I had a horrible experience at a Jets In Wheeling Illinois the other day. I'm a vegetarian and asked for a slice of cheese pizza. When I received the slice it had pepperoni on it. When I walked back in and mentioned the issue to a staff member he was quick to pass it off to another without saying a word. I spoke to a Larissa who claimed to be a manager. She was rude, unapologetic, and turned and walked away in mid conversation. During my brief conversation Larissa she mentioned the reason for the mix up was because they make multiple pizza types on one pizza for slices because weekends are slow. As a restuarant manager for 10 years, I've never know the weekends to be slow and I find that hard to believe. I then stated that as a vegetarian it would have been good to know about the meat on half of the pizza because it would have changed my order. Not to mention the red flags this practice raises for possible cross contamination and allergy concerns. Even though I had bitten into and swallowed a bite pepperoni pizza as a vegetarian the worst part was how I was treated. Jets is great if you haven't eaten in 72 hours, are locked away in a storage locker with no ride, no service on your cell and you happen to find a land line that will only dial this place. Their ideas are appealing, but they really do need to work on their execution and price points. read more

This review has nothing to do with the food. We ordered at 5:20 this evening. It's 7:03 right now. No pizza. We got a confirmation email after we ordered it that it would be here at 6:10. We have called 5 times. This "manager" has even saying the driver has been out delivering our food for the past 45 minutes apparently. The manager is the laziest and most unhelpful human ever. Why are we calling your business multiple times? You should be calling us. Furthermore, she was completely unapologetic about the whole ordeal. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. read more

A friend,who travels a lot to Detroit, told me about Jet's. Living in Chicago, I wasn't expecting much, but it was quite a surprise. The pizza is very similar to Pizza Hut, but I found their '8 Corner' Pizza really good, but very greasy. The crust on it was tasty and crunchy. Overall, I would order from Jet's again. The best pizza I ever had, across the country! I love how buttery and crunchy the bottom is and how thick the crust is. You can also flavorize the crust for free! My favorite is cajun. To the reviewers here who complained about how the toppings were frozen, I know for a fact that they make dough out of scratch every day and that they get boxes of produce, where the employee would choose which veggies are good to use for the pizzas. This review is not about the food ,I love their food but for neglect by employee's I ordered online and picked it up after 45 mins the employee seemed surprised that I'm picking up an online order (red flag) so I get home and my kid started eating the pizza and I noticed it was only a cheese pizza when I ordered a jets 10 pizza ( see pictures posted) I called and asked why they told me that they will give me an in house credit for my next pizza but I didn't want that so I asked if they can just deliver it I live close by , she stated that it will take an 1hr or 1 1/2 hrs to deliver it ( really ) and let me make it clear I didn't want anything for free I just want what I paid for that's all I ask nothing more . I work very close to Jet's Pizza and I do order their lunch specials often because the price is reasonable. But I won't be ordering from them anymore after what I witnessed today. I saw a female employee in a red shirt with an apron in the back of the building smoking and kneading dough with her bare hands!!! While the pizza itself is as good as any Jet's, but I'm pretty sure my order was mistaken, I was given a medium sized when I ordered large. Always double check your pizza before you leave the shop!!! I don't think I will be returning to this Jet's. read more

Honestly i don't see how people can lie to themselves, i will make this short and sweet. This is bad quality pizza,the portions for about $ 4 dollars is way to small i mean i can go to pizano's down the street for the same price and enjoy a way better homemade pizza( a whole pizza). This pizza is total garbage, run down cheese, burnt toppings, just would rather not have people come to jet's pizza. We ordered original jets bread, a small pizza, and cinnamon sticks. Everything came promptly. The order, however, wasn't right. While it tastes delicious and we still enjoyed our food, they added onions and chicken to our pizza. The cinnamon sticks were a little chewy, I'd skip these next time. read more

Jets pizza is a chain and in general is pretty darn good for Sicilian - style pizza (not true Chicago deep dish). I ordered delivery from this location 3 times and it has been burnt each time. Last time I ordered "turbo crust" and it appeared they forgot until after it was cooked as there was an abundance of garlic/Romano globs sitting on top of the the za. Yuck. This time I called about the burnt pie and the manager told me he had no control over the ovens and didn't even apologize... Wow. If you like Jets pizza in general order from a different location. Previously, I've had good experiences with this location. Unfortunately today will have to be the last. First, Jet's Pizza is overpriced. 4 pieces of pizza for $13.95 without tax. You can probably get 3 whole pizzas from a local competitor (with better service and quality) for that price. We had to ask the girl upfront if she got our order right (who seemed unsure if we were speaking the same language). Second, we ordered via Web and they still got our order wrong. How clearer can an order be than from the web? Can you imagine ordering over the phone? Third, terrible customer service. You can wait at the front counter for about 5 minutes until someone acknowledges your existance. Sounds about they care about their business with the lack of attention at the front counter. I will definitely take my money and business elsewhere. It's a shame that someplace that I had once recommended to people is now a place I will let people know to avoid. read more

We love Jet's pan pizza, and especially the "8 corner" pizza (which is actually two square pizzas served side-by-side, so you do get 8 true corner slices). The crust is beautifully raised and baked so that it's very crispy on the outside and softer on the inside. It's a lot of food so not surprisingly costs more than a crummy Papa John's or other bargain pizza. 15 years ordering pizza here and we've never had a bad one; the prep and bake is very consistent (although we don't order a lot of different types, to be frank). We always order by phone and pick-up and it's generally quick and efficient. I try to arrive before the stated pick-up time so the pizza will be really hot (and not waiting in the hot-box). The staff will give you a menu with coupons on the back for future orders. read more

I love the salads at this place and my wife loves their gluten free pizza and it's moderately priced but the real winners at this place are the employees. This place sees a lot of traffic and mistakes are made here but every time I've had a problem those guys get it fixed and fast. Best pizza out there. I LOVE the square deep dish, especially the corner pieces. Not too cheesy, but plenty, and a good amount of sauce. Haven't had the round pizza as much just because I like the square, but it's good too. Get the Turbo crust -it makes eating the crust so much more enjoyable. And you have to get the Jet Bread. Best thing on the planet. They have a homemade ranch you can get with it that is outstanding too. You can get bacon or pepperoni on the jet bread and it's good, but I think I like the original the best. Though sometimes I admit we get one cheese and one bacon. So good. it's all a good value too. I had an 8-corner Hawaiian pizza with mushrooms added. I ended up having to pick the mushrooms off because they tasted weird. I'm pretty sure they were canned mushrooms, not fresh. Gross! For a $30 pizza, I would assume they could afford fresh ingredients. I love mushrooms and can never get enough of them, so having to pick them off of my pizza is the deciding factor: I will it be returning to jets for my pizza needs. Had a large gathering for Super Bowl and placed an order with Jet's for pizza and wings. Everything was delivered hot and perfectly cooked. We love the crispy crust on the deep dish pizza -- so unique in this area. The pepperoni is great but our favorite by far is the BBQ Chicken pizza - the kids ask for it every chance they get! This place is all right. The pizza is very reminiscent of Little Cesars, especially the Detroit style deep dish. It isn't bad, and may be a bit better than usual Little Cesars, but it costs quite a bit more. Pizza was greasy, the jets bread was pretty good. Salad had wilted and very brown lettuce. The pizza was easy to order online tonight, but the delivery guy got lost. I tried to help him out even, walking down the block to find him and guide him toward our section of the complex. This place has horrible food and they rush you off the phone when your ordering, my wife and I split a cheese free pizza with mushrooms, green peppers, and onions, the mushrooms tasted like canned mushrooms, the green peppers and onions that were diced look like they came in a frozen bag from the grocery store, they don't cut up and use fresh toppings on their pizza, and their toppings were ice cold on the pizza, I don't know about you but I don't want raw onions on my pizza, I e-mailed corporate with my opinions and they never called me back to apologize or anything, much better pizza places this joke of a restaurant makes mcdonald's look like a steakhouse read more
