You place your order at the counter, and they bring the pizza to your table. They make Neapolitan pies from three wood-fired ovens imported straight from Naples -- with dough and sauce made fresh, in-house, every single day. I waited 10 to 15 minutes for them to bring my pizza. The pizza tasted hot, fresh and flavorful. Based upon the taste and quality of the pizza, I would definitely consider returning. One thing to note about parking. They do have a small private parking lot, but be certain you are visiting the restaurant when parking there. There are "towing enforced" signs. So, if you're in the downtown Roswell area, definitely try Pizzeria Lucca. Cheers

They use Italian double-zero flour, high-quality ingredients, and an authentic Italian oven that turns out that perfect thin, slightly charred crust you want from true Neapolitan-style pizza. Everything tastes fresh, simple, and done the right way. Another big plus is the atmosphere. There's usually plenty of room inside, so it's an easy place to bring the family, and the front porch is a great spot to sit outside, enjoy a beverage, and have a relaxed meal. For me, Pizza Lucca rivals Antico when it comes to authentic Italian pizza--and having something this good right here in Roswell makes it even better. Highly recommend.

She provided great recommendations and gave us the opportunity to try the garlic bread as first time diners. I tried the Baked Lumache based upon Dasia's suggestion. Hubby and I are early birds, so no surprise that we were the only ones there upon arrival around 4ish. We sat down and started to look over the menu. There was only one guy working and whether intentionally or not, he definitely gave off a vibe that felt like he was annoyed we had come in, which wasn't a great first impression. He never gave us napkins or utensils, so hubby got up and got some for us after the garlic bread we ordered as a starter arrived. The garlic bread was literally just toast with some garlic spread slathered on. It wasn't great, and we would not order it again. Aside from that, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and hubby got his weird Hawaiian concoction that I will never understand the appeal of. My pepperoni pizza was amazing. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni distribution were spot on, and the best part is that the bottom was perfectly crispy but not burned. Hubby's was good too, though he is less appreciative of the crisp factor than I am, though to be fair, he is not really much of a pizza fan to begin with and was just humoring my date night pick. After our pizza was brought to the table, other employees had started to arrive. Salty dude disappeared and a much nicer lady took over for him by bringing us drink refills and later closing out our tab. We will not be returning for date night, but the pizza was definitely good enough for a repeat visit. I will most likely just order as carryout during lunchtime instead, though. I wasn't really a fan of the vibe for dining in, particularly due to the salty guy who we seemed to annoy at the beginning, but I think the pizza was definitely worth coming back for.

Not too light though - any lighter and I might have asked for more seasoning. I enjoyed the flavors of the Tagliolini Bolognese. It was hearty, savory and I could see it being a comfort food me if I were a local. I would have liked the pasta to be on the Al dente side but it wasn't mushy to the point that there wasn't any chew. Also enjoyed the dessert. Great way to cap the meal. Really enjoyed the experience there overall. Sitting at the bar, not loud - kinda intimate. Maybe 10 seats. Beer, wine and spirits. Also a happy hour to finish out a work day.
