings you'll see in a place that only does Froyo. There's always a small line at this gas stations deli, so you know they got the goods. These dude's sell fresh seafood, you can it cooked, or fresh. I always go by here on my way home from Louisiana. When I'm talking about a road trip snack, I'm not talking about slim Jim's, day old burger, or chips. I'm talking crab legs, shrimp, crawfish pies, fresh fried juicy catfish! Boiled shrimp was cooked perfectly, wasn't overcooked swimming in that seasoning. They were frying shrimp and catfish when I walked in. $10 for a box of 5 catfish filets, and 10 jumbo shrimp, it was nice and crispy, needed a tad more seasoning, but great price! Catfish was big, and it was flaky juicy goodness. Giant Turkey wing for $2.49 so why not? Add that to my cart I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it wasn't bad. This is my snack before dinner 1 crawfish meat pie 1/2lb boiled shrimp 5 fried catfish filet 10 jumbo fried fish 1 giant turkey wing's a little under $20 after tax.
