Between me and my husband's creative discussions over which style is better, Chicago or NY, we decided on neutral ground: Detroit-style pizza. A few minutes from where we stay, we ordered ahead of time and twenty minutes later, we rolled up to their store. Among a few other stores, it was nice to see they that their own parking lot. When you walk in, don't expect to see a lot of tables; it's more of a pick up your food and go type of place. We ended up getting two pies: one Detroit-Style Deep Dish pepperoni and the Jet 10. The Jet 10 had pepperoni, ham, hamburger, Italian sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers & black olives. It was beautiful. Pizza preferences can be very personal but I liked how in every bit you got a little bit of everything. The crust was similar to a Pizza Hut crust; it was thing, soft on the inside with a beautiful crust on the outside. If we had to order one thing again, it would definitely be the Jet 10. I didn't care much for the Detroit-Style Deep Dish; it wasn't anything fascinating. Other than the shape, there was nothing special about it. I wish there was more sauce to off-set the dryness of the crust. I won't be ordering this one again. Don't forget to flavor your crust for free. There was a slight snafu with my pizza .. but that doesn't negatively impact my impression. This is strictly based on years of the same order of a small deep dish. They have yet to fail me. Hands down it is the best pizza chain in the neighborhood. Yes, better than Lou's. Better than giordanos even. Don't get me wrong, it's not a Chicago deep dish by any means. But based on what these other guys are serving up in town, Jet's is the best option for pizza if you don't want to drive 46 minutes for something better It's happy food. Great pizza but the incompetence of their Schaumburg Illinois store is unbelievable. Ordered once and they messed up my phone number, they said they called multiple times but I never received a call and they never rang my buzzer. Tried ordering again and same problem, except they said they tried multiple times and once again never rang my buzzer and never received one call. Called them to find out what the delay was and they lied. While waiting to see how to correct it I got sick of waiting and hung up and surprise they called back and I received the call. I moved right near Jet's Pizza 3 years ago, but it was only in the last year that I ordered from them. To me, they can do no wrong like another reviewer said. The pizza is to my liking: thick crust (I prefer the turbo crust), lots of cheese, easy on the sauce, and fast delivery. I strongly dislike thin or square-cut pizzas; so if you're into that, maybe this place isn't for you. I'm the odd man out; I can't stand Lou Malnati's; in fact, I am not a fan of most Chicago pizza (BLASPHEMY!). I recommend the turbo "stix", jet's boat, and the medium pizzas. The 8 corner pizzas are great as well, but I prefer crust. If I had to move out of the area or state, I think I will suffer Jet's Pizza withdrawl...no lie. read more

They are always REALLY fast, the food is fresh and delicious, and they go out of their way to find you the best deal. The square cut pizza is deep dish style, although it is not a traditional deep dish pizza. The top of the edges of the pizza have a nice crunchy texture from what looks like caramelization. The cheese is nice and gooey, and they have a wide selection of specialty pizzas. We've tried the Hawaiian and the Chicken Parmesan and have not been disappointed. The only thing keeping Jet's from receiving a full five star rating is the price of the pizza. For a one topping square cut, it's already $10.99, and the pizza is not that big (10 slices). If you want to up it to a specialty pizza, you're looking at $13.99 or $14.99, depending on what kind you get. Overall, Jet's comes highly recommended. My family and I first tried Jet's pizza when we were in Detroit. As Chicago natives, we were very skeptical about trying pizza in Michigan, of all places. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! We had gotten the deep-dish (a rectangular shape), and as crust-lovers, fell in love with this pizza. We were SO excited when we found out they had opened restaurants in our area, we thought we'd never have Jet's again after that short stint in Detroit. We have been long-time fans of Lou Malnati's, and still are, but we now like to rotate between Lou's and Jet's. If you go here, I HIGHLY recommend ordering the deep dish. The crust is almost like a garlic-bread consistency, it's buttery, crispy and flaky. The edges also get crispy with the cheese. Yum! Their pizza is ready SUPER fast (usually only 15 minutes until it's ready to be picked up), and we love that it is a cheaper, but still delicious, option compared to Lou's. My family's favorite is the BBQ Chicken pizza, but we also add pineapple to it. read more

I love this pizza. Yes it's a chain pizza place and we live in Chicago (the pizza capital of the Midwest) but this is really good stuff My orders are ready when promised or even before. I've inly had one problem in the past with an order, followed by very poor service from the staff. I spoke to the owner and he was very apologetic and promised to make changes. I'm guessing that meant staff training because I've never ever had poor service since We normally get the pan pizza and an order of Jets bread. Love the Jets bread. I've also had the Turbo bread which is tasty but I prefer Jets bread I'm indifferent on the various crusts that are offered. I've had the turbo crust on my pizza and didn't really think it enhanced the flavor that much. Maybe it is better on the round pizzas. After reading reviews from this place my husband and I expected to be blown away by their pizza--I mean pictures alone have made our mouths water... however the food was less than to be desired. TOOO much doughy crust and I couldn't taste the "garlic" flavored crust that we asked for. And do people really enjoy Pizza Hut pizza?! That stuff makes my stomach churn and Jet's pizza reminds me of it so I, undoubtedly, was not a fan of the similarity. We did get a great deal on the pizza though, $7.99 for a Large with one topping. I am a doctor and I found out about Jet's Pizza through a patient. We found out they are Detroit style pizza, and with most of my family coming from Detroit we were so excited to find out about them! The grilled chicken that they put in was heated in microwave, you could tell coz the chicken was hard and chewy. The Italian had kind of stale meat, and didn't taste good at all. I would give 5 stars but the prices prevent that. With that being said we eat pizza all the time and this pizza is by far the best for our tastes. We order the Jets10 and it is loaded. The crust is always thick and crusty and the sauces il are just right not too much. Wish they had more coupons to defray some of the overall costs as we are budget conscious. The employees at this location are very nice and always smile. Have always gotten our pizza to go as we live just outside their delivery area and it is airless ready when promised even on a Friday night. So if price doesn't bother you this is the best pizza in town. Simply put, I was hungry and a friend suggested I stop by Jet's since they sold pizza by the slice and I was in the area. Man, was I glad I did! In my book this was one of the most perfect pieces of pizza ever. The slice came from one of their rectangular pies. It was thick, but not too thick. The cheese was slightly burnt, but not a lot. Color me pleasantly surprised - I didn't expect it to be this good I work in Schaumburg and was getting tired of the local lunch places. I decided to check yelp to see if there were any local places that served some 'za by the slice, and Jet's came up. It's a bit further than I like to go for lunch, but it will be worth the occasional drive. Now this could come off as bad depending on who reads it, but the pizza is sort of like a high-quality Pizza Hut style pizza, with crispy/oily/buttery crust. I guess the 2 medium pizza deal limits you to the round style, which wasn't a problem. When the food arrived, the pizzas looked similar to Little Caesars, but wasn't as enjoyable. I'd give a 2 or 3 star rating for the round pizza. Because the Jets bread is so delish, we wanted to give the square pizza a try since that seems to be more of their specialty. No worries.. however we ordered the phone and were told 20 minutes.. went in and the order didn't print on the printer since it was out of paper. Was told 10-15 minutes as it didn't get made.. no worries.. wait 15.. there is a line of 4 people now.. go in again ( husband this time) .. can't find the order to begin with and then say oh it's gonna be another 5-10 minutes.. This place sucks I ordered a Large Plain Pizza and it was late by 45 min. The Driver I think his name was Brian, told me that I should tip him, and if I didn't he would deliver my next order even later, he was unprofessional, rude, and he told me to go f-off, I don't know who this person is but he was the most unprofessional deliver service man I've seen, and I just moved into the area and I heard this place has the best pizza, so if you get this delivery driver, all I am going to say is he will deliver your food late and he doesn't care about the customers. read more
