Jet's Pizza has been in Pearland for quite some time now but I really never thought to try it. They're scattered around the country and is a popular chain in the Midwest. Until recently, I have always been a fan of a thinner crust pizza and found out I love the Detroit style pizza just as much. I was recently talking to my cousin from Detroit and he told me his favorite chain back home was Jet's and I mentioned we had one in Pearland. It was my sign to quit playing around and give this spot a chance. This location is in a strip center anchored by an HEB. Parking can be tight right in front of the store. This is strictly and pick up and delivery spot. I ordered ahead and picked up on my way home from work. It was just out of the oven at the time I requested pickup. Perfect! Jet's is known for their Detroit style pizza which is pizza made in deep pans, not drowned in sauce, with crispy edges from the plethora of cheese on top. If that is not your jam, they also have thin crust, hand tossed and New York style. For those watching their figures, they have cauliflower and gluten free crusts as well. I went with an All Meaty 8 corner Detroit style pizza because I wanted all the crispy edges. This pizza was absolutely delicious. They did not skimp on all the meats. You can tell they use quality toppings as well. You can add crust flavor so I went with garlic which was a tasty addition. Just out of curiosity, I also ordered a thin crust chicken bacon ranch. This pizza had grilled chicken, bacon, mozzarella and cheddar, and their own ranch seasoning. This pizza was so good. The thin crust was just right, and the cajun seasoning crust flavor put it over the top. Again with this pizza, the toppings were plentiful with every bite having quality chicken and bacon. I kept taking bites between the two different styles of pizza and couldn't make up my mind which I enjoyed more. They were both so good. I thought I had a favorite Detroit style spot in Houston before, but Jet's is right up there with them. As far as Pearland pizza goes, Jet's is the place to go now in my opinion. Ordered online, we got the hand tossed medium pizza witch chicken and bacon it was good not to greasy. We also got the turbo cheese bread or something like that, the bread was good but honestly it was suppose to be the one with most cheese and it kinda just tasted like we were eating bread but good flavor bread! We also got the Cinamon stix and my boyfriend said he would've liked them better if they came it icing on the side to dip, by the time we got home so much of the cinnamon and icing was soaked into the bread not much flavor was there but maybe if we would've eaten them straight out the over they would've been better read more

Might be crazy to say.. but it wasn't that good. There's a ton of hype around it online but the deep dish was just mediocre, as a one and done it's okay. I almost think a chain cheap pizza place could be better. The ranch was great but that doesn't make up for the pie. It's certainly not bad, but not amazing. Just right in the middle. OK, so it's Saturday night and you've got people coming over in an hour and you don't feel like cooking...Pizza, right? Riiiight?!!!! I used to eat Jet's pizza when I lived in Detroit...oh god, it's good. Really good. No, really..it's great pizza. Didn't know there was one down here until the wife (my favorite source for new places) brought one home. It was like I was having a full-blown pizza hallucination when I saw the Jet's box. Hadn't had one of those since the 70s.... It's not thick and not thin...kind of a little bready, but the crust on the bottom and on the edges is kind of butter-toasted and crunchy. Somehow they are very consistent in getting pieces of cheese on the edges that are just crispy and flavorful....trust me, if you like pizza crust, you want to go for the corner pieces first on this one. The pepperoni is well-toasted, giving it that bacon-like crispy meat taste that says "Yes! let's have this for breakfast, too". Yep, I'd give my kid a strong Heisman to grab the last piece...If on the rare occasion that there is anything left, you can cut it up and put it in an omellete in the morning.... Fast and friendly, hey, it's a pizza place. BUUUUT, it's one of the best in the city. Go try and tell me I'm wrong. read more

(Regardless, I will certainly come here again.)** I'd never heard of this chain until I searched for 'Detroit style pizza' in my Yelp app. Needless to say, I'm so glad I did the search. First -- and unbeknownst to me (I suppose I need to pay better attention to other reviews) -- this place is takeout only. The cool thing is, they provided plates and napkins so that we could eat in the car! ;-) Another review here refers to the old-school Pizza Hut pan pizza as a comparable pie, and I certainly agree insofar as the crust goes. It's a delicious crispy-fluffy base that is as toothsome as any chain pizza out there. Jet's Pizza exceeds the old Pizza Hut version with the (better) cheese, pepperoni, and sauce, which tastes more like tomatoes and less like the spicy heartburn-inducing tang of the old Pizza Hut sauce. -- Unlike the mega-chain pan version of old, however, Jet's offers up a (square) pie with beautiful crispy/crunchy caramelized cheese on the edges. The folks here are very friendly, and they really seem like they wanted us to leave happy. If I have any complaint, it would only be that the fridge contains only Pepsi products. I really want to like Pepsi products, but... Sorry, not sorry. My only other complaint is that this place hasn't opened an outlet in my hometown. ;-) read more

There aren't very many options in this area for deep dish pizza so I was really excited to try this place, but I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. I used the text to order feature for the 20% discount and ordered a large deep dish Eugene Supreme for around $18. It was ready in less than 20 minutes. The crust was a perfect texture but there's not much flavor to it, like it needed at least more salt or something. They do offer flavor options for their crust at no extra charge so I'd recommend picking one of those. The sauce also doesn't have much flavor so I definitely needed to use the packets of Parmesan and red pepper flakes that come with the order. I have heard really good things from some friends about the pizza here so I think I'll come back and give one of their other pizzas a try. read more

I lowered the review because they pizza and the calzone were very very greasy. The grease and oil took away from the flavor of the actual pizza. Why 5 stars? Because I remain such a huge fan of Jet's despite a long absence. --- --- --- When we lived in Tampa, Jet's was a once-every-few-weeks guilty pleasure for us. We would order it, stuff our faces to the point of it being borderline painful and fall asleep into a deep food coma. And then a couple months later, we'd do it again. Then we moved to Texas and didn't have a Jet's Pizza anywhere near us, so it had been about 8 months since our last Jet's belly-stuffing experience. But when visiting my parents in Friendswood, I saw that this location wasn't too far away, so we decided to order a ton of pizza for the whole family. I always make a custom Detroit-style pizza: hamburger, ham, bacon, green pepper and onion. And I have ranch nearby for dipping. I ordered a large, and after over two hours of playing basketball on an empty stomach, I housed 6 of the 8 pieces. Happiness ensued. My parents and brother had never experienced Jet's before this and all had great feedback, especially my brother. I think Jet's gained a few new fans in addition to gaining us a few new pounds. The only real drawback is that this pizza is expensive! For our group, it was about $150. But it does definitely seem to be a higher quality than most places, so you get what you pay for. read more

This pizza offers a four corner pizza. My fave is the eight corner pizza which is what I ordered. I got the garlic flavored crust. It was fresh affordable and well worth it. I visited Jet's Pizza after I arrived to Houston from the Houston Intercontinental Airport. The Jet's pizza offers gourmet pizzas. The Michigan deep dish pizza is my favorite pizza. I love the pizza options, and Jet's pizza offers generous discounts if a person orders from the jet's pizza website. Jet's pizza offers a 15 percent discount if you order using the text messaging system. Unfortunately, the discounts do not combine. I have purchased a supreme pizza from Jet's pizza. The pizza has a bountiful offering of toppings. I am concerned regrading the provenance of the anchovy toppings from the restaurant. The anchovy tasted extremely salty compared to other pizza places. The pizza restaurant lacks ambiance. The pizza restaurant does not have enough tables and chairs for a professional restaurant. The pizza restaurant has a distinct smell- the smell resembles the smell from an oriental chinese shop. I hope they will consider and clean the interior of the restaurant. I would not hesitate to order and pickup pizzas- but to eat at this location? Yuck! read more

I love Jet's. I first tried Jet's in Michigan, Kalamazoo visiting my brother in law. I had never heard of Jet's prior. I have to say I wish this location was closer to my house. I'm usually more of a thin crust kinda gal but something made me want to do it Detroit deep dish style the other night. I must say it was quite satisfying. I'm always receiving coupons and flyers in the mail for Jet's and see it every time I go to HEB. For some reason I was under the impression it probably wasn't very good. Well let me tell you, I was wrong. I got a "The best of Jet's" special. A small deep dish pepperoni pizza with Turbo'd crust . The small comes with 6 pieces of pizza. I kinda wanted more toppings but decided to stick with just one. They charge you a buck and some change for each topping so the toppings start to add up and make you forget you even got a special or used a coupon so I decided to just stick to the good old 'roni. Well, the pizza was delicious! Yummz! The crust was nice and crispy on the outside but soft inside, the cheese was SO good and gooey and the pepperoni nice and crispy/crunchy. The sauce was also good and just the right amount. I do wish I would've ordered a side of marina to also dip that yummy deep crust pizza in. That is something I've noted for next time. The added bonus though, was that I only ended up eating 3 slices and ate the other 3 for lunch the next day. 2 slices was actually plenty but it was so good I ended up fitting in 1 more. Another great thing about this place was the service. The young man that handed me my phone was very kind and respectful. U gotta love a kid you can tell was raised well and takes pride in his job. Had my first visit to Jet's Pizza on Saturday evening. We did not realize it was to go only, was disappointed at first but it worked out. I got a large, deep dish bbq chicken pizza. Jet's Pizza brings me back. I spent four years in Michigan where I first had Jet's. Since then, they've expanded to Texas. This location is off of Pearland Parkway close to H-E-B. It's more of a grab-and-go type pizza joint as they only have one table for two people indoors and two tables outside. I, however, was able to snag the one table indoors. I went with one of their lunch specials, I small one-topping square pizza (six slices). Definitely more than enough for one person, you'll have leftovers. I went with a cheese pizza with bacon. The manager was super-friendly and she remembered my name while I was there so A+ for her hospitality. You can customize your crust at Jet's with 8 or so options including sesame, poppy seed, etc. Their lunch specials are offered every day until 3, even on weekends. Not the best pizza in the world but very, very solid for a chain. Added bonus? 7% cash back on Yelp. I paid in cash like an idiot because I forgot. Don't be like me. read more
